  1. Thank you so much for letting me join, I really appreciate it :) ... I think I have all the information I need - patch is 8.5"x8.5" (with 3cm min border), deadline is September.

Actually, I have two questions. Do we have to PM you for the address to send it to, or will you send out a PM en masse in September when we are ready to send them? And I know the theme is rainbow colours, but are you assigning specific colours (because otherwise we could end up with too many of one colour, or no greens for example).

  2. I'm just around the corner from the gallery now and I can't wait to see the fantastic artwork.

Unfortunately it's not open yet, so I'm in M&S having a cappucino waiting. Does anyone have a clue what time it does open?

I've just checked the Blink website and they say they're open 10-6. Not long to wait! :thumb_yello:

  3. I know your deadline for signing up technically passed a couple of days ago, but is there any chance I could make one? I'm very crafty and would love to know there is a little bit of me in the Mika quilt! I can understand if you don't want me to, because I am a new member. :)

  4. Hello :) I joined a few weeks ago but never said hi so I thought I should introduce myself instead of lurking...

I've been a big fan of Mika for the last few months - I can pinpoint the exact moment I became a fan rather than casually listening to his music. That was May 20th when I saw him onstage at the Radio 1 Big Weekend. (I actually live a half minute walk from the park it was held on... it is a very strange thought that Mika has played onstage in the exact spot I learned to ride a bike!) My sister made me come so I went just for her and was bored by most of the acts until Mika came on and lit up my world :mf_lustslow: Since then I've been insanely addicted!

I went to the Manchester TBA gig having won tickets (and it was me dragging my sister along this time!) and experienced the full glory of Mika live and fell even more for him and his music. Unfortunately didn't win tickets for the iTunes gig :( and I don't do Festivals so won't be seeing him again until Manchester in November. Although I am thinking I will go to the Blink exhibition. I would have to go on my own though, and it's a three hour train ride so I'm not sure that would be too insane  I really want to though!

Erm, think I've waffled enough... oh I should say I'm Alex, I'm 25 and a girl and live in Preston in the North-West of England. Hope I get to know you all!
