MIKAINSTAGRAM

See you tomorrow eve (Thursday at 7pm France/Italy time 6pm UK time) for another session of #cookingwithmika

This time however I am announcing the ingredients for one of the dishes we are going to make so that you can join in in real time at home.

This dish is an homage to my Lebanese roots. Its super simple and has not tooo many ingredients.

I just hope you have these ingredients at home or are able to go out and buy them although it is still recommended to stay home as much as possible.

If you can’t find tahini during this tricky time, don't worry. You can always watch and take note for when it will be possible to go out shopping.

There will be a lot more music and talking than cooking anyway!

I will be joined by a couple friends including the Michelin starred chef Viviana Varese in Milan. She inspired me to do this in the first place! @viviana_varese #iocucinoacasa #vivavivianavarese INGREDIENTS BELOW!

  • 3 large aubergines
  • 50 gr or 4 teaspoons of tahini
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • A few mint leaves
  • To decorate - some sesame seeds, pomegranate seeds if you can find them and mint

  • 3 grandi melanzane
  • 50 gr o 4 cucchiaini di tahini
  • 3 spicchi d’aglio
  • 1 limone
  • Olio extra vergine do oliva
