Jimmy is lovely!

Met him at Sunrise and he spoke to us for a while about what he'd done in sydney, shopping etc.

Then at the Mika meet & greet we spoke to him more. we spoke to him a few times that night cos he was pretty funny and good to talk to

befre we left i told him about my tow truck fine that i got for parking infront of the venue and he signed it for me.

on the way home we ended up having a car crash (which i found random after speaking about the fine) so i tweeted him and he actually replied back asking if we were fine which was nice of him.

anyway to my point

jimmy = fantastic musician! can't wait to hear more from him!

oh btw, his name on the setlist says "jimmy sucks" because i told him thats what his signature looked like on something else as a joke and he actually wrote it.

ah yes, boy do i remember.

 

at that point i felt so hopeless, so cut off from the world.. like everything to do with Mika wasnt really real.

 

i should have known better.. i'm a very determined person, and i always get there in the end. BUT. this is not a end. this is a BEGINNING. Because on my way back to where i was staying in the wee hours of this morning, i realised, i'm going to do this all my life. I'm always going to go see Mika as long as he keeps performing. The MFCers, the gig, MIKA .. i havent been so happy in a long time.. i waited and saved so hard for this concert.

 

I really hope Mika comes to NZ, if he doesnt, I'm already working out how much I need to save each week to have enough money to come back to Australia by October next year

Ah, so what happened after I left? Did you guys stay long? And, what, you never saw him leave?

 

As for Suzan, I think his mum loved it when she said "I love Mika" in Arabic. His mum was so cool, and really friendly. I think she kinda felt bad that Mika didnt stay around for long, but in fairness he'd been there all day and so would have been exhausted (not to mention the international flight today).

I think we stayed for half an hour more.

No we saw him leave but we were speaking to his mum about waiting hours to meet him on Monday and how we didn't get a chance that night and she said he's going to come back upstairs. I don't think she realised he had actually left. Doesn't matter, still a great night!

Yeah, as everyone said, it was a really cool night. I particularly thought Orianthi was awesome! She sang Michael Jackson's 'Give In To Me' and spoke a bit about meeting him etc.

 

As for Mika, the show rocked! The "Big Girls" also did an amazing job!

 

Afterwards, the meet and greet was good. It was cool to be there with the band, and his mum, but Mika himself only came out for 10 minutes or so to sign autographs and then he left. Personally, I got a cd signed, but I didnt really get to say a word to him. His mum was cool though, and a few of us spoke to her for a bit.

 

I'm sure everyone's looking forward to his next Australian tour

My friend and I made a poster of a boy that said "blame it on the boys" and during the song he took it off us and danced a bit with it (and rubbed it between his legs? haha)

But I was in shock so didn't take pics. hopefully someone managed to get some.
