  1. before the show we tried helping the management find big girls... its not that nice asking people to do that but we tried... one of the ones i talked to did it and after the show she didnt seem that excited about it... the other one also... i would be in the clouds if i was them! pffft

Hey, I was the last big girl left at the meet & greet. Don't worry, we were all super excited, but I'm really shy and after all the other girls left, there was no one else I knew so I was being quiet.

Plus I think we had spent all of our energy being shrieky fangirls backstage. We were back there for a few hours, after all, and going "OH MY GODDDD" every thirty seconds for two and a half hours can get tiring. :aah:

I found two of the other girls on Facebook and I can tell you, they're still pretty much reeling from it as well. We're all really grateful for the experience! :biggrin2:

  2. Does anyone have any pictures from Big Girl? I was one of the big girls and I'm unsure of the camera situation, like if any of us had friends in the crowds with cameras, so the only pictures I know exist are the ones we took while waiting around backstage.

I'm waiting to connect with the other girls on Facebook because I forgot the surnames of two of them *facepalm* but when I finally get in touch with them, I'm sure they'd like to see any pictures as well! =)

Anyway, I have a picture of me with Mika too but it's sort of bad quality because I only had my cell phone to take pictures with *facepalm again*.

  3. Hello, I'm Kenna.

I've been a fan of Mika since about June 2007 when I accompanied my friend to his show at the Fillmore in San Francisco. I went with her just so she'd have someone to go with, and of course I had no idea who he was at the time but I fell in love pretty much immediately after he set foot on stage.

Even though I've been a pretty big fan for a while, I never really joined here because you all seemed so close and as I'm sure some of you know, trying to join new forums and fandoms sometimes feels a bit like butting into a conversation at a party...

Anyway, what finally convinced me to join was meeting some of the members from here at the show in Oakland on Saturday night. I was one of the big girls at the show, and so the other girls and I were given wristbands for the meet & greet, but all the other girls ended up having to leave early, which left me pretty much alone and awkward in the corner. But I had been grouped in with the MFC members and they all made me feel welcome and comfortable, which was really amazing. :)

Sometimes I get really wordy, so I'll stop there before I write a freaking novel. I look forward to getting to know some of you in the future!
