Laugh is never  a bad habit is a healthy one and I'm glad I make you laugh, well, not me but Mika, wherever you are :naughty:

I'm not over the picture... I just laughed again ahah

The thing is: when I'm on the train for work I'm in 1st Class with very serious tie-wearing people... I found it the more hilarious that I'm laughing like crazy because of a picture of Mika doing strange things on his piano while they're all disapproving.

I was wondering if I should write about the live shows - I mean everything is aired live so it's not like I have funny cuts to tell like for the auditions recording. But still I decided to give it a shot (mostly because I am curently bored at work, don't tell my boss) .

Thank you very much for your report (I won't tell your Boss - God knows I'm not always the best employee either :fisch:). While I'm thanking you, I want to add that I really much enjoyed all your past reports as well and I basically stalked them on this forum since I'm among you all MFCers. They're so great and so lively it's wonderful to read!

  3. Welcome Michael! I'm kind of new around here too and so far I like this place very much; I hope it will be the same for you.

I'm always wary of those songs that I don't like much when I'm listening for the first time... they have this way of ending up my favourite some months later - I always feel betrayed :fisch: (not all of them though, some will stay the "no thanks" ones).

    Have fun!

Welcome to the MFC and have a lot of fun here :wink2:. I´m Sabine from Germany and my musical crush on Mika lasts for more than nine and a half years now and doesn´t seem to end anytime soon :blush-anim-cl:

    Thank you Sabine!

I have been warned ahah :thumb_yello:

Every time I see the third jpg for this, all I can think is that they look like they have finally built their long awaited death ray or something?? something about their faces I think but I can't tell what it is

Hi Evilbean! We are newbies together although I have been a Mika fan since he started on radio 2 in UK. I am not very good on computers so took me a time to join here. So good to be able to share my Mike obsession. My friends/family think I have gone mad but "all I do is wanna talk about YOU' (him). I live in west France now and visit Paris from time to time. Funny what you said about learning languages, I am trying to learn Italian, beenwatching Casa Mika, but finding it difficult. Hope to get there in the end!

Hellooooo! Welcome here! I'm laughing because "Talk about you" is literally me anytime I'm obsessed (ask my friends.... they're all saints for enduring me still after all those years!!). Hope we will all have much fun around here and maybe at a gig somewhere in France soon? (let's hope).

On another topic, can I scream at the top of my voice please? You know my little ongoing frustration story about how Mika is always in my neighborhood without me knowing those last few weeks? Let's just say: the "Sourire of Saigon" (where he apparently had dinner yesterday) is LITTERALLY (I insist, I checked) at 150m from my home. Basically a 2min walk. This is one big joke the universe is having at my expense...

Ugh, I can imagine! :( It's good to have a place where you can say what you want right? :)

Feel free to pop in here more!

Thank you sweetie, I'm still not on a train, which seems to be already late,  hoping to see Paris and my bed again one day...

You're all nice, free hugs for everyone

  8. Since we can say random things here: I just wanted to express my tiredeness somewhere. Here it is: I'm so exhausted!!! And it is only Wednesday... ugh.

I woke up at 5:30 am and will be back home at 9:30pm at best... I don't like when work is like this with too much trains and taxis and early mornings with late evening at home.

Good point is: reading you all while eating my sandwich at top speed is great! Love you all already!

But seriously, this is so frustrating to know that would I have feel like getting some fresh air that evening... Ugh.

  10. Hi Roselyne, welcome!! Another victim from Mika's cuteness I see.

I'm new around here too and I speak french also so don't hesitate to talk. I even lived in Mons for 2 years and I like you all french-speaking Belgian people :thumb_yello:

  11. WARNING: this is a moaning message.

Have you seen Mika and Doriand at the Sacré Coeur doing sport?

It's literally 5min away from my home. He's taunting me. This is the most frustrating game ever, I swear.

Here is a very good example to show you you are not alone :naughty:

I didn't know this one omg. It's so funny. This is totally the thing happening in my brain when I try to speak Italian... Except for the Lola piano - but maybe I should had the Lola piano in my head when I'm struggling, I mean it would make anything better right?

On another topic and since I'm not familiar enough with this forum to know where to moan about it (is there a dark corner for the moaners?!:lmfao:): I was walking through Paris all night... and I come home and see those instagram pictures with dog and Eiffel tower... It happens all the time since a few weeks it's making me crazy. Don't mind me, I'm a little frustrated because I have this unrealistic idea that I could meet him anyday here since he's spending some time around - and I leave just behind Montmartre too where he seems to go often, (and I work in Saint-Ouen most days...): my life is a joke (with a twisted sense of humour). Why is this city too big

Thank you very much! I can kind of understand though, sometimes I have to go back a little but if I focus I can follow. Still, this is useful to lnow if I struggle on one part. I watched all the SCM but if I ever feel like watching again I will keep that in mind.

Hi and welcome to the MFC :bye:

Ah the first rush of Mika addiction - and believe me, it is an addiction.

I'm no stranger to this kind of addiction. I love loving thing - it's a disease :fisch:

    9 hours ago, Nie said:

Don't worry Nat it's not a disease:wink2:..it's called retroactive inhibition, which the new learning interferes with the retention of old memories.

It won't be harder to relearn as compared to learning a new language I believe...don't get too frustrated :wink2:

Just to cheer u up with a little story:

I need to use different languages at work, and I changed workplace quite frequent as well. So there was once, I was trying to converse with my patient, we were talking to each other for about 10 minutes, and I was convinced that I understood him to a certain extent...and to my horror, at d end of the conversation, I just realised that he was speaking a totally different language and I have no idea how much I misunderstood :doh:

Very interesting - I knew of the phenomena but didn't recall the name, thank you. I feel better now, we are not alone ahah

Hi Nat, nice to meet you and welcome to the MFC :D

When you press play you could never imagine the amount of happiness Mika's world can give you, the nicest surprises are also the most unexpected I guess :blush-anim-cl:

I'm very glad that your rediscovery of Mika's music brought you here, hope you're gonna have fun with all of us! Also, if you need a little hand with the revision of your Italian, my PMs are always open! :)

    See you around :bye:

You know, I'm suffering from the same weird disease as Mika with his Spanish: I was quite good in Italian at school... but I had to use my english a lot because of work and now I just can't speak in Italian anymore. All the words come to me in english and it's like the most frustrating feeling!! The irony is: I was not so good in english by then... I was the worst really!

I'm already enjoying this forum so much?! Especially the post with all the rare and must see vids as there are some I haven't seen yet! Good job you all, you're GOOD at MIKA-ing. (And now I'm inventing words... time to stop!)
