  1.

if you're going by train/ underground... from London Liverpool Street station, you gotta get to the underground and get on either the Circle Line or the Hammersmith & City line. these should both take you to the Hammersmith Station, and it's (i think) a ten/ fifteen mintue walk on from there.

    xx

No circle line this weekend (its been that way for about a year now) but all lines going to hammersmith are working...hammersmith and city line, district and piccadilly so it shouldnt be a big problem for everyone.:thumb_yello:

    yep!

I dont remember what they did in 02

There will be a clockroom to put stuff :biggrin2:

  2. Ahhh its only a few days away now.Im so excited. Unfortunatly i wont be near the front this time only being able to queue for a few hours. I just need to decide what merchandise i want from the stand. Oh to all you londoners that use oyster cards there are the most amazing mika oyster card holders. They are gona sell like hot cakes in london!

  3. Yeah I'm driving back from Birmingham on the Thursday and staying until Monday and driving back up to Uni then.

Btw - I'm thinking of staying over in Manchester, do you and Jenny wanna share a family room? I thought I'd mention it cos I know you're gonna be staying over and frankly I can't be bothered with rushing around for last trains, especiall if that one turns out to be a bit epic.

Lemme know if you fancy it and I'll get it sorted - it'd be about a tenner each.

Ive sent you a PM :thumb_yello:

  4. It is a BIT silly - I'm doing 7 then going to Vienna at the end of March, I will be doubling my gigs al in the space of about 6 weeks. It's amazing, haha. I don't think I'll do THAT many again, though who knows. I'll see how destroyed I am by the end of it.

Where abouts are you from? Are you London or is that just the nearest one?

Wow 7!! I dont blame you though. If i was still a student and had just got my loan through i would def go and see mika as many times as possible.

By the way laura are you staying at your parents after the hammersmith gig??

  5. It has disadvantages too - everyone in my flat's got a grant from the government because their parents aren't on London wages like mine are. PFFFT.

GOD dont even get me started on that. I never got a grant either:mad3:

    Anyway happy thoughts....Mika :wub2::wub2:

  6. Aaaw, Brixton was your first?

Hammersmith's slightly smaller that Brixton I think, and it's quicker to get to as well. You can just get the Hammersmith and City to Liverpool Street. My friend Emma is coming but I think she'll be popping along later cos she works on Sundays. Maybe I'll tell her to get the day off cos I'll be down there early-ish and if she's not she can't get front row with me because that would count as her pushing in. Pssht. She's having the day off, I'm sure Tesco will manage without her.

Yeah, French wedding it is. Cos it spans over the weekend so you know, it's believable. And they don't check for lectures but it's two workshops and one little class type thing, I dunno what it is cos I haven't been to one yet, but 10% of my creative writing mark is participation and if I miss 25% of workshops or more I drop a whole grade at the end of the year.

But I'm only planning on missing 2. So that's ok.

:roftl:Well if its easier to get to that's good with me. I remember for the Brixton gig we had to get a bus because the tube wasn't running. Fun times :biggrin2:Oh cool, the more people the better. Does Kevin know by the way?? Im sure we would come to the London gig - and stage invade!! :naughty:.

I also have to get the day off work :(. Im just going to book the tickets tomorrow then hope when I go into work later that i can get the day off. If not I may make up an excuse about a french wedding :roftl:

Gosh it sounds like they keep track of everyone at your uni. In mine everyone just came and went.lol.

  7. Yeah, I suppose that's always the case isn't it? I had kind of resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't be going to Bloomsbury Ballroom then my best friend text me about 10 o'clock sunday night saying Mika had just tweeted that he'd be holding some tickets back on the door so I ran back to my flat to sort things out and Sarah sent me a message asking me if I wanted one of her spare wristbands so that was the decider really. :aah:

So glad I went - the train was mega expensive though, advanced bookings are my friend.

:thumb_yello:I glad you went too!! :biggrin2:. Ive been looking at hotels, and im surprised to find out they are cheaper than I first thought. Happy days :biggrin2: Manchester here I come.

  8. It honestly depends on how late - I need to be able to get the tube back AND I have to get up early to drive up to Crewe the next day - I have to be there at 9am, which means leaving at 6 at the latest.

OMG I might just skip the Monday morning. I'm skipping the Thursday and Friday before it, I might just say I'm going to a wedding or something and it's in France or some sh*t like that.

So yes, I will be partying with you.

MFC is bad for my education.

Well im defiantly going to this gig :biggrin2:. I cant wait. And its exactly 2 years since my first mika gig :wub2:, i just wish it could be at brixton again, that would be amazing.

Hehe Laura, im liking the french wedding idea. Though seriously do uni even check?? They never did with me.

  9. Ermmm I say it wouldn't be any more than two hours, but most probably less. It's about a hundred miles. Jennie's in Chelmsford isn't she? If we leave at 11.30 (could be earlier, could be a bit later depending on how soon he gets his bum out the venue) we'll PROBABLY be back by about 1.30 - there's no traffic that time of night so it could be a fair bit quicker.

Thanks for the offer Laura.:biggrin2:Ive just spoken to Jenny. And due to the fact that we don't have much money at the moment, we are going to have to miss out on Birmingham. Thanks so much for the offer though :thumb_yello::biggrin2:

  10. Excellent. :biggrin2: OMG I'm so excited.

YOU'RE DOING MANCHESTER? OMFG EXCELLENT. Do Birmingham as well cos I'm driving back HOME home afterwards so I can drop you and Jennie home if you come to that.

Yep we are doing Manchester :biggrin2:, it would be the first time we have seen mika outside London. The prob with Birmingham is that its a thursday, Jenny has work the next day, and hopefully I will by then. Will it take very long to drive back from Birmingham to Essex??

Im looking at Manchester hotels now, its so exciting. But London is on a sunday, perfect day for many...but i work that day. Oh well im going to book the tickets tomorrow then worry about getting the time off.lol.

  11. I have lectures! Maybe I'll have to sacrifice front row for that one. But I'll get to hang with you all on the Sunday, right? GOD BLESS SUNDAY. IT IS GOD'S DAY AND HE MADE IT FOR SILLINESS, CONFETTI AND BALLOONS.

    Sh*t I haven't told Sarah and Jennie.

:roftl:We already know, i saw the list just after it went online and have been waiting for jenny to contact me with possible dates we want to do.:biggrin2:

We are doing London (of course) and Manchester.:biggrin2:You at both of them Laura???

Last train is 10 past 10. :sneaky2: That's not nearly good enough. And I've just looked up the one back to Crewe and it's not much better.

I might drive down there. It's about 60 miles from me at the moment and I can drive back home afterwards - I'll be a taxi for those who need to head back to London/Essex way, I don't mind.

Oooohh!! where are you driving back from???

  12. I think the crew are going to do other songs on TBWKTM but Caz and I are just discussing dream ideas for BIOTG: e.g. credit cards in the 20s. :roftl::roftl:

Gosh you two have been nattering!! The thread has seriously grown since i was here last night. By the way, can i be an extra :biggrin2::wink2:

  13. Should we bill Mika for all the carpets that we are wearing out with our pacing?

:roftl:I know. The wait is killing me!!

Have we any idea what time the dates might be announced on Monday?

Well if its on radio one, im assuming it will be on the Chris Moyles show. If so it will be between 8 and 9am. But im not sure, im just guessing :naughty:

  14. Mika please come to Essex :aah:

    *unlikely haha*

Oh well, to London I go! :roftl:

I'm up for that! Brentwood theatre sound good to you?

:roftl: Brentwood Centre :roftl:, or Queen's theatre. Cliffs Pavilion is rubbish!! Bah!!

Im hoping for nottingham and bournmouth and lots of london gigs. Though I probably wont be able to afford them if they are similar prices to the european gigs.

  15. Meh, he might do Nottingham and Bournemouth, you never know. Manchester and Birmingham are handy for me because I live half way between them, and London is just...London really. :biggrin2:

I got an email about tickets for the series in general a few weeks ago and thought 'ooh, Mika might be on that!' but I never found out which show he was going to be on so I couldn't apply for tickets and I didn't want it to end up so I went back to London to a show that he wasn't even on.

BUT I did see him on the telly and it made me smile. :biggrin2:

Yeh Manchester and Birmingham would make sense. I want to go Notts and Bournmouth just because i know people that live there, so could kip on their floor. I need to save as much money as possible.lol.:biggrin2:

Yeah i cant believe i missed the show :(. But its repeated tomorrow so i'm happy :biggrin2:

  16. Well I did. On Twitter, in other MFC threads and coming out in passive aggressive requests for mods to "come clean" about totally unrelated matters yet I fear stem from this situation.

But as Sarah says I'm not trying to turn this into an argument. I've had my say.

And Sarah, as Jazzy said this wasn't directed at you although I felt after a couple of comments in this thread it was a time to say something lest things continue down that road. I wasn't trying to jump down your throat.

No worries christine, forgiven and forgotten:biggrin2::biggrin2:
