Miks lil finga

I went to that gig. I will post my few photos and videos this week end. About videos, I got a video of Mika arriving (I'll translate French) and one of Andy dancing on Yelle's music.

I'm happy that people could go in backstage. I'm extremely sad that some did not, and that some had not their time with Mika.

Nevertheless, I wonder what is the interest of a 150 people backstage... The team knew it would not be fair, because some people are polite and patient, and some are "killers". I hope next time they will keep 50 people or as said Jenny just to make people get out after their turn.

I call the "killers" those who are always pushing on every thing or person (John, Mrs Penniman) to get what they want from Mika. It's disgusting, I am quite angry about that total lack of respect. Because I think that is the real problem here. Those who kept Mika with them as an exclusive thing do not respect others fans and not even Mika!

But of course we care!!! Who wouldn't care? We're happy for those who spent a good time but we never forget those who had bad experiences.

But you perfectly know some people just care of their own stuff and would erase their queue neighbours to get 10cm closer!!! There are definitely some people who don't care at all, since their own will and request are satisfied.

Firstly, is that the same house he had in the making of Happy Ending film?

Secondly, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have had his flat redone,"designed around his piano" (his words), if he was thinking of moving, especially as he has said he doesn't like change. Did anyone actually hear what he said on Jo Whileys show? I know it's difficult as it's so nice just to listen to his voice, I know I do, but it's so easy to miss stuff by not hearing what he says, which it seems is the case here.

I'm not having a go, it's just that it seems that this information seemed to get overlooked, when it is available and then everybody seems to go into a tailspin about whether he is leaving the country.

If he ever, does fair enough, but it's obviously not happening anytime soon. That's all I'm saying.

Mika's pronunciations are inconsistent anyway, even with the same song. On the album and some earlier live performances of Big Girl he sings "lady" with a long "i" sound instead of a long "a". So much so that I didn't even know what the word was until I looked up the lyrics.

 

Now he's changed it to a proper long "a" and it sounds normal.

I'm afraid I never had this problem, cos' Mika speaks English with American accent but I wonder if he doesn't pronounce vowels a la française...

We can't compare vowels with t or p ork...

Hmm, I wouldn't take it as proof, because 'ticket' is in the middle of a line in Sally, and not being emphasised like in this song. He can pronounce things fine when he is talking, etc, but he likes to ... embellish some words when he's singing, like with the "-eeah" at the end of chicken/ticket.

Has anyone compared with the "Sally" Lyrics??? He sings "she bought a ticket", he pronounces "t" and not "tch". I think, comparing with it, that it is definitely "ain't got no chicken".

Do you think cameras were allowed in European gigs??? No, but hide it, I got few tips if you're interested! and if you fear to be taken and put away the machine from you, you can get a throwable one, however they will give it back to you at the end of the gig!
