The meaning of "turn blue" is very clear to an English speaker. In the context of the rest of the verse I think what he's saying is that their relationship is a complete disaster due to bad luck/being accident prone

Not a quirk, they are two different things. You can't RSVP on the gig calendar day because it's not an event. There could, in theory, be several events on May 3.

You can get to the event by going to the calendar day and then clicking the event title. This is where you RSVP.

Most dates for September and October are missing, at least I can't see them. Maybe a wrong kind of setting or something?

MFC is the only forum I have been on in my life where people have the attitude that discussions, sharing differing opinions and debating is inappropriate, negative, or in violation of its purpose. And even on MFC this is a recently adopted attitude because it was the lifeblood of MFC at one time. It is the entire purpose of message forums to exchange ideas and it is ridiculous to expect that everyone is going to have the same ideas. Forums were not created to just chat in real time or post photos. There are other environments for that.
