I couldn't buy tickets through the presale, it says none are available!!!

It is so nice here in Vigevano. The venue is like a courtyard, the stage surrounded by buildings. I think it will feel like a very intimate gig.

Today at 1pm there were three girls queueing for James Morrisson. They said they were crazy but they do it all the time. I thought, you don't know what crazy is They said they are going to Mika tomorrow and will queue for him also. At 6pm when the gates opened there was about 30-40 people there, the gate was opened and they went in one at a time. It was very organised and civilised. I hope it is like this tomorrow.

 

I'm really looking forward to this having seen the venue and look forward to seeing more MFCers.

when i was walking around the concert was already happening so i couldnt go in, but it looks nice from the outside. and i didnt get bitten by any mosquitoes when i was out tonight hehe.

In Vienne, queuing ended up being a bit silly, because as people have mentioned, it was easy to just walk up the sides. Also, there was so much space in the venue you didnt even have to queue all day to be close (you couldnt be AT the stage, but very very near without queuing). I will probably be exploring the town in the morning and showing up in the afternoon sometime. theres not much to see here, so i think the morning is enough for sightseeing.

i hear from locals that the mosquitoes are horrible! im sure we wont even notice once mika takes the stage though =D

ok, i'll just order 2 packs then (=10 glasses), and bring them to vigevano... if you know what i look like, please ask me when you see me, since i'm really bad at recognizing people. i'll try to find you too though, probably in the afternoon when most are queuing already.

akasaka, you're coming over from california for the gig, or do you live in italy atm? i guess we haven't met yet, but many of the regular gig-goers know me, so if you just ask those at the front for mellody, i guess you'll find me.

I think we may have actually met at Mika's concerts in California (los angeles and oakland) a few years ago, if I remember correctly.

are you going there from Califonia?

i am already in europe for holidays, but I normally live in california.

Woo, finally booked a place! I think I got the last single in the hotel il chiostro. Now to figure out my transportation to italy.......

Yeah, the queue shenanigans were a bummer! But all-in-all, awesome venue, he sounded great and in WAG, when he had us sing, he looked SO impressed. lol. he started laughing and had his adorable smile.

bad part for me: I left my backpack in an MFCers car! aaah! hope to get it in oakland tomorrow......

so my brother cut me a deal....he's going to the mika concert but it means i have to go to the cal football game. so guess i won't be lining up until....idk, 5? 6? its worth it to get him to go too!

sooo soon! realized the palladium is pretty close to the metro, so i'm taking the train and then the metro instead of driving. yay for public transit...and maybe getting there a little later, but that's ok.

I figure since I'm getting to the la venue early i won't wait as long in oakland. my trip is also to visit my bro in berkeley so i can't ditch him all day. lol

I was planning on getting there around 10-11...? But I want to know what everyone else is doing before I decide!

i went to goodwill today and found a spaceman costume! but....i didn't want to shell out the money for it yet. so if he says space i'll be wearing a costume made for a 10 year old! lol. still fits kinda....if not, ill do black and white I guess. and wear my colorful outfit in oakland.

I just realized i have a gold thingy AND some black and white clothes! I'll just stick a bunch of different outfits in my car. lol.

I lined up for the Roxy gig at around 3 pm, and I was like the 30-40th person in line. Were you at the beginning of the line? Did you get into the front row? I got into the 2nd row. Am going to try to be there in the early afternoon, but not sure exactly when. And does anyone know which entrance is the right one?

 

yeah, i was i think the 14th or 15th person. and yep, front row. he. was. so. close!! lol

Yeah, I want to know when everyone's going to start lining up. Want to know when I should head out there as well. And do we know which entrance we're going to be lining up in front of? I was scrolling through the other pages of the thread and I guess there are 2 entrances, a front and side entrance. Anyone know which one's the right one?
