No way it won't hurt him!!!!! He does NOT need the mainstream American audience! They do not play him on the radio here...but EVERY show on the tour was SOLD OUT! THAT speaks for itself!

MIKA IS BIG in America.... but he has a core base of dedicated fans that have been there from the beginning! Seems that no one else is willing to give him a chance!

I'm SO glad you've been pushing the radion stations here to play Mika. Generally, Miami's 'popular' radio stations play the uber-mainstream stuff. There isn't anything wrong with that, really, but it pisses me off everytime I hear Kanye West's mostly explicit lyrics being aired around the block.

Well Orlando's 3-4 hours away from Miami...though I think I'd drive anywhere within the state to lose my Mikavirginity.

He has been to Florida before, he came to Miami last summer.

1. Miami, Florida!!! I know Mika performed here back in June 2007...I'm afraid I was completely unaware of his existence at the time. I'd be eternally grateful for another summer gig in 2008!

2. St.Petersburg, Florida (My sister conveniently goes to school there. It takes a mere 3 hours to get there...)

Thanks Sparkly1! I know its difficult type along to a radio broadcast...and I only heard the last half of the show, missed Mika probably by seconds...anyway that was better than nothing.

I guess I'm the only one who initially thought of Light Sabers when I saw those tubes in the Grace Kelly video.....freudian symbolism certainly wasnt on my mind.

Hey there.......so where exactly in Florida do you live? I'm from Miami! I'm pretty much a newbie as well, I first heard of Mika a little over a month ago.

He has been by Florida before. It was June 17th, came to downtown Miami for a gig. Sadly, I was completely unawares. =(

I'm hoping he'll come back...I'm dying to see him live...and meet him, of course. =P

YAY! So glad Mika's coming back to the States......Been a fan for almost a month now (heard of him through a mutual friend, actually)- but I'm obsessed.
