Lovely pics. I love horses. Always have. I just got back into taking lessons, and they're telling me, "Be AGGRESSIVE! Show that pony who's boss! That wasn't a tap! That was a LOVE tap! That wasn't even a tap!" And I realized that riding isn't for me. I don't like kicking him and whipping him. I guess I'm just too gentle for horseback riding LOL. But I still want to take horsemanship lessons and groom the horses. I want to have a miniature horse someday and groom him and show him. They're so cute.

I'm from Los Angeles, California. Beautiful weather, lots of tourist attractions, overall a great place to live. But life is really fast-paced and stressful, land prices are sky-high, and people can be really mean here sometimes. Oh, and delicious fruit. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but moved away when I was little. Lovely place, from what I remember of it and what I've heard of it. But it's very segregated. You have it so black people live on one side of the street, Jewish people live on the other. If you cross to the other side you could get shot. Italians here, Muslims there. That's why we moved to Tuscon, Arizona when I was 2. I lived there until I was 4. It was a nice place. Deserts as far as the eye can see. I would go exploring them with my dad. I remember playing in the monsoons. But I could only go out in the early morning or in the late evening, because it was boiling hot there. On your average day, temperatures were above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This little girl who lived across the street from me, Audrey, she was only two years older than me, and her skin was absolutely fried. I'm lucky my mom kept me inside while it was hot out; now, as a teenager/young adult, I have no skin damage. Let's see.. I've been to Utah. Nice place, if a little bit cold. But maybe that's just 'cause I'm from California. Iowa. Lush and green, probably my favorite midwestern state. Annnnddd South Dakota. My mom came from there. It seems to be like 20 years behind the rest of the world. But I've heard that life is more relaxing and land is cheaper there. So I don't know. I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

Ok peeps so I decided not to go to work

 

Oh my God what an amazing experience !

Arrived at 4PM in front of the sporting entry at monaco where 5 people were already waiting , met polysemia and elaire ( you were incredible girls ! ). Then we tried to go near the sporting by passing through the hotel , but were soon followed by some security guards and very kindly rebuffed outside , we heard mika repeating GK and were frustrated a bit : We wanted to meet him before the gig , thought we'll get there before him but it seems that he arrived there very early even if he was in Bayonne the night before !

We decided not to wait standing outside and went to have a drink somewhere in monaco to sit , we couldn't find any place near the venue so we had to walk to the casino and soon our feet started aching , with the hot weather and the tight shoes we was wearing...an hour after we got back to the queue who was getting bigger and realized we were like the only people fully dressed ! we took their warnings on the ticket too seriously !

after an hour waiting under the sun , hey opened the front doors and we headed to another waiting line just in front of the sporting and we waited...

people kept arriving by cars , leaving them to Valet parking...we were in front of the queue , and while waiting I saw at the end of the queue Mrs penniman talking with fans , I understood what was happening and told the girls with me that I wanted to talk to her and if they wanted to come with me...they didn't. So I went to see mrs penniman and asked her very kindly if we could meet Mika at the end of the gig , and talked with her in lebanese with my most angelic face to convince her she was impressed and asked me if I wanted to go on stage with Mika and , of course , I said yesssssss

and here I was separated from the girls and went backstage with other fans the big girls and lollipops and 3 other guys. Mrs penniman was an impressive woman , very nice and kept telling us what to do , we trained for a kind of walk with the boys holding a giant puppet (I tought it was a squeleton but i was wrong) then we went to the dressing room upstairs in a room full of sweet and chocolate and sodas where we changed our clothes and left our stuff and had a nice chat !

While waiting outside for the girls to change , I met David and Jimmy (who was in a hurry nearly in underwear ) met mika's manager and the stunning Yasmine , such a beautiful girl , we tried our walk on stage wich was veryyyyy small , and I met Mika almost face to face , he looked at me smiled and said "salut" I was like and said in a mezmerized voice "hello".

then we were conducted to the pit where the audience as patiently waiting , mika arrived and started with Relax. Some people were really really posh standing like idiots , without moving or singing ,with a stony face I wanted to punch them , they insenced me grrrrr

our grooup stayed together as we were to be called at the end of BIOTG to go backstage and prepare our walk , we kept dancing and yelling and singing and Mika noticed us from the stage !

After Relax , he did : big girls (were he asked the big girls to go on stage , with their ponchos on ) , blue eyes , stuck in the midlle , (not sure of the order of the songs) rain , GK, BIOTG , touches you which was incredile !!! and la solitude , AOW , HE , OMS (not sure i was backstage at this time) , LT , WAG , DJ and lollipop !

at the end we got backstage and the boys dressed in ponchos and wear animal masks , I took the elephant mask we joined mika on stage for lollipop and danced , it was awesome !!!

then the gig was over and we went backstage to our dressing room where we changed , had a drink , yasmine came in to tell us we were incredible and everything , she was so sweet !!! John came and took our tickets to get them signed by mika ! and returned them back and he took us to his lobby , we waited outside and he came out and took pictures with us asked each one of us where we came from and everything , and I told him that we love him , he smiled , he told us that we saved the gig , that if we haven't been there the gig would have been like "a queue in an airport" , he wasn't impressed by the audience !

I asked Mika's mum if there will be a meeting with fans outside she told us yes. Then we got out of the sporting to see that there was some fans waiting for mika along with elaire and polysemia , we waited there , my ankle was aching me so much , as i was jumping to rain i twisted it . we waited like for 2 hours but mika didn't got out , I'm so sorry for Elaire who wanted to give Mika a gift !

Then I got back home to Nice with Benjamin who was the pig that got kissed by mika during lollipop LOL and that's it ! it was amazing but my ankle hurts me , i'm off the doctor , the doctor is in need of a doctor

I never imagined for a second before that night , that i was about to live one of the best nights in my life !

Hello everybody

 

as I don't speak English, this is my fist report in this language (thank you mari62 for translating).

 

Nothing peculiar had happened to me at former gigs, a part from Mika saying to me "Nice to see you again" both in Milan and Rome

But after this show something very special happened, that made my daughter and me very very happy and I'd like to share my happiness with you

 

My elder daughter, Eleonora (Topi85) comes almost always with me, on the contrary the younger one (Elisabetta - Betta89) can't always make it, due to school/university and to her disability: she's blind.

 

In 2007 in Bologna Mika did a signature to them, but since then Elisabetta had no chance to meet him again, so she was so looking forward to it!!

 

Recently I got to know that Mika meets the disabled after every gig, so in Rome, when we saw Mrs P. while queuing up, Marina asked her if Elisabetta could have a chance to meet Mika in Udine (she wasn't in Rome). Mrs P. replied she would come out in the afternoon on the next day and would look for her.

 

In Udine unfortunately I didn't see Mrs P in the afternoon, and when I got to know that LGs and BGs had already been chosen, we're sad, coz we thought that she had forgotten about her (we all know she's very busy).

 

So I tried to comfort Elisabetta saying that Mrs P would probably come out afterwards.

 

The show was amazing as usual, although the disabled area was far from stage and we hadn't a great view from there.

 

After the show we hoped Mrs P. came inside looking for us, but she didn't, so we went out and stand in line waiting for Mika with the other fans.

 

First we're told that he'd sign and make pics, later that he was tired and wouldn't sign, but just greet.

 

Mika arrived and started going along the line; the car had stopped near to us and when I saw his mum inside, I waved to her and she waved back, then I saw her talking to someone and right afterwards John arrived and asked who was Mrs P's girl.

 

When Mika came closer to us, John pointed at my daughter, so Mika said hi to me and I told him that that was "my daughter" (one of the few English words I know ).

 

Elisabetta was very excited and handed him a gift and the tour book I got in Paris: he asked for a pen, since he didn't have anything to sign with; when he was given a felt tip he said he wanted a pen not a felt tip.

 

When they gave it to him, he asked her her name, but she was so excited, that I had to speak at her place.

As he was pressing the pen on the sheet so much while writing, I thought that the pen wasn't working; at first I didn't realize that he was doing it on purpose, so that Elisabetta could read/feel the signature with her fingers (I was excited as well). That made me realize that his mum had told him about her coz he knew she was blind.

 

While signing and writing her name down he asked if Elisabetta had a final "a"; when he finished, he gave the book back to her, and then asked her her name……. I looked at him…. and he said:"Oh yes, Elisabetta!" (poor Mika, he was really exhausted ), then while he was talking to her, she was holding his hand, she wanted to have a contact with him, so he put her hand on his hair, and laughed……… my daughter got even more excited and told me she was trembling, I told it to Mika and he hugged and kissed her (but this way she got even more excited) ….. so I introduced Eleonora to him, and when he said to her "Nice to meet you" she got into a tizzy as well… she can't remember what he told her.

 

I was also very excited: in fact, when he asked me about the trip (he knew about the van) I told him that I would get off in Padova (where I live), pick my daughters there and then drive to Codroipo (I had asked the guy from Universal to translate that sentence and he laughed when he heard about that ).

Later on I realized that when MIka had asked me about the trip, he was probably referring to Rome

 

The funniest thing about our encounter was that I was speaking Italian and Mika was speaking English ….. (I had asked a boy who spoke English to help me but he looked absentminded) I don't know how much Mika understood of what I said ……btw it was such an amazing and unforgettable moment, especially for my daughter, she was over the moon, and Eleonora and I, we were so happy for her!!

 

When Mika went away, we approached the car and thanked Mrs P, and she was so sweet as to thank US for attending the show.

Mika is a special person indeed, just like his mother and I thank them with all my heart for the wonderful night!! Elisabetta is looking forward to Cattolica now!!

So funny you say that. I saw that thread, and really don't think the song is about Mika. There wasn't anything between him and Katy, and most of the lyrics of the song don't apply to him. He's not a vegetarian. He doesn't drive. As far as we know, he doesn't wear make-up. And like some people on there said, he likes LA. He's not "sad". And the "I know you can hear me, Travis!" thing. So I snooped around a little bit to make a guess at who it was really about.

Who do you think Ur So Gay is about? I saw the release party video where, at the beginning of the song, Katy yells, "I know you can hear me Travis!". As you know, Travie/Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes was an on-and-off boyfriend of hers. If it's about him, this was probably written during an "off" period. The guy in the song is a vegetarian. Travie McCoy is a vegetarian. Now, I don't know much about Travis, so I really can't make a lot of connections between him and the guy in the song. But I do think it's unlikely that she would have two boyfriends who were both named Travis and were both vegetarians. Discuss plz.
