I am trying to get with the website

It just takes me long till I find the thread of the last post I've posted ....

By the way, Since last time I've posted ; its really getting chilly here ...brrrr....

I like Beirut ......

They remind me of old songs (espicially arabic ones; Fayirouz and Om Kolthom, Fareed Al Atrash ; they had such music too + of course French artisits its their origin; but unfortunately i don't know much of the french artists)- But thats not all ; their music really gets me moving around and imagning playing with each instrument they use.

I imagine all the instruments as they tune and ryhme into one piece of a song .

Best songs I have heard to them till now - was nantes (thanks to Mika - whom introduced it on his website and actually got to know them from Mika's blog post ), Postcrads form Italy, My family's role in world revolution and mmm what else, the Bratislava , Gulag orkestar (these are just musical - with no words), I heard most of them on youtube.

Are there any suggestions for this beautifull band ??

my earache = mon otite (not "ma otite"), which is an inflammation of the ear (une inflammation de l'oreille) Noha

your earache = ton otite (not "ta otite")

his/her earache = son otite (not "sa otite")

my friend = mon ami (masculine) or mon amie (feminine)

One thing beside the Weather report The traffic one; here in Egypt were facing huge traffic jam.That I intentionally leave work late to escape the traffic hour.

Hi I am new - But kinda old - But justed started today checking the site and the forums on it. It really took me hours to understand how to post something But I guess am handling it.

I am Noha from Egypt - and am really hoping that some day MIKA would visit Egypt. Since he has visited most of the worlds' countries He seemed to forgot Egypt tottaly...
