I didn't get my tix through the fanclun presale or amex. I think he sold out for the Amex presale. Now I just have to wait til Friday

I think I had a good 2009. When it comes to MIKA I had an AMAZING year.

I got 2 hugs from MIKA, and a picture. I got to see him 3 times

Yes, everyone is learning that Mika wrote the song, and he's getting the writing credits. I don't want to take anything away from Stephen Gately. I'm sure he did a brilliant recording. But I am so happy for Mika, especially after the injustice that has happened with Rain in the UK.Hopefully, this song will be a fitting tribute to Stephen, and also great for Mika's career!

Well here's my own report thread, enjoy!

 

 

LET IT SNOW with Utada Hikaru (names are reversed in Japanese)

 

It's 2.30am, Mika might be watching twinkling Tokyo...I need my bed!!

 

I just watch the video again and it appeared Mika got a bit intimidated by her

I love how they look together!!!

I am back. I have a lot of feelings to process at the moment. So many highs, so many wonderful things, but to be honest for now, it is all too raw, and I honestly was dying to meet him properly, you know I was, to have my 30 seconds to tell him I enjoyed the shows or whatever.... but it didn't happen.

 

He was mobbed by Japanese fans after the secret show, and then at the end there were all these minor celebrities getting to go up and have pics with him, and here was us at the back, respectfully waiting. And he never came to see us.

 

The acoustic show was super special, Tanaami's art on the walls, it looked amazing, and they served coffee and tea and special cakes. Delicious cakes with I see you/rain etc like those ones we saw from before. He played for about 30 minutes, and then I think the intention was to have everyone circulate like an old fashioned c0cktail party...but of course people mobbed him. Well this is Japan, so actually they rather politely mobbed him. But a mob is a mob.

 

And I would like to post a special message to those people who read MFC and don't post, but who enjoy all the information/photos/links that I work so hard to upload both here on MFC and also on the Japanese mixi site.

 

I do this because I totally love this fan club. I totally love Mika and his music. I don't do it for any sort of recognition, not for any special access/bonus Mika meetings, I am not his personal friend. I am "just a fan" like you.

 

He followed me on twitter for ONE DAY so we could arrange for some JAPANESE fans (not me) to get into the acoustic gig to thank them for the presents. I got my acoustic ticket through the lottery, just like everyone else, my seiri bango was #33. And he is not following me now.

 

So, is it really necessary (every single day:mf_rosetinted:) to criticize me publicly on the Japanese fan sites??? Aozora-san is the FBeye, do you think I don't know what gets written??? Get a life. You all had a great time while Mika was in Japan, and I am really happy about that. But not all of us got the chance to speak to him, and for now, I am going to go and hide under a rock for a bit.

I love everything you do for all of us, specially now. I live in the US and obviosuly I am not wealthy enough to follow MIKA EVERYWHERE HE GOES. But thanks to everything you do and the other mods, I get to experience the shows here!!!!

Why are you all hijacking ma REPORT thread??? I am run off my feet trying to find those fans who made him the presents I didn't even see, I only saw a photo and I asked the girl to join MFC and post us the photos but not confident it will happen...

 

I am also being harrassed left, right and center with Japanese emails and tweets and FB messages and YT comments, many of them thinking I can get them into the secret gig tonight, and I cannot keep up...and I thought last week was the tsunami...

 

I feel like I am the volunteer fan liaison officer (and I thought dcdeb's job was hard:wink2:) But I have to keep saying NO, sorry, I cannot tell you where the secret gig is being held. I went to the venue before with Miina, it is a VERY small cafe, but can you believe it, some fans were already there, drinking tea...but we have entrance numbers thing again, of course, this is Japan!!

 

When my feet touch the ground again, I will put it all together in a nice report. But for now those vids from last night will have to do. I actually have 3 kids at home with no mother(even though Mrs P kindly commented she thought I looked too young to have 3:biggrin2: I can hardly say to her, this is the effect your SON has on me:roftl:) I also have real life happening at the same time.

 

I am having a ball, don't mistake me, running on adrenaline, but couldn't we all do without the extra crap. I do hope I get to meet Mika tonight. I would like a small opportunity to be a respectful fangurl But I know all too well from others' experience, no matter how much you hope and wish, it is all in the hands of a tall and skinny man. I might be begging for tweet help later:aah:
