By the way:

Sometimes the 'most recent post' thing can be like quarter of an hour old.

I just looked at the most recent posts, and the biggest wait for a new post has been two minutes but perhaps earlier it was slower.

I think a lot of people come onto the site after school, so anything before 5pm is likely to always be slower.

There are 80 people online now though, which is amazing.

The amount of visitors is exactly the same as always. The difference is that previously Sunny used to show all visitors that had visited the site in the past 20 minutes, but now we just show the last 5 minutes.

This is why it shows a lot less visitor activity.

There are also probably still some people who are seeing the old forum:shocked:

But just for the record, the forum has rarely been busier than in the past 2 weeks.

It seems that the MFC link has been removed from the Mika Wikipedia page

Does anyone with Wikipedia experience and an old account fancy putting the link to http://www.mikafanclub.com back in the external links section?

Just to keep you all informed. We are going to use Cafepress to create our own MFC fan store.

This will mean that we will be able to create loads of really cool Mika related products, and a % of each sale will also go towards the maintanence of the forum.

We are creating the account in the next 24 hours, and then we can all start coming up with ideas for amazing Mika t-shirts, badges etc...

We are probably going to need an extra 3 mods if the forum continues to grow. I can assure you that your name will be in contention.

After weeks of discussion and debate, we have decided to promote three of our members to the rank of Moderators. To be honest, this was quite a hard decision because there’s loads of really great members here at MFC. As the forum grows, we will add more moderators, but for now we feel that these three are more than capable of helping MFC get even better.

This coming weekend, we will be upgrading the accounts of the following three members:

Freddiesdouble

Their main roles will be to ensure that things continue to run smoothly and help new members feel at home.

We moved to a bigger and better forum yesterday. But whenever any site is moved it can take a while for the Internet to catch up. This is known as DNS.

There are still a few bugs that we are working on (for example, the attachment system is being upgraded at the moment)

But there will be a few other bugs as well, so have a play and please PM me with anything that is not working.

We are compiling an FAQ about Mika so that new members can be pointed to that direction every time they have a common question about Mika.

We would like to create the biggest Mika information source on the net, but for that we need your help.

We are going to modify the forum FAQ section so that, as well as having useful forum-related advice, it will have tons of information about Mika.

Here is the current FAQ section.

We are going to add a section called "Mika FAQ". This will answer questions like:

*How old is Mika?

*How tall is Mika?

*etc

Eventually we could have hundreds of questions answered in the Mika FAQ. This will be useful for all of us, but especially for new members and new Mika fans.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

There are hundreds of Mika experts on here. We would like to make this a forum project for all members.

We need you to provide questions and answers on Mika trivia, facts, stats and bio details.

Post them in this thread and we will add them to the FAQ page:

EXAMPLE,

What is the name of Mika's debut album?

The name of Mika's debut album is "Life In Cartoon Motion"

Initially we will do this in English, but eventually we will do it for as many languages as possible.

It is likely that newspapers, magazines, and TV shows will eventually use this FAQ as their source of Mika information as well

So please add as many questions and answers about Mika as possible.

It's a really cool and interesting post and it's made me curious to know - what is so special about Mika to you?

To me, it's about magic. I can listen to the same song a million times, and it still has the same magical feeling about it as the first time. I hope this never fades!

Also, his voice is soo beautiful and polished, and yet real. And his confidence is really inspiring.

And his hair... did I mention his hair??
