Salut everybody, I'm a brand new Mika fan and in a few months I have become crazy about him. The story is quite strange because all happened while I was searching on Youtube a Piano Concerto at Salle Pleyel by my favourite pianist Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli ..I'm fond of classical music..but you already know who I met at Salle Pleyel on Youtube

 

Since that day of October 2015 I have been totally captured!!! I have never followed a pop star in all my life..never too late (Ehm I'm not so young) !!! By that time all the concerts were gone except Como that was unreachable, so I had to wait for the new season

Anyhow, you are a great polite happy kind professional group so I decided to join you all. Thank you for all the resources!! I speak obviously Italian but also English and French so you can rely on me if you need help for translations from Italian.

Last but not least I managed to book Perugia when other concerts were not still disclosed.. but I live so near to Piazzola sul Brenta - which I didn't booked - and I would be glad to help anybody about location, arrangements etc etc.

Iam going also...it was like dream when i find it out!!! I never believe this could happen, i dreamed about it but it was like "Ou...maybe someday in the future...or i will go to another country someday" so...i couldnt believe!!! But, yeah...we have exam week too its so shame!!! Every week would be good...just this week is the final week when we had all exams. But...i said myself - no matter what...iam going!!! I just have to menage it somehow so i believe...i have my tickets already!! Standing under the stage...iam so exctied!! I just hope the stupid school will not ruin this for me...

Why I love Mika?  For me is Mika the only one singer/ songwriter/ musician who can express whole spectrum of emotions in his music. Nobody has for me so sad and depressing songs as him. Nobody has for me so colourfull and joyfull songs as him. Mika is the only one who came so close to my heart with his music. I love the way he creates his songs - contrasts, metaphors. I love his view on the world. I like the way he is fighting with bad things in his life - in this is he my inspiration. He is simply shining human being who has a big gift of sharing his energy with other people. ........  basically, these are my reasons

My names is Marta and I come from Italy. I love Mika for a billion reasons that surely passed along to you, but I have one very personal and I would share it with you. When I was a little girl I saw and knew death too early and this for me was upset. I could not very well to express my emotions, I was always very sad and spoke little. When I started listening to Mika I was happy because he spoke the words that I had in my head. Even today is so, one day I would meet him but I never had a chance, I think I see him really help. now I have a personal blog where I collect all the beautiful letters that I would send him. It was my and my friend's first Mika concert yesterday and I can say that I loved it!

 

It was badly organised for the tickets and we were a bit worried about that at first, but once we got in I forgot about everything. We were around 6 meters away from the stage, which was way closer that I imagined I would be. I was sad also because they didn't let me take in my camera. I don't understand why.

 

I can say that I quite liked a pre group, though he was songing quite. Or his microphone was too quite. When they finished, baloons started flying all over the front part of the room and it was really beautiful to look at it. And it made waiting a bit more fun.

Now to Mika.

 

The moment he stepped on stage, you could feel the wave of energy and I couldn't take my eyes off him. His voice was really good! Better in person than on CD which is not what I'm used too with others. The only thing that bothered me is that he spoke a lot in french, so I had no idea what it was about.

During happy ending he steppped away from he microphone and showed us to be quiet. As there was silence, he sang a bit without the mic. He sang it with son many emotions and his voice just hit you. It was my favourite part of the concert.

 

As my phone battery is really low, I will finish with the thought that this wasn't my last Mika concert.

Ahoj!! Taky jsem byla na Coloursech - ted jsem tu objevila tehle treat ,

- jak jste se bavili před tím - úplně nejvíc se mi asi z nového alba líbí good guys    je to srdeční záležitost...protože, než vůbec vyšla ta písnička, viděla jsem tohle

, viděli jste to? Když jsem to viděla poprvé, úplně jsem si tu písničku zamilovala! Kdykoliv si tohle video pustím, mám totální husinu    - a věděli jste, že refrém je trošku předělaný výrok od Oscara Wilda? Který byl taky vlastně gay...a jelikož je to písnička právě o nich, tak mi to příjde geniální ...a pak z toho nového alba se mi líbí No place in heaven...po ní asi Rio, je hrozně veselá a pak všechny ostatní

Jinak - koncert u nás byl neskutečný - už nazačátku všechny odzbrojil tou svou češtinou  , aj ty, co ho vůbec neznali    , všichni známí, co tam byli a před tím ho neposlouchali mi řekli, že byl úžasný a že byl nejlepší z celý coloursů...tohle bych mohla poslouchat od rána do večera 

Aj ja som tam bola -- prvý krát v živote :3 ... jednoducho najúžasnejší zážitok v živote...

First I had to fall from seventh heaven before I was able to write something,    This was my third Mikas´s concert (after Vienna and Sziget) and I was a little bit worried from gig in Czech republic, ´cause, ehm... Our country is the only one (I think), where they had to cancel his show, five years ago... It's a big shame and the and the truth is that Mika is not very famous (and popular) here. But all my fears disappeared when he came on stage. He prepared so many czech sentences   and from that moment was everyone eating from his hand...     And how he said "Pojďme na to"...  it was sooo cute.

And later when he took my gingerbread heart during Origin of Love...   He danced with it, he tasted it.... and I almost fainted...   I´ll never forget that moment when he took it and read my message on it. 

 

I have seen really a lot of Mika´s shows, but this one in Ostrava was even better than some gigs in South Korea   (and that means something     ), so THANK YOU, COLOURS... It was a night to remember. 

Na takýto zážitok sa nikdy nezabúda (...a konečne som sa tu zaregistrovala) ..hm, hm.. som s tebou v tom červenom obdĺžniku

(CONTINUE - part 2) ..Sometimes I stopped my singing and breathing because I wanted to clear hear his high voice -- and It was really really good - he sings without any hesitation. ..Stage had a pier and for my suprise Mika used it very often ... He was still running and the floor was wet so I was afraid of situation he could fall down. ... Honestly say, I don't remember this gig clear - I think because of so many emotion I had (first his gig, first row, first time on festival, ...) But I remember few great moments - one of his fans - girls I met here had a little gift for him - gingerbread heart and she wanted to give him but she didn't know how and when ... So when he was on the pier, very close to us, me and other 2 girls told her - now, now It was so funny and she threw her heart on the pier and Mika picked it up, read message which was on it, bite it and threw in into the audience.. It was so crazy - the way he did it - he was like crazy hungry lion :D... Another amazing moment was when it started to rain. He was so lovely. He stay on the pier with us and said something like: ''It's raining. You are in the rain and I will not hide under the roof of stage. I stay here with you.'' It was so lovely. I think this moment was really magical because the audience came more crazy and he too. He was dancing, jumping, running and rolling on the pier like crazy audience loved him! ...and he loved the audience ♥ In the end of his gig - when he singed Love today we were dancing  like crazy --- fans, people who wasn't fans .... Mika is a performer who forced people to have good mood and to dance if they wanted it or no :D ... ..... And what else.... I always knew he is really good singer, he is charismatic but when I saw and heard him I finally understood the meaning of the words ''profesional'' and ''showman'' ... I think he was born to be a showman. He's fuc*ing good at this! ... and I found only good reactions on this show - not only from fans.. He was really good surprise for everyone. ... I wanted to met with him after the gig, but didn't know where and how.. It wasn't possible for me, because security guy came to us (we were waiting before stage) and told us we must to go away... But someone from backstage came to us and gave us some souvenirs - 2 guitar picks and list of songs. I have 1 guitar pick .... ......THE END - my dream came true, the most amazing experience of my life -- and I want to see him again ♥♥♥

Hello! I don't know if someone will read this..  I know it's late (Mika's gig in Ostrava was 4 weeks ago) but I registrated on this side only today. I am his fan since summer 2011 and really love him. 

I was on his gig in Ostrava - for me it was first his performance and I want to share my feelings with you (if you find it)  in this late report. ... Description of this gig in few words before I begin: amazing, magical, profesional, .... I won a pair of tickets in February on his official FB page. I read here that some other fan won too - but in February it was me .. It was luckiest day of my life. So big suprise because being on Mika's gig was my biggest dream ever. It was shocking for me to see my name in those post on FB. .. I was looking forward 19-th july 5 months. I was on the whole festival. I promised to myself I must to have front row and I am going to do everything for it... ... and I got it! The best place - first row in the right corner nex to pier was my - I waited for it 3 hours before gig. When I came here I met here few people  - and 3 girls who were obviously Mika's fans - they had Mika's t-shirts so I came to them and we started to speak about Mika and all about him... ......Few minutes before gig came on the stage the director of whole festival and introducted Mika's gig. Than one of the girls I met here started to screaming Mika, Mika, -- and I follow her and after few seconds all people around us - and many and many people were scanding Mika, Mika, Mika! -- It was amazing. Mika was in backstage so he must to heart it I was suprised by the good atmosphere here because I was afraid of people's reactions - what if they don't know or don't like him... but everything was good .. When Mika came on stage I had really strenge feelings. I know and love him 4 years - only from internet and radios and now I finally see him live.. Yes, It was my Mika, my Mika with his characteristic walking, my Mika with his beautiful smile. He was waving to the publicum, --- but he was finally REAL and so close... ...He start to speak Czech. I expected he say Hello in Czech but he spoke many sentences in really good Czech language. It was amazing to hear it - I am from Slovakia and those two languages are very very similar. When he was singing Grace Kelly - part: ''walk out the door'' only good fans knew that on gigs he sings ''walk out the fuc*ing door'' :D so only we sang it right with him :D it was really funny for me.
