  1. Amazing performance nice to see some MFCErs There rocking it out in the crowd lol did u see Kate Nash as well she was sat behind gladys knight at a table drinking beer to support her hubby... Ahh :-) anyways I thought meeks looked a bit sad maybe he was just really focused but he is normally really smiley :-(

  2. I've done pics and making the vlog right now. pics have uploaded to photobucket, so they'll be up in the next post!

I think I've got balloons in one of my videos. And those girls...maybe if we yell at them enough they'll learn :aah:

andy is mika's cameraman and ross is his manager's assistant. Or something. I only heard about him for the first time yesterday :aah:

I managed to get a sneaky pic of him but he looks better in person lol :roftl:

uhhh *getting strangely excited* :teehee: will you be uploading that pic on photobucket?? please:naughty: btw you are such a lucky girl:teehee::biggrin2:

  3. We got to Paul O'Grady and joined the "special queue" xD Fred was already there and so was Cassie and Rose, so I joined them (the others were nearer the front) and DaisyLou also joined us. Fred had a bottle of champagne for Mika to say thanks to him after everything he's done for us on behalf of MFC, which I thought was lovely, but security said he couldn't take it in so Fred had to leave it in reception. (I should really start calling him Dave lol). The lostintv guy was there who is LOVELY by the way, I don't know how many times I said thank you to him throughout my stay at the studios :aah:

Anyway, so we got let in and me, Fred, Cassie, DaisyLou, Rose and BexxY were on the lefthand side (but if you looked at the audience from the TV perspective we were on the right) about 4 rows up?

The warm up guy was hilarious, some darkish skinned black curly-ish haired man made us feel comfortable and made us laugh loads. Bit intimidating though, I didn't wanna be picked out by him cos he was very quick witted

Anyway the show started and I have to say Paul O'Grady is rather tall  I was expecting him to be quite short lol!

Anyway, I'm guessing you all know what happened on the show. It was really good, had a nice view, and when Mika came on to sing the whole audience (or MFC at least xD) practically shouted out the lyrics and we were dancing and clapping in our chairs. I was clapping throughout the entire song, I'm surprised I don't have bruises! Mika was a lot more confident on this show than he was on the Jonathon Ross show, he performed like he was at an actual gig in the studio, or that's what it seemed like anyway, I haven't watched the episode yet.

The show was lots of fun, just felt like you were at home watching it really

Oh, and that guy walking all over the mannequin? OH MY GOD?! He was amazing (with a delicious body may I add) and there no wires or anything. He was simply brilliant. My mouth was open the entire time xD (NOT drooling but from horror in case he fell! xD)

Anyway the show finished and we got a nodding Olga. I forgot to mention that at the ice cream van I asked Ross if we were allowed to take a gigantic poster home, and he gave me one. So, not only did I have to lug around two bags, I had this ginormous poster and now I had this dog in a box :aah:

When we got out I followed Freddie into reception to get the champagne back. The champagne was given to Rose and it became her duty to either give it to Mika herself or to give it to someone in his management.

We got a cab straight away and went to the venue.

There weren't many people there at all and managed to get with the MFCers who got there before us. Danika and I were busting for the toilet so we went to a café place...thing...but whilst we were doing our thing Mika turned up at the venue so we missed him :aah:

Ah well. We got back and it was starting to get dark really quickly. The soundcheck was really loud so we were singing away lol.

We got let in the venue and it's the most bizarre place ever, I recorded us going in. We started to queue inside and ended up by a bar. The sound check could be heard through the speakers so we started to sing again with bar staff dancing away xD Got that on camera too. Quite funny actually, cos we later found out that someone in the queue tweeted saying that there were some nutty Mika fans who already knew the words to the new songs and the record only came out today :aah: MFC kick ass!

The queue ended up snaking round and there was no security, so when the doors opened everyone squished through and they ran to the front. MFC would have got first and/or second row if things were civilised, but I believe only Sara and Daz were front row. Danika and Rose and others were several rows behind. I was with Katie in the centre but several rows back. I am really short so I couldn't see a thing, and I knew that everyone's hands would be in the air and my view would be even more restricted. Katie said we should just go to the back because the view would be better. I objected at first because I like being close, but admitted defeat and went to the back.

It was a shame to be honest actually because if people weren't so bloody rude...

So we joined Babs, Jemma, Daisy, Jules and Kev, Sarahlou (was there anyone else?)

Whilst we were waiting Ross came over and had a chat with me and Babs. He is really lovely. We ended up swapping contacts :-)

Mika came on and you know how it was, it was amazing.

The good thing about being at the back was that I didn't need to wear my high heels, so throughout the entire gig I was barefoot. Honestly, it's SUCH a relief! :aah: Also there was tons of space cos everyone was squished at the front, so we were able to do what the hell we liked. They all formed a row at the back and were dancing away but I went to left on my own because for me the view was alot better, so i raved on my own :aah: I still interacted with the MFCers and swapped sides and whatever, but most of the time I was on my own. But that was my own choice and I still had a really good time.

Also, I managed to say hello to Mama P and Andy was there with a girl enjoying the gig, and saw Fortuné, Zuleika and Yasmine watching the gig. Bless Fortuné, he was dancing away :roftl: Mama P was recording, and I think she was wearing the blue dress that she wore in Grace Kelly. But I could be wrong.

The only thing that got me down about this gig was that, because we were at the back, I did feel slightly detached. The atmosphere was completely different. There were times when I was dancing or doing actions with MFCers and not keeping my eye on Mika - who I was meant to be there for - and had to keep reminding myself that I was at a gig and not some party.

Though the good thing being at the back was that you had room to dance instead of being squished, and to be honest I enjoyed the freedom.

    I prefer seated gigs :aah:

It was meant to be seated apparently :dunno:

    part 3 coming up...

omg u said hi to mama p lol:teehee: btw who is andy and ross?? i probs have heard of them but i always seem to forget oh well. what does Fortuné look like?? cute im sure lol... you know im a similar age to him:naughty:

  4. OMG and I laughed at Danika when she said that, at one point, she had Mika's pubes in her face :lmfao: Now I see what she meant :roftl

    Plus: is that a hickey?

Totally agree with your post in general, and the bolded part is what I was trying to express earlier. I actually feel quite regretful about the fact that we 'invaded' the front like that.

LMAO:roftl::roftl: omg i think it is ... naughty boy :teehee:

  5. Soooo I got to London and met Danika. We found the travelodge and it was me, Danika and Laurel in there just talking and whatever. Tiibet was there too but she soon retreated to join other people. Then we met Jennie and bought our lunch, and went back to the hotel room to pig out.

We also had an iPod with speakers so we had a little party in this room of ours, dancing and singing away to Mika songs, which was great fun!

Then came Sariflor, Babs, Silver, Kath...have I missed anyone?

For a long period of time it was just me, Danika, Jennie and Sariflor, and then Babs soon after. Was Laurel there too? I know Marianne was there.

Can I just take a moment to say how FANTASTIC it was to just sit around chatting to MFCers in real life? I mean, I know there was Sadler's Wells, but that was a HUGE group and you couldn't really have much of a conversation because there were so many people to see. And there was the pub on Monday too, but the music was uber loud and wasn't really appropriate for talking, so to me, this was a real meet up with MFCers and I LOVED it.

To the people I spent time with: I love you all, truly, and you made the day SO MUCH FRIGGIN FUN. Thanks for making it wonderful :wub2: And I really felt like part of the crew too, like "we're all in this together". :huglove:

We ended up meeting other people when getting the tickets and then back at the hotel pub (after saying hello to John!) which was just as nice to interact with more people.

At about 8:30pm we started to queue up.

I was surprised at how small the venue was and how CLOSE we were to the stage and how SMALL the stage was! It was very intimate and I was so glad to be front row.

Come gig time, I did feel squashed. Now, I haven't been to a stand up gig since Hammersmith 08 so to me it did seem really pushy. I know to others it didn't because they're used to it, but for me it's been about a year and a half since so I guess I found it a bit more problematic.

One guy behind me had a cup in his hand when Mika came on and this dude behind me started jumping up and down, the drink went ALL over my foot -_- and I was not very amused to say the least :aah: But they were drunk and excited.

The guy behind me was so frikkin close to me I could feel his crotch sliding up and down my backside everytime he jumped which quite frankly was very annoying. I did feel squashed and could barely jump myself, though I tried. The guy behind me ended up squishing me to the point where I did yell "BACK OFF!!" I think that might be on video :roftl:

And there were cameras above and between me and Jennie which was irritating at first but I got used to it. I tried to move this one guys arm cos it was practically in front of Jennie's face and I think he apologised, I don't think he meant to do it, was just a little excited I guess.

The gig itself was really really good, I got a fair amount of eye contact and managed to touch Mika's hand twice when he put it in the crowd :blush-anim-cl:

He showed his true divaness when he sang Happy Ending, those high notes! :naughty:

As for Lollipop, maybe I did overreact, but I won't lie when I said I found it shocking because I wasn't expecting THAT to happen.

Mika pulled specific people onto the stage, about 3 people? And within a few seconds there was about 10 altogether. I was wondering whether to go on myself, but decided against it seeing as he only wanted a select few up there. And Sara is right I think, when she says it was more about interacting with the crowd in general rather than just us MFCers. He didn't ignore us in the slightest, but it did feel as though the club was special to him in a way.

About the picking up...that's what I found shocking, not necessarily people crowding him on stage and wanting to kiss him or whatever. The guy that picked him probably had good intentions, wanted to treat Mika like a King or something, but he picked him up by the legs and as we know, Mika is a very tall guy and there was probably a weight/height issue going on. Before I knew it Mika was descending BACKWARDS towards the crowd (Sara, Jennie and I) and he was literally inches away from hitting his head on the barriers. The three of us put our hands out to try and protect his head in case he did hit it, but luckily it didn't. I was horrified at the thought that Mika could have really hurt himself. Vix, who was on stage, said he looked fine and happy until he started going back, she said he looked a bit worried which is no surprise really.

I know the guy was probably drunk and excited and whatever, but health and safety issues!

I was glad I wasn't up there to be honest, I didn't want to be associated with it, but a part of me wishes I was on there to try and help prevent it from happening, because I wouldn't have taken that lying down. I was screaming at them (not that they could hear me) but they were being so innappropriate.

Well, what's done is done and nothing can be changed, but it's still upsetting. For me anyway.

Maybe if I watch it on YouTube I'll realise that perhaps it wasn't as bad as I'm making it sound, but seeing that happen right in front of your eyes, having Mika fall backwards right in front of your face, was pretty surprising. I think I actually shouted "OH. MY. GOD."

    Anyway, that aside, awesome gig!

But I was concerned about Mika.

After finding my way out I saw Mika was with a crowd. I managed to call out his name and ask him if he was okay after the lollipop incident. He said he was, so thank God for that. I have that on video.

anyway, I've taken tons of videos and whatever, so I'll be mashing them up together to make a V-Log.

sounds like you had amazing time :biggrin2::biggrin2: and i hope you are feelig a bit better today:wub2: are you?? thanks so much for the report and i cant wait to see you pics etc. x
