Well, i've heard about Mika because I heard "Grace Kelly" at the radio: i immediately loved it and needed to listen to more songs of him! right after that came the album, the mikasounds site, this fanclub, his myspace.. And the videoclip of Grace Kelly i had to watch it on YouTube because i've never seen on my tv. Usually i'm not that "obsessed" with the 'music thing', i prefer cinema and stuff like that. But with Mika it's different, he kinda opened a new world to me, never in my life any kind of music made me feel this way.

So, if i hadn't heard his music i would have never came to know anything about him, maybe i'd say he's very hot (which is totally true! omg, he's so cuuuteee!! ), but without his wonderful music i think i wouldn't be here, posting messages about him..

omg, i wrote the new Divina Commedia! lol

So..here we are. Mika performed at about 00.15: he's been introduced by a woman who knew nothing about him: "Born in Lebanon, grew in London and lives in Paris, he's 20 years old...." grrrr, get informed before introducing an international guest!

By the way, he sang Grace Kelly (he was so hoooott! he wore a total white suit), there were even his band but the music was the cd playing...

Looking forward the 12 april to come to see him with my own eyes!!

Mirtilla, I didn't know of Hopper but I looked him up. I recognize a few of the pictures-- some seem so sad, no? I think I see what you mean about the colouring-- very dramatic, exagerated, almost theatrical maybe?

i really like Hopper paintings, especially The Nighthawk. What that picture remnds me is a painting where there's a house, and 2 or maybe 3 women..it is set near a sea..and the way Mika is dressed reminds that atmosphere
