  1. In italian Itunes Kick Ass album does not exists... and actually also the movie does not exist here.

Anyway recently in italian Itunes is avalaible the single of Kick Ass.

On the cover of the single is written Kick Ass by Mika and Red One, "label" 2010 Movie Favorites.

    So i bought.

The arrangement is very similar but different, and also the choir with falsetto voice.

But the voice of M with "normal" deep voice (not falsetto: i can make it better... take a chance for me..) is different

Maybe it is a fake. Or a remix so remixed that you can hardly recognize the voice

And there are a lot of oh oh oh oh oh oh.

So, a very bad version!!! :boxed:

    For people with Itunes installed.

Go in Itunes store, select the italian flag in "Change Country" and go in italian store, search Kick Ass, click single from 2010 Movie Favorites, and then click "Anteprima".

All it is very odd.

   Is that even him?!? :boxed:

  2. Here's Festi'Neuch's blog on Mika's performance :biggrin2:

''First evening Festin'neuch: this is done, and done well! At least in my opinion! This post is dedicated to Mika, whose arrival has caused all sorts of discussions and comments. One side al'artiste the incredible voice, compared to Freddie Mercury's voice and her sense of the show. On the other hand, the commercial pop singer, heard and heard again until more envy. So I can express myself in my own name, but looks like the other: I likey!

First, some of his songs remind me of special moments: a beautiful wedding where they had danced and sang through the night, a very nice evening at the Harvest Festival, or children who whoop during the boom of their colonial, for example. Music is also the emotions that are created and that connects to memories, no?

Then, almost everyone knows Mika and its catchy chorus: it repeated in chorus to the bottom of the tent last night! With its high-pitched voice is not singing always fair, but together and with all his heart! Music is also a way to bring people together: yesterday evening there were children, youth, old, gay, straight and who knows what else!

I watched the concert with the friends: a young mother, an artist, a psychologist, a future teacher ... It was rather the back of the tent, and yet there was a crazy atmosphere! It felt like seeing the enthusiasm of our 15 years, sang and cheered as loud we laughed like little girls! The music, it is also just relax sometimes ...

There were perhaps a bit too many feathers and staging for some, others treat it as a hypocrite when he says that he and his team are excited to start their season of festivals here in Neuchatel. The fact is that he set fire to the Jeunes-Rives with his troupe, they have not hesitated to take a bit of fun and audience participation: what anyone says, the atmosphere was the rendezvous!

Me, me it does not take much for a nice evening, a nice concert, a good time!

And frankly, that Mika is better than the shirt-tail-coats?''

  3. ok, its kinda specific:aah:

I'm looking for this video.. It's BIOTG live. He sings in a very small venur and people keep talking and hes like "sshhhh" and he asks the crowd to hum before the music starts and he says: Youre actually in tune!

And he seperates the audience in 2 and imma even goes down in the crowd too...

I think it was shot before Christmas...

    anyone?

Was it this? At Baden Baden? Except it doesn't have the 'sshhh' bit in it... :dunno:

  4. Here is my report from Istanbul May 29, 2010:

I got to Küçükçiftlik Park around 7 pm and caught the ending set of Phenomenal Handclap band (pretty good), and then caught up with Pinar and her two friends who were front and center, right behind the fence. I wore my Mika shirt from Italy and Pinar and one of her friends had cool Mika style sequins on their faces.

We (not so patiently) waited for Mika to come on stage, intermittently chanting MIKA MIKA MIKA!! Then the act opening for Mika came on - The Ravonettes - and it was so boring I think we would have fallen asleep/left if it wasn't for the anticipation of Mika coming up next. I kept LOLing because after The Ravonettes finished each song, some guys behind me kept saying "Goodbye! Bye!". Hahha. Then, they played a song called "Last Song", and when they didn't leave the stage after that, I grumbled that that had been false advertising. :P Then, they finally announced it was their final song, and the crowd CHEERED. Not a good sign, methinks? Basically, they were the complete opposite of Mika in terms of stage presence. They had none.

Finally, around 11 pm, Mika came out, bouncing on stage, wearing white skinny jeans, a red and white striped shirt, and a coat, which he soon took off due to the sweltering heat that is Istanbul. He also had some really sweet sparkley shoes.

Here are the songs that I can remember that he played (definitely not in order of appearance, as I can't remember such things):

    Relax

    Lollipop

    Big Girl

    Love Today

    Rain

    Blame it on the Girls

    Dr. John

    Billy Brown

    Blue Eyes

    We are Golden

    Stuck in Middle

    Happy Ending

After Mika left the stage, a recording of Kick Ass came on and the band danced on stage.

    Highlights of the concert:

Mika attempting to speak Turkish. I was really impressed, because from what I could tell, all the phrases and words Mika was saying were entirely from memory. At one point he was trying to introduce the guitarist, and then laughed and said he couldn't remember how to say it. I have to say his pronunciation was pretty bad (All the Turkish people were turning to each other and asking what he said after he said something, haha), but I was surprised he remembered so much.

During one song, Mika stopped and went around and "killed" all his band members by pointing his fingers into the shape of a gun at them. When he got to Cherise, everyone was screaming for him not to do it, so he turns to us and nods like ok, I won't do it, and puts the gun down, only to mime pulling out an axe or something and killing her that way. After all his band members were laying on the stage, he turns to us and says "I'm sorry, I've been very rude." Then he mimes picking up the gun again, shoots himself, and falls to the floors. He starts the next song lying on the ground like that.

One of my favorite parts of the night was his performance of "We are Golden", cuz it really seemed like he connected with the audience on it, and really enjoyed singing it.

Overall excellent concert and I can't wait for the next one. :)

Mika's stage presence and singing was just as good as ever, complete with lots of crazy jumping and bouncing around, in patented Mika fashion. The whole concert went by much too quickly, and I just wanted more Mika after it finished. haa. And then Pinar got to meet him, lucky girl! But I'm veryyy happy for her. I also took some photos, which I think Pinar has up on her twitter. And I took videos, which Ill try to upload soon.

And the last thing I want to say is:

Thank you Mika. See you next time. :)

Wow! Thank you for your report! :wub2:
