Did you seen that at the beginning Mika is writing a letter he give to the woman in the black in white film that she trew away ?

In a way it does go with the song, if you think of boom, as being a gun going off. He's shooting people.

It sort-of reminds me of earlier in his career, if anyone remembers. During his concerts there used to be a shadowplay scene, only short, but there was a gun, it shot a piece of material, with (I think) "bang", something like that. My memory sucks. But for some reason this video has made me remember that.

So it doesn't go with the song in terms of, two lovers getting it on, but it does if you think of the boom of a gun through the ages. The common denominator seems to be various types of guns.

The scenes can be confusing, but what I'm wondering now is that maybe it's deliberately done that way.

If you think about it, the song is in French which could put people off listening to it if they can't speak French, but there is so much going on in the video, that the song becomes the background music. Then, while people try and decipher the various plots, the song enters the brain through the subconscious and won't leave. So it becomes a kind of brainwashing. It's pure genius.

We have to admire Mika's courage in using a controversial topic in his song.

I just hope that the video doesn't say something completely different.

In other words... No matter how visually stunning the video is, if he ends up with a woman in the video, he's likely to be slated for not being gay in the video.

If he ends up with a man... He will be a hero to gay people.

I know, to us fans, his being gay doesn't make any difference. But now that he's out and proud, people are aware of his sexuality. He has said the song reflects his love for his partner, so gay people, and also straight people who admire who he is and the integrity he stands for, will be disappointed if the video doesn't reflect his true self.

So I hope for a stunning video, which ends with him falling for a man. Then, it could really be important to some people, and brilliant to others. It should do really well. Even the people who don't like it, will watch it and bump up the hits. This, in turn, would help the song get higher in the charts throughout the world.

One of Mika's contestants on the Voice did Papaoutai, right? And did one do Tous les memes? Or was Stromae on the show himself? I know I saw a pic of them together.

Kendji and another guy sang "tous les même" on battle.It is the onely song of Stromae (I gess) that was sang at the voice.

Hi everyone !

My name is Elisa and I am 13, I am french. my pseudo is the title of a Hatsune Miku's song i love.

I am a mikaddict recently, around 5 months.I discovered him watching The Voice.I found him so original, honest, funny...I saw only him (love at first sight )

I knew Mika before but i was too young to be interest in him (and that's my biggest regret ><') I'm wondering what would be my life without "love today"...(and all of his songs for sur !)One tonight Mika was singing under water at The voice (a song I didn't knew) and i found it fantastic I asked my mum the name of the song and how I could listen it one more time, she said to me "type under water on youtube and you'll find it" so I rushed on my computer but she ordered me to go bed indeed it was 11pm x)

The following day at 8am I was on internet listening "under water" I loved it then I listened a lot of songs and an huge quantity of interview, read a lot of articles (in any language)...I was practicing my new mikaddiction.Il still practice

All of this to say I am crazy about Mika.I wish i'll meet a lot of fans as crazy as me
