And as for the show tonight? Well, what can I say? Would you believe me if I told you that it was just as good as last night? Even BETTER than last night? Well, in some ways it was! Mika was so happy about getting his ass to #1 on iTunes, he just about exploded with jubilation. I couldn't take too many videos because, once again, we ended up in the front row, and Mika was looking right at us, asking us to sing and, well, it would have been rude NOT to! I thought I recorded a better version of Stardust, but as I was recording, Mika looked at me and extended the microphone toward me and I just thought

 

So I turned the camera off and sang. Sorry guys.

 

Set list was the same as last night -- alas, no Overrated or Step with Me as he had hinted at the night before.

 

But everything else was fantastic so how can you quibble?

 

I'll try to get a few photos up and maybe one video, we'll see how long I can go before the adrenalin runs out.

 

Fuller reports on both night to come once I get back home tomorrow... unless I decide to go to Chicago on Thursday.

I'm glad you guys enjoy it and wished I was there. I hope because of the iTunes success he might decide to come back this way and actually spend sometime with you guys.

We were stressed about not having physical tickets, but we got that sorted. It was also fantastic that we didn't need to queue at stupid o'clock. We ate breakfast close to the venue and got there after. The weather was wet so they took us in early. It was a little chaotic but the security woman helped make sure that we got in a fair and orderly fashion (as much as she could).

Shortcut - Mika was in top form, having fun, confident.

I had all my tickets and travel plans done - then something happened here at work, and I was told I could NOT get off - and if I called in ANY day I would not have a job to come back to. So, I had no choices in the matter. I am a wreck today. More then MIKA or anything else I REALLY was looking forward to the queue and meeting certain MFCers that I have been waiting YEARS to meet. Some of my FAVORITE people in the WORLD like Kira, Indy, Kreacher, Nas and my DEAR Rainbow Girl. And YOU Lucy. I really wanted to re-connect with the bestest friend I have ever had. Fate was not on my side. So, here I am rolling with the punches.

Life can be a bicth sometimes! I was looking forward to spend time with you. Hope he comes back again and maybe you can come then!

Pandora I was trying to answer you last night but MFC just wouldn't take my post.

 

When Mika came out to see us inside the theatre in Seattle it wasn't a typical situation. It's something one of the MFC admins arranged with Team Mika before the show. The reason he took the group shot with us instead of us filing past like the rest of the fans is because MFCers had the chance to get individual photos with him in Oakland 2 nights before. Also he was pretty wrecked on painkillers which is why he came and sat down I think

 

Anyway you're right that he does go out of his way to make time for fans, I think especially in the US. These shows are going to be special because he hasn't been back in so long.

 

Chimacuito there are never any guarantees but if he does come out, just stick with the other fans and I'm sure you'll get to see him.

Good information ! Very nice of you to do that. Sometimes fans can be selfish and not share but you are the opposite
