  1. BRILL news - thanks for finding that oh wonderful BG (you looked amazing btw :cheerful_h4h:)

My lovely hubby made an *ahem* 'unofficial' calendar for 2008 - which you can find here...

    http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12480

It's great that a Company is (hopefully) producing an official one though :boing:

    Oh, and avoca... :wub2:

    *blush* :blush-anim-cl:

I saw your calendar Blue Eyes, and it's AMAZING!!!! Are you thinking of a new one for the next year, btw? :fisch:

  2. I really like when he shares something about artists he like, I would probably never find out about these two myself...I hope he'll recommend us some book one day.

Same here! I really like his taste in matter of arts, and it's good that he shares his passions and thoughts with us all!

..and I love his complete randomness!:roftl:

and i'll sound horrible, but it's kinda comforting to see there are more people who can't sleep, so they spend time in front of computer...

Haha, you're not the only one at all! :blush-anim-cl: *thinks it's time to turn off the dvd player* :fisch:

  3. ahem....shall i write which of the 2 i trust more? :naughty:

    but we'll see, we'll see......:wink2:

Maybe the Italian release just won't coincide with the UK one...

    totally agreed.

come on...the olympia dvd was painful to watch....

this time i hope they hired a proper FILM director, not a video clip one.

the show WAS amazing....i hope we will not turn our neck as mad again trying to keep up with images running after music rhythm...Paris needs a WHOLE inclusive visual of the stage to let us enjoy it at full.

    cross fingers.

Painful? I agree on saying it was quite impersonal, you can't feel all the hyper atmosphere that was there that night, any all the spoken bits have been cut out, but it was everything but painful!:wink2:

  4. When everything was over, we went back to the hell-room to change our clothes, we met Pam again but she left soon cause she was probably going to the M&G. When we were leaving we saw Andy who kindly took us to see Mika after the M&G with the MFCers. I basically don't remember anything, I was awake since 3am and I only slept two hours the day before and I was deadly tired, and my mind was completely empty (not that there's much usually:naughty:) I couldn't recall what I wanted to say to him...and I still was on a cloud....and he spoke French, and Spanish...I just gave up following the whole thing.:blush-anim-cl:

    Well, it was a blast.:wub2:

    And now, the honey.

Ana, Asun, you already know how special you are for me, don't need to say more...thanx for everything. :huglove:

Freddie, elf:cheerful_h4h:, Jemma, Bab, Sarahlou, it was sooo nice to see you again! Can't wait till the next time, maybe i'll try to talk more..:blush-anim-cl:

Lillibet: you're priceless! I love you!

Neeve, Debbie, Isa (+ everyone else I'm sure I'm forgetting): I'm glad we met, hope to see you again next time!:wink2:

  5. I don't remember (thank god) what I actually did, I just know I went on stage and kept moving from side to side, I couldn't breath and I saw a few familiar faces in front row, some of them almost in tears:bleh: Sara was awesome, and Sam took me and sang with me...and I was too busy trying not to bump into anyone cause the stage was so small, and someone kept jumping here and there:naughty:

....but it was brilliant. I think it's the bravest thing I've ever done:blush-anim-cl:......I was scared to death but I enjoyed it so much!

After Big Girl, we followed the rest of the gig from Mikey's side of the stage, until Grace Kelly, when we got prepared with balloons to throw them during Lollipop. Which was what we did, and this time with LG, Andy dressed up as a bunny, and the girl from Argentina who won the competition, there was really no space for all of us!:naughty: I bumped into Sara and Pam a few times:blush-anim-cl: .....ow, it was great.:wub2:

And Ana, I did it only because you were there with me. :huglove:

  6. We gave the news to our friends and reached the others while waiting for Pam to make us enter backstage. A guy even peed in front of us.:roftl:

So when Pam arrived, she gave us bracelets and entered the "dressing-room", named hell-room because of its "not-so-fresh" temperature.:naughty:

We've been given our dresses, I picked the pink one (even if I hate pink) and we started to dress. We were 8: 4 BG and 4 LG, but one of us left saying she didn't feel brave enough.

A young lady from the staff (very lovely) helped us with the laces, then when we were ready we've been taken outside waiting for our time.

Here's when I started to freak out.:naughty: I was so so nervous, I didn't know what to do, nobody told us anything.....I was really really really nervous.:blush-anim-cl: Then we heard Relax. OMG OMG OMG.

A bit later we've been taken behind the stage: when Big Girl started we could see our friends all ready with cameras freaking out!:naughty:

  7. Hmm, I'll skip all the pre-stuff cause I know everybody else already did, and you don't need to read for the XXXth time when and where we peed.:naughty:

So, we all met at the hotel in the afternoon, right before going to the venue, when Ana told me "you and me are going to be BG tonight". "Yeah, sure!" "No, seriously." Shock shock me!

Then while walking to the venue we met Lulu with Biche, Sophie and sorry I don't know the other girl's name:blush-anim-cl: and she told me she was looking for a big girl to be with her on stage; I called Ana cause I knew she wanted to be a BG since London and then we arranged to meet up later in the night to meet with Pam.

We stayed on the grass for a while, while everybody else were queuing to enter:naughty:, and we did when there was finally nobody.

Line-up: just my opinion, awful. Unlike Arras (where I did love every single band who performed), here I didn't like any. Just not my kind of music. Except for My Bloody Valentine: wow, I loved them so much that me and Betta felt the urgent need to go out for a walk running to the most far place!:roftl: Seriously, they were unstandable!

It was here when we spotted Ana (who met up with Lulu like hours before) with Lulu and the other girls who were supposed to be the Lollipops: turns out that they hadn't seen Pam yet, and they were walking up and down the venue looking for her, and it was only 2 hours to Mika!

Ana and Lulu asked us to join them so we did. We then saw Pam and she picked the both of us! I really couldn't believe it! it's the second time I've been picked to go on stage, but this time I actually would have!

    Part 2

    Part 3

    Part 4

  8. Well, I wouldn't call it "naughty." "Naughty" implies some forgivable mischief that may even be cute. With the Fratellis, I want to punch them in the face.

That may be fun though. You should tell me if they ever plan to do that again!

    --Jack

Hahahahha!!! :lmao: :lmao: They might be too drunk to notice it!:naughty:

I'll warn you for the next US free session:wink2:

  9. *wipes tear from eye*

Okay, so I was looking for David's thread because I can never remember if his last name is Whitney or Whitey, but then I saw this one and figured I should probably come in here instead.

I'm the same, I go through phases of liking them and then thinking they are stupid, and I have not seen any interviews, should I probably keep it that way?

I'm so poor, I'm meant to be saving but stupid me bought expensive tickets to see them at the end of the month. Tickets which are now going for triple the price on ebay :das: ... but despite the number of times I have considered selling them, I am going. :naughty: So, Fratellis thread-goers, try your best to turn me into some kind of a semi-Fratellis-fan-gurl, at least temporarily. :naughty:

You want us to make you love them??? Do you really need us to do that??

    :wub2:

cover (it's a bit out of sync, but still)

    Baby Fratelli

Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night

    (acoustic) :wub2:

I could go on for ages, but I have to wake up in 3 hours and a half, and I'm still packing.:naughty: Do NOT sell your ticket!! Go to the show, I'm sure you'll love it!! Which show are you talking about, btw?
