  1. I really don't hope that this song is the one with the highest potentials of the upcoming album. The song is so forced, all about sex and being horny and the almost moaning of the woman, please. Yes, it is ok to have sex with the same gender, but it is so " in your face" gayparade like. I have higher expectations of someone who apparently has been in a relationship for years, there are more layers and I can't feel real love or real feelings. Even though the song is written in “I and You“, it is with less emotions than Billy Brown and remains quiet impersonal in my opinion, honestly this is not "same love" who really touches you. Musically it is rather plain, and even that the music fits to summer, there is too much repetition of boum like mellody said and the woman's voice -forget it. Mika's voice sounds nice but somehow strained in the screaming/ bridge part, and this is not even live. This said, I also think that this is the best part.

Then the coverart, I can't see an artistic development from licm with the recycled swatch mask. In 2007 it was fresh but seems kind of outdated today like the whole song that fits better to an early twenty rather than a grown up man. And you can't refer to the lyrics of Lollipop, that was more subtile and he was so much younger. From his media appearance I get the impression he wants to be seen as a sophisticated grown up man with style, wearing Valentino, meeting K. lagerfeld, and red carpetwalking with Selma Hayek, etc. Not that I'm impressed by that, that is his choice, but this song, with this message and this cover doesn't resemble that.

  2. Great concert, but what was that with the drawing of Mika, that he took from some girls in the front row :naughty: Didn't he say that it was the most awful drawing of him and it didn't look like him at all? naughty naughty mika :teehee:

He then went on singing with the drawing around his neck. honestly I felt a little bit sorry for the girl, I mean she probably tried as good as she could.

She got it afterwards again from one of the roadies, said it was hers, I probably wouldn't have said that :fisch:

  3. I really don't want to be nosy, or disrespectful to him, so I won't say much, but I heard some rumours about this girl being very pretty.

Someone said that she looked like a model , or that she was a model, or that she could be a model....something like that anyway :aah:

    ha, right sariflor,

you really can scar the female fans:roftl:

  4. Holy cow... how unprofessional this is. I still do not have my tx and at Sandbag the only thing they say is "Everything will be ok". They do not work in the weekend, Monday is a Bank Holiday and Tuesday is the gig. So when will it be ok then? How come this Helen woman does not communicate a solution? Is that why we pay fees? How hard can it be to put some tickets in an envelope IN TIME? Amateurs.

Anybody received some worthy info from those sand bags? Please share it with us.

    the gig is on manday,

    haven't gotten any news today.

  5. hurra,

helen finally got the twins to fall asleep - and she wrote me.

I am really going to miss this conversation.

Unfortunately we are still waiting to receive the tickets from the promoter. We expect them tomorrow.

As soon as they arrive we will mail them out and they should only take 3 working days to reach you.

If you don't have the tickets by Friday 29th then please get in touch and we will arrange for duplicate tickets to be available for you to collect from the venue box office on the night of the show.

    Kind regards

    Helen@sandbag

:teehee:dedicated to helen, you made me a mika groupie:roftl::roftl:

  6. :roftl:

yeah, she is really something - probably a real hottie, though maybe not so clever - i think she has problems with switching on the computer today, at least I haven't gotten an email undtil now. but I really believe she is fighting for it.

    :roftl:

helen honey - I start to loose faith in you - I received an email, and I got totally excited, undtil I realised that it was about the belgium gig ticket ( wich I have sold) and that it has been dispatched.

I know that during the breastfeeding period many women get confused, so that should have been the tickets to berlin ( you know it is closer ). and you didn't wrote back according to the berlin gig.:aah:

    does anybody got some news??

  7. I asked the Passionskirche about the seating and they answered:

"Die erstze Reihe besteht aus Sitzplätzen. Gestanden wird an den Seiten. Was

die Barrieren betrifft, so muss ich passen. Normalerweide gibt es keine

Barrieren, aber das kann von Künstler zu Künstler unterschiedlich sein."

"The first row consists of seats. You stand on the sides. Usually there are no barriers in the church but I don't know. It depends on the artist."

Do you think she really means the first ROW? or ROWS?

it's written as the first row

so muss ich passen - i don't know ( it is an expression )

  8. :roftl:

:lmao: Shame, if the poor woman knew how much fun she has provided us while we wait for the tickets :roftl:

  9. I'm telling you: this is a home business, and poor Helen is trying to multitask making up the codes, sending emails, packing tickets in envelopes, whilst breastfeeding the twins :roftl::roftl:

I have written already to my dear friend helen this morning, but I haven't received an answer yet. but as a mother I know that breastfeading is hard work, so I don't expect an answer before this afternoon. then the twins usually sleep and she can relax while browsing her mail:roftl:

  10. :mail:

Just a note, to relax (or maybe not) people who didn't received tickets yet...

i received a ticket today but in the order tracking of the shop website there is written: "not yet dispatched"

so, maybe, yours tickets are on the way and you don't know because also in your order there is written "not dispatched" :original:

    :mail:

    to which concert?

  11. and just due to the fact that I am only have written about the bl....y tickets,

I can consider myself as mikagroupie:teehee:

and this is my husbands reaction:roftl: haha,

as a mother of two I just want to have a nice weekend in berlin with my husband without the kids, that does not include praying to get the tickets, waiting in line for hours - one in the normal line and the other one tries to get the ticket - I am over that age.

  12. MFC had nothing to do whatsoever with allocating seats here. The seats were solely allocated by the order sequence.

So, people ordering at 12:00 would get better seats than people ordering at 13:00, etc... This is why I say that any "proper" site's system would allocate seats instantly and the buyer would know on the spot which seat they got. Like ticketmaster, as I said earlier. When you book you are seeing the seats that you are buying, and you can even change them if you don't like those.

It's really not a lot to ask from a ticketing site, and therefore I think that this is the direction that Team Mika should be moving towards rather than the early sandbag release.

Even the latest public tickets for his Sadlers Wells gig have been released through ticketmaster, so people can see which seats they are getting instantly. Shame it didn't work out the same for the presale ones! :wink2:

Oh and I never said that sandbag are not reputable; Just that they are not properly organised IMO, and not really up to scratch if you compare them with sites like Ticketmaster. That's all. They only seem to have one person manually doing everything. To me that is more like a home run business than a professional site, and I'm not sure that they are really able to cope with this.

So, again, Team Mika's management people who were in charge of finding a ticketing site should have done their research and be informed of the procedures that these people follow, and then chosen accordingly.

I can't see how having more notice of shows or potential changes by Mika would have any sort of impact in how their system lacks the ability to allocate seats and display them to the buyer at the time of purchase? See, we always end up getting back to the same situation there.

    I totally agree,

and I think it's not fair that we, who have bought the tickets through mikas own side should be disadvanced.

And in my opinion there is a total lack of communication.

I want a official statement from sanbag how they handle the situation,

" we send them out as soon we get them" it is not good enough.

Do they really want that everybody mails to them and they have to answer on every single mail?

I definetly would have prefered to have the tickets 2 weeks before the gig as it said. I mean this is a point I - as the byer- have agreed to.

I mean how much time should I spend - like now - on the tickets?

after all, I claim that the front rows goes to us who have ordered through presale, after all the inconvinience with the bl...y tickets.

    WE DESERVE IT.

  13. that's why i'm writing to them on thursday at the latest.

i feel they need to know who has not received the ticks at home, so that they inform the local ticket office to print it for you to collect at the venue.

i suggest to wait till tomorrow, maybe they will send us another email saying they have shipped the ticket or if not, saying how to manage.

    honestly,

even if they dispatch them tomorrow, I probably won't get it in time. it's says that shipping to other european countries takes plus- minus a week.

let's say they send them on tuesday and I have to have them on friday, it is only three days. even the people in germany have to have their tickets at least saturday. no post sunday and no post manday ( bank holliday)

so I would say they don't have to ship it to other european countries. WE CAN'T BE SURE THAT WE GET THEM.

    :aah:

  14. I got this email yesterday:

    "Hi

We haven’t received the tickets as yet but as soon as we get them we’ll mail them to you.

If the tickets don’t reach you in time then we will reissue them for you to collect at the venue box office.

    Kind regards

    Helen@sandbag"

We're leaving to Berlin on 30th May. I'm pretty sure we don't have tickets with us at that time. But we'll see :thumb_yello:

yeah, I am pretty sure that I don't receive my tickets either,

but I don't know, what they mean.

they send the ticket and I won't receive it in time?

or is it they won't send the ticket at all?

won't they send all the tickets or does everybody have to

    ask for that?

I don't want to complain either, but doesn't this sound like- cough- team mika-cough..........

  15. it's just irritating, I have to see if I can change the adress of the brussel ticket :aah:

It's just that I also have bought tickets for berlin and I don't know if they could possibly send the wrong tickets to the wrong adress:shocked:

if you know what I mean............
