    Hello, there!

Can't be a lucky one,  I was at Roland-Garros for the men's final match.

It was totally surprising to see MIKA at Philippe-Chatrier Court

I couldn't focus on the games... actually I think I was only seeing MIKA during the match...

Here's a link to some photos I took from my seat.

  2. Hi, this is Yuko.

I was one of the luckiest person who got a chance to greet Mika at the backstage with my Mika-fan-friend NaoMika on New Year’s Eve in Florence.   :fangurl:

Starting with Mika, I cannot thank enough to the people who was involved to organize this event. And of course thank you NaoMika for giving me such an incredible chance. It really became a precious and unforgettable moment with Mika.

Also, I’m glad to help someone in the world with my donations through Cesvi in return for this.

Now it’s over and I really hope that Mika had enjoyed it too. I really appreciate Mika for everything, and for treating us very friendly that night.

NaoMika’s report is very well written, but while my memory is fresh and clear enough, I would like to share mine as well.

Please forgive me for some overlapped episodes, and I couldn't make it short. Also, I’m sorry that I didn’t take lots of pics nor vids of him to share. I really wanted Mika to feel comfortable without being pointed a camera at him, in such a special occasion that came into my life at last. I just took a few after getting his permission, and you can see them in the link that NaoMika had already posted.

Taking pictures with him was one of my dream, because I never had a chance before. But don’t you think he looks a bit chubby in the photos? ( :stifle: sorry Mika!)

Well, as NaoMika had written, we finally got the instructions where to receive our backstage passes, in the evening on the actual day of the Greeting. Kept in suspense until then for 1 week, we were quite anxious and really worried that if there is  a possibility to be cancelled at the last minute.  :tears:

With the instructions, we were told that it’s going to be a “very” short greeting. So, we really didn’t have any clue how long it will be or how it will be held.

Trying to be ready for all kinds of situations that could happen, it turned out to be the best situation I could have imagined.

      :mika1:  :fairy:

So, when the door of the Mika’s dressing room was opened, Mika and his mama was standing at the corner of the room. Waiting and welcoming us with smiles on their faces, very politely. :mf_lustslow: And in that room, I found no one else except for them. Wow.   :cheer:

I’m sure Mika was wondering which fans will show up. And since I’m a pessimistic person and because we had already seen him several times by then, at the outside of the stage door of the Opera Di Firenze, telling him that we’re from Japan, so I started to feel quite embarrassed and I was thinking, “Sorry Mika…, it’s us again…”  :sweatdrop:

As lots of people had recognized, NaoMika’s dress was very beautiful (actually, it’s sequined and looks more beautiful than you see it through photos!) so with no doubt, Mika and his mama loved it in one glance, and started to tell her they love it and asked her where she got it. I loved it too! But as you can see in the photos, I was in a normal black and white dress, and although I was wearing my most important and gorgeous accessories that I’ve got, I started to feel small and misery.

Why do I write the thing like this? Because I saw Mika’s personality here.

He soon noticed that I was left out of that conversation, then he looked into my eyes and said “Your dress is beautiful too”.

At that moment, I thought he was just trying to be polite, and “Thank you” was the only thing I could say to him. But now, I can’t forget that moment, because, especially when I was a child, I was a type of a person who is not noticed (not ignored on purpose) and left alone easily. Even now, it’s becoming very rare but I feel like I’m invisible, and I’m not heard even I speak out loud. So, I started feeling like “Oh no. Please. Not now…” But before that kind of timid me starts to come out, Mika had vanished it! Also, during this Greeting time, I noticed that he tried to talk with both of us equally. What a gentleman he is.  :pinkbow:

After putting down my big bag in the short aisle in front of the door, I asked him “May we come in?” and although I heard him answered “Yes, come in!”, I still hesitated to enter because NaoMika wasn’t ready yet. But then he started to apologize that the room looks messy with all the gifts he received and he’s always like that and even tried to tidy up a bit. (Of course, at the same time, he said to us to look at all the amazing gifts, and he looked really happy!) That wasn’t a reason that I didn’t enter in right away though, that kind of his behavior that we happened to see, made me feel like I was invited to his own room.

While NaoMika was taking time putting out her gifts, near the door, Mika was standing still at the corner of the room. He's a superstar but he was very modest! So I went in first and said “Congratulations on your another huge success, and thank you very much for inviting us.” But afterwards, he expressed his gratitude for the donations to both of us quite formally, so I thought I should have waited… But we are told that it’s going to be very short!

Yes, how he prepared for the toasting was amazingly fast! Once he saw a bottle of “Sake” (the Japanese rice wine) that I brought, he said “Let’s toast!” and in the next instant he was already bending down in front of the cupboard which was a few steps away from him, to fetch some wine glasses. With excitement, I and NaoMika told him that she has brought some Japanese traditional cups, and he didn’t fail to hear it!

Well, I’m so glad that my idea of bringing him some Sake (Japanese rice wine) ended up to be a great moment with him.

At first I just wanted to bring him something Japanese and also something to celebrate him in a polite way. Then NaoMika decided to bring some Japanese traditional cups for him, so that we might be able to ask him to toast together, if we have enough time of course. So, when he said “Let’s toast!”, we thought he read our mind!

I’m so happy that we were able to bring back such a nice video message for the New Year’s as well. I’m sorry it’s especially for the Japanese fans only though.

While NoaMika was preparing her digital camera, he came to me to practice saying “Happy New Year” in Japanese. It wasn’t my first time standing right in front of him, but because I wasn’t aware of him walking towards me, when I looked up suddenly, what I could see was only the lower half of his face! :donkey:  oops! * :mikadas:

Time flies when you're having fun… :(  :tears:

Although there are lots of “I shouldn’t have done/said that” or “Why I didn’t do/say that!”, in total, I was happy that he understood what I was trying to say in English, almost everything.

(I’ve always been imagining talkin with Mika in English, so daydreaming is not always bad, I think!  :P  )

At the very end, as I was walking out from the room behind him,  I managed tell him

“Thank you for becoming a musician and doing everything what you do.”

he replied me “Yes, I’m enjoying it!”

If I’m allowed to wish more, I wanted to see childish and “enfant terrible” side of him as well. I’m hoping it for some other time.   :making-a-wish:

    Thank you for reading...

    Yuko xx

awwwwww thank you so much for the details, especially the part about how he is so gentleman. You must have had a fantastic moment there and wish you happy forever!

  3. Super Tired....!

As always did Korean fanclub Mikaholix some exclusive surprises and flashlight moments on each gigs in Korea... the Stars/Sun Panels in Busan and Streamers/Golden glitters in Seoul and "still secrets" for Daegu... (We love surprises, so no one mentioned about those on twitter or FB for months!)

Busan surprises went perfect as planned ..  but I had to be very nervous after the Busan gig... Talk about you was rearranged with acoustic tempo and he didn't sing WAG there! :mf_rosetinted: That reminded me 2010's paper plane disaster... at that time we had to change the song into Happy Ending even though it was planned for AOW.

I had no idea with the TAY... no time to change something and it might be rude if I should ask Mika to change TAY arrangement... so... yeah. screwed up. :P

Just after Buan gig I asked the promotor to tell mika that fans prepared gold glitters for WAG... and...maybe he heard our prayer? he sang WAG in Seoul and the gold glitters went perfect as planned. Yay!

This Seoul gig is my first Heaven Tour show , and I felt that the tempo and speed of the show is obviously slower than his 2010 around shows.  ..  now understood why Mika booked seated venues in this Asia tour. Not bad for me as I got older than my 2010's :aah: His charisma gets stronger and stronger than earlier days!

OMG he's presence in stage is so outstanding... and no other popstars has that huge charisma as him! and I feel very overwhelmed whenever he sings in close distance. How could his family live around him everyday.. not being overwhelmed by his presence itself? :naughty:

Am off to Daegu tomorrow. We rent huge tour buses for fans in Seoul to Daegu! It's my last Asia tour gig (damn work!) so will enjoy as much as I can!

Hope I could meet some mfcers in Daegu! In seoul i was absolutely busy before the show to hand out the stuffs to thousands of audiences with fanclub staffs.. Daegu it's easier...we can get into the venue before the show and set up everything.

Sorry Mika we occupied the time and you're the next. :naughty:

Thank you Yuna Korean fans are really so amazing!

  4. moved touched moved touched moved touched moved touched moved touched... again and again! Thank you Eriko for putting things together, this event is just so nice, very nice, nice and warm. I'm so happy to see that he's proud of some of the kids, they are strong and lively, even more than we do.

  5.

Okay so there is my moment. Once again, we were behind the candidates' families, which means the coaches kept looking at us all the time. Mika looked straight into my eyes three times, but during a break something odder happened. The candidate's family left (because they change during the break too) and I randomly met Mika's stare again. But like, for days it seemed. Zazie was talking to him and he just never left my eyes. It got a little uncomfortable (duh) so I looked at my friend next to me who looked frozen. She asked me ''what happened ?'' but like, chocked. And I was like 'What do you mean what happened ?' and, be prepared, there she goes 'Mika just pointed at you and all the coaches looked in your direction'. Imagine my cheeks guys. Hopefully the light was blue cause I probably turned bright red. When I slowly turned my head again, I saw Zazie looking at me two more times and smiled the last time. What-even-in-the-hell-did-I-do ?

well I guess he bet you would turn somewhere else under his staring and you really did then he made some jokes to others about how charming he really :naughty: is

  7. I don't think the photos are talking about him. The style is a trending style which mostly used for those local indie bands and folk singers who have the character of the 'poor, worrying nothing ahead, a bit of blue, unstable mind and a soul getting old fast'. I don't really think it's a perspective of him, really.

Just my personal view, no offence to those who really like the pictures. :)

  8. Some pics are very beautiful, but some others are.... weird, to say the least... I couldn't help but laugh. Wonder what the text means though. Thanks for posting, Eriko

It says that he cooperated with a photographer called Ren Hang. The photos show a totally different character of him and he's quite pleased with the shooting.

Somehow personally I don't really like these photos. They didn't show another aspect but nothing of him!

  9. I just received a detailled first hand report by daeni via dm, she didn't want to post it here because it's easier for her to write in german. Anyway, she said the band before mika wanted the crowd (who were already crammed together anyway) to build a path in the middle, and kept insisting to make this happen. Then those in the back of the crowd saw it as their chance to move forward, and at once the whole crowd started pushing forward, which resulted in the barriers moving forward and almost collapsing - at the last moment, security could prevent this. But the pushing continued until that band before mika had left, and security had to pull out lots of people from the crowd, who were hurt or unconscious. What a nightmare! I'm glad i wasn't there. Guess mika knew nothing of it, as it was all over when he came on stage.

    brainless to insist doing this!
