I don't have any doodles/autographs or anything but after June 16th I will! :3 Hopefully.

Music

So yay we're (hopefully!) going to be making Mika a professionalish CD, handmade by us. ^-^; The key thing to remember for this is that it should be homemade but well made :> So anything you submit needs to be good quality! (Not studio quality, but as long as the sound is clear; we don't want to hurt his ears. )

Anyway basically the CD is split into two parts. Part 1 is music by MFCers (covers of his songs, or your own original songs, or covers of songs that you/mika likes). Part 2 is the skit/story.

To submit something:

- send an email to crazy_olly@hotmail.com

- make sure you include your MFC name

- attach the file(s) you are submitting! XD

Part 1 - Music

To give you an idea of what you can submit:

- can be in English or Chinese or any language you want really c:!

- Can be instrumental, vocal or both

- Can be whole song or part

- Record yourself shouting "You are golden/Mika is golden!"

- record yourself saying 我爱你! or 我爱米卡 or something like that. Cantonese or mandarin is fine

- If you don't play an instrument/don't want to sing, you can submit spoken parts like the chorus of we are golden, or the clapping part in BIOTG.

- Unlimited submissions

...basically you can submit anything you like xD

The deadline for music submissions is also 25 May because I have exams and so the deadline needs to be early D: Sorryyyyy! :c Pleasepleaseplease submit stuff? D: Otherwise the CD won't be possible :c

Part 2 - Story

We will be using all of Mika's characters to narrate a story throughout the CD. These are the characters:

- lollipop girl

- big girl

- billy brown

- mrs. brown/billy brown's kids/billy brown's dog

- dr. john

- one foot boy

- toy boy

- four mubbins (mubbina, drinky, narco, astor)

- good gone girl

After all the music submissions are in, we can start to write a script to link it all together, and then all the HK MFCers will record the different speaking parts needed for the CD

This part is not yet open for submission. It all depends on whether I get enough music submissions to continue with this one :c

I'm usually only free on friday afternoons + saturdays D:! but my prom/graduation ball is on 23rd of april ;~;

i dun think we should abandon the music part so early XD

no worries olly u'll start receiving submissions from may, as april is the meanest time for universities/ hkcee/ hkale students like us XD

Anyway like Sui said usually the weather in june is hot + VERY humid (I'm not sure what it's like in Korea usually, but 90% humidity and above is normal for hong kong in summer). but the weather has been weird this year, so maybe in june it'll be dry?

hmm i think i should post few lines about our MIKEA project here

(unfortunately my notes for it was lost aft my mom's house clean up

so all things below are from my memory, pls tell me if i've made anything wrong/ missing )

 

we've decided to turn our MIKEA book into a "home", we'll divide the whole book into several rooms (sessions).

Kitchen - A Session for all recipes/ photos of Hong Kong/ Chinese dishes!

Closet - Self made mix & match collages for mika (:

Mirror - Our doodles/ scribbles on MIKA's face

Bedroom - Our photo messages!

Backyard - A session for y'all putting all his pets/ lovely animals in!

Music Studio - I'll move Olly's music session here!

Art studio - Session for our artwork.

That is such a good idea about turning it into a home, I love it! I was going to suggest bedtme stories for bedroom but I think that's maybe too similar to the dark fairytales for his birthday present. c:

also about the music section...should we just abandon it entirely? I didn't get any submissions haha ;n;

it shouldn't be! i prefer standing as i love queuing and jumping in his gig!

I know, the seated venue really sucks plus I'm kind of scared that people from the back will kind of just get up from their seats and go stand at the front...hopefully they won't do that?? & I wish our seats were closer to the rest of yours'! D:

I'm thinking I'll maybe go early to the venue even if it is seated. if i can convince my friend to go with me. I want to go and get my merch, the one good thing about seats is that you can leave all your belongings on the seat xD

oh, maybe you can give me advice to which hotel I could stay?

not to expensive, nice and comfy and not to far away from the venue (perhaps)

hi! ^-^; the password for the hk ticketing mfc exclusive presale was ;aldfhladfhlas. but I think that presale ended already? as far as I know tickets are open to the public already, so I'm not sure if the priority booking thing still exists :S good luck though!

The ticketing system is driving me mad. It says the best sections now available are BLUE Section 3,4,5,6,7 . But the S3,4,5,6,7 are in little red/pink blocks. If I buy BLUE Section 5, will I get the S5 in pink???

Yup, the coloured seat map shown on the hk ticketing website shows S3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in red on the diagram but when you actually come to choose which section you want it says "Blue" which is a bit odd. They seem to be the same thing, as long as the section number matches up I guess !

I ended up being too late for the presale ( I wish I had my own credit card but for some odd reason you need an actual income to get one of those! ) so I went to tom lee and got tickets in row A, section 7...so it's quite far away from the stage but at least that fixes the problem of having to tiptoe to see past tall people
