  1. Hello! Unexpectedly around today and I was wondering:

Would it be possible to drop in at the beginning of the party? I could only make the first half an hour, but it would be really nice to at least do that- if there is any space last minute! I’m happy to contribute to the Mika gift and I won’t be consuming any of your food and drink. Totally understand if that’s not possible though :)

  2. hi everyone, i have an idea. not sure if its been done before, but ive been talking to some fans about when mika sings elle me dit and then goes into his full on weird dance. but ive noticed he hasnt done that in recent shows. he has but not his crazy usual way. and i thought it be funny IF he does Elle Me Dit at London we all put up signs saying "Mika dance, Mika dance dance dance"

I know we are already doing the heart sign, but what do you all think?

That doesn't seem too complicated :D
  3. Personally I would give out so many hearts in the audience as we can print. But then cutting needs to much time to do. We would do it as simply as possible. ????

But as more hearts we have: Shouldn't we write when it's to wave. In very small font for example: We would wave it for LOVE TODAY. Your MikaFanClub ? ????

Definitely agree with handing them out- it worked really well in London, non-MFCers were generally very rager to participate.

I'd be veeery surprised if he didn't sing OOL, so personally I think either OOL or Good Guys would work to bring them up to, and I think they're maybe slightly more appropriate than Last Party (which he plays at the encore anyway right? So nothing's stopping us waving them then too)

  4. I'll double-check, Nina. I would think that even if they couldn't stay downstairs, they would be able to eat upstairs. I'll let you know.

EDIT: I just checked on the site and found this:

    Strictly over 18s

Children may dine with adults in the bar/restaurant until 11pm.

The bar/restaurant is the upstairs bit right? Oh well, the u-18 contingent will be...close....
  5. I sent them yesterday. Standard First Class, so they will be with you soon. I also included my email address if you want to use it.

I really love your idea of a NPIH artbook. I'm sure Mika will be thrilled. As I said, I've thought of something for the song Hurts, so I hope that's okay.

I'm glad you like the idea. A drawing for Hurts would be great!

  6. A good idea would be for everyone who draws something, to sign it, then have some blank pages for other fans' messages and signatures.

I won't do a book then. If you have decided to do one it's pointless to have two to give to Mika on the night. I'd like to draw something inspired by a song from NPIH and send it in to you. But it would have to be hand drawn from me, not printed. On a sheet of A4 paper that you can add to the book. My printer doesn't work. We've never been able to get a printer that works for us. Maybe we don't install it right, I don't know, but Alan and I can't use technology.

Anyway, let me know if that's okay.

That's fine, I think quite a few of the entries will be sent by mail anyway.
  7. It's okay. No need to apologise.

I've made all the badges now. I just have to put the fasteners on them and then they can be sent to the address.

Then I'll concentrate on the book.

    Fantastic!

(if you're interested, Jonc and I are also looking to do a book project to hand to Mika at the Adelphi, a sort of illustrated NPiH. Perhaps we could add a fan autograph section to that?? Anyway, it's just an idea, the link is here if you want to have a look http://www.mikafanclub.com/topic/32012-no-place-in-heaven-illustrated/#entry4009671 Thanksagain for the badge work :) )

  8. I am so so so sorry for late reply and lack of commitment, they increased my hours for a week at work and it was hard to find some free time!

Okay, guys - should we do the lists then?

I think we might need three:

    1. People who want to design the pieces (for printing or copying by hand)

    2. People who want to make the spare pieces.

    3. People who want to print some spare pieces or chip in.

I think, if you want, you can be on all of the lists, because this is what I want to do - I want to design, to make some spare pieces and print some as well, to make the biggest amount as I can.

You can message me or sign here, all take care of managing the lists. ;)

I'm also desperately sorry for not replying much atm- I'm abroad, and wifi spots are few and far between. For the month of august, however, I'll be in London, available, and I will really concentrate on this project.

Jonc, you can count me in for all three lists as well :)

It's so great to see all the responses here, this fandom is amazing!!

  9. i'd create some unique buildings/items, so they don't all look the same. count me in for 20, maybe more if necessary.

as for printing, i could print a4 sheets if that helps, maybe that'd be ok for the stars? we have a laser printer, so printing about 100 or so isn't a problem - just the colours aren't really bright and beautiful, as they are on an inkjet printer. dunno what your plans are and if a4 printing makes sense at all, but let me know if you need it.

Great, thank you! :) Don't worry about the A4- of course, ideally, we'd like most things to be bigger so that they can be seen from the stage, but it would work great for stars and other smaller items with recognisable shapes. Same goes for the colour, because even with low lighting, light colours like yellow should (hopefully) be OK... but we'll update you on this when we figure out what's gonna happen with house lights (if those come on) and/or luminous paint and glitter. We could always quickly embellish some of them with a glitter pen or something :) Thanks again!!

  10. I've made a start on the badges. They're not quite as big as I originally planed, because they looked too clumsy like that, but the name shows up on each one really well and they are all individual designs.

I will just need to know how many you want me to make. They are not luminous though, but they are fun, and glittery. I hope that's okay.

don't worry about them being non-luminous-glitter ill catch the light and look awesome anyway :) I've been putting off telling you how many because I'm not too sure myself (also, of course, I realise that this will be a very time and energy consuming project for you, and I don't want to give you some ridiculously big number or a wild guess) :3 so what does everyone think? Should they just be for rsvpers, or should we give some out?
