    Prada verkoopt 4 prototype rokken.. One-of-a-kind.. En daar kun je dan op bieden.. En d'r is zo'n hele mooi bij.. Oranje met patchwork enzoo.. Echt heeeel mooi.. Maar het hoogste bod tot nu toe is €1700.. En zoveel geld heb ik niet meer, dus nu heb ik een probleem :tears:

    Neen, daar wil ik liever niet aan denken.. Denk dat Mika dan hier had moeten neerzetten dat ik eventjes niet meer online zou kunnen komen ... :boxed:

    CosmoGIRL! Interviews Ryan Ross

    PATD released their second album, Pretty. Odd., and embarked on the Honda Civic Tour, having already played numerous sold-out shows across the United States. But there’s something unique about this tour — it’s green! Not only will fans get to listen to cool music, but each venue will be full of eco-efficient technology to check out, and a portion of all ticket sales will go toward environmental protection! We think that’s pretty cool, so we had a chat with PATD guitarist-songwriter Ryan Ross to discuss.

    WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO DO THIS TOUR?

     

    We’ve never had a tour sponsorship before. We were originally pretty against it, but the people at Honda are really doing it for a good cause. There are a lot of things going on that we felt were a good idea. A dollar from each ticket goes to help nonprofits that are trying to reduce global emissions and make concert tours environmentally friendly. Everything we do on this tour is trying to reduce our environmental footprint, which we thought was a good idea.

     

    DO YOU THINK YOU WILL PERSONALLY CHANGE FROM IT?

     

    Yeah. Before the tour none of us were really aware about much environmentally. I mean, we had obviously heard on the news about global warming, but when this opportunity came up we wanted to do it for ourselves to learn more about what is really going on. And now we are recycling and reading up on issues. So, I think it will definitely change some things for us, even immediately.

    YOU GOT TO DESIGN (AND AUTOGRAPH) A HONDA CIVIC HYBRID. TELL US ABOUT IT.

     

    We designed the interior, and the outside as well. Since there’s a green theme, we wanted to make it very whimsical, with a lot of elements of nature. It looks like a mural from the ground up — from the grass to the rabbits and other animals, and into the sky with hot air balloons. It’s pretty cool. It’s one of the newest hybrids, and at the end of the tour a fan will win it.

     

    HOW IS PRETTY. ODD. DIFFERENT FROM YOUR FIRST ALBUM?

     

    I think we’re playing a lot better than we used to. It’s just the four or us — we aren’t using any samples or anything. I guess you could say we’re more about sounding good than looking good.

    YOU GUYS SHOT TO FAME SO QUICKLY. HOW DID YOU DEAL WITH THAT?

     

    Well, we’re having a lot more fun with it now. It was kind of a weird situation at first. We used to be a little afraid of what was going on around us. I mean, we were just 17-year-old kids and all of a sudden there were people looking up to us and knowing every word to our songs. But we try not to think about that kind of stuff too much. Just as long as we’re writing songs that we like and people like, that’s all that really matters. It’s not about being famous — all I ever wanted to do was play music, not have to have another job, and have somewhere to come home to when I wasn’t on tour. So, we’ve done a lot more than I ever thought we would!

    I saw her yesterday (the 29th)

     

    It. was. awesome. :punk:

     

    First of all, the opening act (Tom Baxter) got sick, so we got Sam Lewis to play for us before KT. He was great (If you have the chance to buy his cd, DO IT!)

     

    So when KT got on stage the crowd went mental :roftl: SHe was like "Dankjewel" (Dutch for 'Thank You') After that she began with Little Favours. It rocked. It was sooo loud haha. Then she told us about all 'her' miniature disasters for the day (like, having to wear school uniforms all the time, and when you didn't have to, cause you had schoolholidays you needed to work but when you got there you got fired on the spot, then you'd go home, but there would be this whole mass of people (a caravan on ponies or something) who'd run over you and you got this BIG gash on your thigh, for which you needed to go see a docter, who happens to be your ex-boyfriend (who you still like) and has to cut open your trousers to see this really bad underwear you happened to have picked out that day I'm sure it's not as funny having me telling you but anyway..) So when she got us all feeling lucky we weren't in that situation she played Miniature Disasters

    Followed by Other Side Of The World, Hold On (including the Mass Bodypop :mf_rosetinted:) White Bird ('S.hite Bird') Funnyman, Black Horses (or 'Crack Whores') which she while wearing this big orange scountry hat on from someone in the crowd, because it wass Queensday for the Dutchies.

     

    For the solo tune, we got to choose between guitar or piano, ("bring on the clapp-o-meter") And alsmost everyone voted for the piano, so she played Through The Dark..

     

    Then we got Ashes, which was awesome! Kenny was wearing his fabulous washboard tie :mf_rosetinted: Followed by Hopeless, Under The Weather, Beauty Of Uncertainty, Another Place To Fall (ROCKED!!), If Only, Saving My Face and Suddenly I See. After SIS the crowd went totally crazy!

     

    After that the band left the stage but came back for the encore

     

    KT and the the backing vocal girls played Universe & U after they had gotten some gifts (a teddy bear and a ridicilous wig (orange of course) :naughty:) And after Universe & U we got Stoppin' The Love and I Don't Want You Now which was almost too much! The whole crowd was jumping and clapping and stuff! It was GREAT!

     

    Too bad I didn't bring a camera.. :blink: All I had was my phone :tears:

    Die filmpjes zijn wel met beesten die gewoon de paarden & mensen aanvielen .. daar ga je niet even lief naartoe en vragen of die alsjeblieft even naar buiten willen gaan :naughty:

     

    Hoe ik dat zou doen? Heel simpel: niet.

     

    En waarom vallen die beesten de paarden en de mensen aan? Misschien omdat ze zo opgefokt en gestresst zijn dat ze niet weten wat ze anders kunnen doen.. Als jij dag in dag uit achterna wordt gezeten door een of andere malloot die een beetje zn longen uit zn lijf roept om jou in een hokje te krijgen.. Tja, dan vind ik het niet zo vreemd dat zo'n beest zn agressie kwijt moet

    Diana heeft een tijd terug gezegd dat er nog geen nieuw deel mocht gemaakt worden, omdat ze gingen kijken wat de nieuwe server deed met grotere threads .. Dus ik denk dat we het beste wachten tot ze aangeven dat er een nieuwe moet gemaakt worden :wink2:

    En nog 2 filmpjes ..

    Bij het eerst filmpje zie je een koe die geen zin had om naar buiten te gaan, die had eerder ookal de paarden (en mensen) aangevallen .. En toen ging dat bruine paard zich eens moeien :naughty:

     

    Bij het tweede filmpje zie je in het begin dat zwarte paard wegsprinten, dat was weer zo'n aanval-koe en dat zwarte paard had op dat moment even genoeg koeien gezien voor die dag, vond er ineens helemaal niks meer aan :bleh:
