  1. Haha I think Mika blanking the one that tried to hug him was karma enough for now; it was on stage as well!!! And he actually looked at her and decided 'no, not you' and then to rub salt in the wound he hugged practically everyone in his path as he went off stage. XD

But they totally will get their come-uppence, I guarantee it. Manners DO mean a lot and people will remember polite people or nice people. People also remember rude people and horrible people, so those two won't get their way, no chance.

exactly! you just talk way too much about these girls, from what i've read about their behavior, they're not not worth your precious time, guys!

and yeah, the way how Mika ignored the girl is embarrassing enough, and if it had ever happened to me (however, i would never put myself in that kind of situation), i'd stay away from Mika and everyone who witnessed the embarrassment.

i was standing somewhere in the middle of the room, had a fantastic view, danced by butt off and had a wonderful time!

  2. at the moment i can not stop listening to toy boy and pick up off the floor. these two are on repeat.

i mean, i can't be objective just yet, cause rain, we are golden, blame it on the girls & dr. john are not new to me, so i don't count these.

i voted for toy boy, i think pick up off the floor is actually winning in my head right now (cause it's on now haha)

  3. the first song i heard was relax (take it easy), and the radio used to play it a LOT, but i kind of never caught the artist's name, and at first i actually thought it's an old song and kept wondering how come suddenly it gets played so often.

and then i was at home watching vh1 and grace kelly came up and i was mesmerized by the video. it was also the first time i heard the song itself. after it finished i went on youtube and searched for this guy named mika and watched grace kelly over and over again. and then i started browsing through other videos and to my big surprise i realized that the song i've been loving for so long without knowing the artist (relax) is by none other than this good lookin' grace kelly dude! ;]

  4. aw the wembley gig was so much fun. i went with my friend and we decided to try and queue early and GOSH was it worth it! front row, baby! front row at the wembley stadium, it's crazy!

before coldplay we got three warm up acts - white lies (they were quite good), girls aloud (gee-zus! they were so horrible & annoying, looking like a bad highschool talent show, but bless their hearts) and jay-z (whom i actually enjoyed, even though it's not the kind of music i usually listen to, but he got us bouncing).

before jay-z i really needed to go and pee, cause i knew i better go before jay-z, so there's enough time for me to come back to the spot i've been standing. boy, was i happy to have so much time to get myself back to the first row, cause people won't let me push through back to my spot, which is understandable, they can't know i've been up on my feet for hours, but i literally almost started crying, when coming back from the bathroom i realized it won't be that easy to get back, as everyone was telling me to stay where i was and not letting me through. thank god i managed with gazillion "sorry! excuse me! and thank yous"

so the gig was fantastic. wasn't the best sound, but it might be because i was standing so close. but it was so amazing, i'm not gonna go into details, but they know what they're doing. oh and i managed to catch will's drum stick! yay for me!

  5. ^i went to see velvet revolver back in umm 2004 or 2005. i think it was '04. it was fun, as i used to have a major crush on slash. wooo!

and yeah, i havent heard the chinese democracy as well, but honestly, to me thats no longer guns n' roses. but i do love the good old gn'r, the old tunes are great!

  6. i saw him live in a concert in 1997, HIStory tour. i was just 12 but i still remember every single thing. it was magical!

and i've seen him a couple of times here in london, and once got to actually speak to him for a minute or two. he was the loveliest person i have ever met, so nice and caring. and there's loads of people i've talked to who actually knew michael, like his nephew at neverland, and they shared such amazing stories about michael that made me love him even more. ooh boy, honestly, i could go on and on and on about michael for hours, days, months. in fact i could turn any conversation into a conversation about michael haha a bit pathetic, i know, but heck how much i love that man. i actually got a tattoo of his name in his handwriting on his birthday.

and about everybody suddenly loving micheal, I sorta agree but I also think that the more people who love michael and see him as the good person he is, the better right.. so they can defend him :wink2:

yeah, true, but how long is it gonna last. three months? a year?i dunno.. the next die michael passed i had people calling me and telling me how sorry they were that michael jackson, the king of pop, the great humanitarian had died. but most of them were calling him names before his death. so yeah, it's good that people are actually realizing that he was no weirdo, but i believe that all the negativity from the people and the media can be blamed for michael's death. i mean, for the last two decades he's been put through soooo much crap, i mean how much can one man take? hence all the troubles with the medication and ish. honestly, if i was him, i'd probably had died a long time ago..

    bless his soul.

  7. ok, i HAD to bring this thread back to life.

rufus wainwright is so talented it's not even funny.

and i went from not knowing who he was to singing along his songs at a concert in two weeks. i fell in love with his music over one night and knew i had to go and see him live as fast as i could. and i did. he's just amazing! wooo rufus! and he's so very charming!

  8. ooooooh i'm a huge fan of coldplay, right after yellow came out i fell in love with chris's voice! love that dude. and i'm seeing them on friday at wembley, i'm so excited! will probably try and get a ticket for saturday as well.

  9. the gig was absolutely amazing, such energy, such great atmosphere! it was brilliant! and it being at such a small venue made it extra special. it was my very first mika gig, so im no longer a mika virgin haha

and it seemed like mika enjoyed the gig a lot, and i think people worrying about the "accident" during lollipop worry a bit too much. mika never stoppped smiling and he never got hurt, so it was all good!

and his voice live is incredible! loved rain and blame it on the girls - can't get these two out of my head!

  10. oh wow that's so sweet to see so many michael fans on here!

i've loved michael since the age of 8 (im 24 now) never stopped. since i was about 15 i fell in love with the person he was and i still think of him as the love of my life. the night he died i honeslty felt like a huge part of me died with him, and i still cry a bit every single day. but at the same time i feel so blessed to have been able to love such an amazing man, i got to see him perform, i got to actually meet & talk to him. for me he is so much more than the king of pop, to be honest, i didn't really listen to michael's music for the last couple of years, but never a day went by without me thinking of him, the same way i think of my parents and other loved ones.

and i've had people i love die before, but it has never taken me so long to mourn someone. i just think it's absolutely unfair, and i can't help but think of michael's mom katherine, prince, paris & blanket.

oh and honestly, i actually hate that everyone now suddenly loves michael, there's michael's music, books and posters everywhere. where were all these michael lovers on june 24th? i say screw 'em!

  11. hi everyone. just thought i'd say hi, as i just joined today, even though i've been lurking for a couple of months ;]

i've been a fan of mika since the first time i heard relax on the radio, without even knowing who's singing the tune. and then the first time i saw grace kelly on vh1 i was hooked. his energy is amazing!

whenever i need a cheer-up, all i gotta do is put on life in cartoon motion and my mood is back up and i feel like dancing. i truly think mika is one of the greatest popstars there is. i'm not a huge fan of current pop music (i honestly can't stand lady gaga, i know mika finds her amazing, but i've got a serious problem with her), but mika is doing an amazing job with his upbeat melodies that are miles away from the annoying popmusic we hear today. i think (and i know you all do as well) that he's fabulastically brilliant!

i just saw him perform for the first last friday at the popstarz @ scala. enjoyed every second of it, love the way he moves and the atmosphere was amazinh! and i was one of the lucky ones to go and party at the ground floor in london. one of the best nights ever! thanks mika!
