Can somebody please explain to me what happened on the gig (if anything happened at all)..? Why are you so mysterious, Bianka?? I can't see the vid because net connection when in mountains sucks... anybody? did something happen?

Nothing happened, Keti. Don't worry. The gig was absolutely brilliant and that's it.

And I would just like you guys to understand that I don't want to talk about it. I can't.

I'm glad it did. We started making the concept for the banner as NOT to use the word "GOLDEN" whatsoever because it has gotten pretty overused lately. So we started coming up with all sorts of funny things and I thought: let's write something that only the fans and him (them) know about. You wouldn't believe it what faces people made at it. :roftl:

That was a guy. Poor them. I had to explain them everything. They weren't that big of fans and they didn't get the idea at all. Yet they have had the time of their lives!

That would be mine. I mean I had the idea and I wrote it. Sorry for bragging, but I'm quite proud of it! You can even see me BEING proud in the pic. I'm on the top right-ish with the hat like Mika's.

What do you think about it?

I'm currently waiting for my boyfriend to transfer from the cam onto the laptop the 2 GB (!) of taped Mika goodness! He was the one filming, as I was a lolly on-stage.

Tis Ioana taking over Vanessa's account...long story,bad memory on me,but we all know that by now

Anywho.quick report,as I've seen nobody really posted any gig details just the swooning :

 

It was hot! it was creepy hot! it was inhumanly hot! And I am talking weather not gig

Well,we were 'let in' at about...eh 6:30...tho 'let in' is a loose term as we were 'in' all along just not very close to the stage.

Gig started after some magnificent DJ guy abused his privilege for an hour.

After the guy's set was over,Mika's mom went ahead to picking big girls,lollies,4 boys and the unspecting bride..ja,i got married,congratulations are in order.

The great thing was that,since they needed some more BG's and boys,i helped a bit,and you should have seen those people's faces when i asked "hey,wanna be on stage?"

I think it was beyond anything they expected. I know some little lollies were having fibrilations and swore never to was the respective body part that touched Mika.

They were so small and cuuute!

anyway,we skipped the cut copy,or copy paste people,or whatever the band was called but we got to see a pretty big chunk of the gig from the audience. I gotta say kids,I didn't envy any BG's or lollies for having to sit through the gig dressed in their costumes in that heat. I just got my thing on just before going on stage and even those15 mins were getting crazy warm.

Anyway....the gig,well people loved the gig,I think everyone on Mika's side was surprised how many people were singing along and showed up...I mean I have no idea what they knew about Romania and what they expected,but he at least looked happy people were so hyper during the show.

I also hear Mr Sims liked my homeland,:thumb_yello:as well as Imma who i think wanted to hear a bit more about our gorgeous mountains,but sadly,it didn't properly come to that. I mean come on,we have a friggin fantastic country ,despite all the common issues that you bump your head into,in every country. So here tis

We are alive that's for sure. It just that most of the MFCrs are in Mamaia in a hotel or something and can't really post anything as I don't think many of them have a laptop...

Now I won't be able to sleep at night, 'cause I'll be wondering what happened.

Nothing happened...nothing like what you think at least.

But there were certain little moments that gave me jelly feet and if I start talking about that it could turn quite fangurly and non-sense.

O.K. keep your memories but I hope your mum will do a report .

You know how curious we all are.

I have to say that I'm on cloud nine right now. I'm afraid this gig was too special from so many points of view that I actually would like to keep it all as a memory. I regret. I won't make a report. There are too many things to say that are worth to remain only in my mind.

Iti recomand Sir-ul pt ca vad ca nu e Simpa la ora aia. Probabil ala de la 7:00 mi se pare cel mai accesibil si decent...daca vrei sa vii mai pe racoare, vino cu cel de 5:30 si prinzi primul sau al doilea double decker pt mamaia. Oricum alea vin din 30 in 30 de ora.

I suppose we have kinda neglected the other non-Romanian speakers of the forum, and I feel like it's about time to explain a bit here what's going on and why we've been talking in Romanian all along.

1. I apologise for that on the behalf of everyone.

2. We have started planning doing this mega-banner (ok not that MEGA ...but it's gonna be big) on the beach on the day of the concert and we have discussed it here what colours should we use, who brings the cloth and so on.

3. We have been planning on getting Mika something 100%Romanian as our folclore is quite fascinating and we guessed he would like something hand-made and colorful. We'll find out soon much he would like that...

4. We have a gig-surprise...we can't say what it is...you never know who lurks around here. But I'll just say that if it all turns out for the best, we will make Mika grin and prove him that he has true fans, even here!

5. Orange, the official sponsor has given us some headaches lately. Being a free gig, and most of all being in ROMANIA, it couldn't have worked smoothly, so they started making all sorts of competitions. They said there will be an A ZONE at the concert, meaning a spot in front of the stage for 200 people only, who will be able to access it by ordering this certain card from them with a Mika keychain (ever since I'm a Mika fan, I have never wanted a keychain!! ). It was tough as we had to wait for them for a couple of weeks. Everything is fine now...though not all of us found out in time about it and there are few in danger of being left out of the A ZONE...

Besides we have only found out 2 days ago about this certain stupid competition on Orange's Facebook, where you had to click the "Like" button on their page and in the end, they would've picked one of those people, who had 15! other friends that clicked the "Like" button on their page, and made him the winner of 15 special invitations or something like that, that guaranteed him and his 15 buddies, the front row at the gig. Fascinating, isn't it? Can you imagine, if there would be competitions like these for every country Mika goes to, what would the world be like?

That is basically all that we have dicussed here. Also, I, being the MFCr on duty, born and bred here where the gig will occur, I had to explain the other MFCrs how to get around the city.

Now that everyone is updated with our babbling...I can only say that we're just too excited about this gig, as it has been completely unexpected. I hope for the best and that Romanian audience will not let Mika &co. down.
