Oh, and my opinion of Sara (I've yet to see her perform) is that instead of performing to us, the audience, he performs to some extent, to her in a duet style and it is this fact that makes us all a little edgy!

 

We are not upset by any other members of the gang, everyone loves cherisse and Lorna, but it seems to me it's that sharing the stage and the songs that makes it hard to accept her.

 

Obviously as the shows get bigger and more polished they couldn't just have Martin singing at the top of his range and cherisse isn't a singer..........so a female backing singer is the obvious answer.

 

It has been mentioned that it would have been better to have had more than one...which I agree with totally as it would remove the element I'm referring to but maybe that will come when the funds allow.

Hello BVS! You have obviously missed the thread where we first discovered Sara or Saraynade or smt.

She is indeed Mika's new backing singer, and after her appearance at the first gig of the current European tour a thread was opened basically saying what you are saying.

Then it got a little ugly and personal so the thread was pulled.

 

So it went like this.

We hate her.

People told off and explained how it is Mika's decision how he runs his show.

We love her.

Thread pulled.

 

There is now a thread for her somewhere on the forum.

 

I haven't seen her myself, so am waiting to make up my mind.

 

I did think the EMA performance was cracking though and I enjoyed the band and the lollipop girls and dancers etc.

i mean i kinda do like her, and she soudns great but i think if io seen her perform live or even met her it would help.

she really is a GREAT singer!!!! in missionary man and happy ending she is just wonderful with mika!! it seems like mika really enjoys singing or i guess interacting with people on stage

Ok, i think Mika is the greatest ever, no words can describe his uniqueness and greatness, but i want to know why at his gigs and performances( ie MTV EMAs) he his performing with a backup singer. he doesnt need another singer on stage backing his singing up!

who was the woman with blue hair who he peformed with at the EMAs and whos the woman in the kinda ra-ra girl outfit at his concerts (i have seen her in some gig photos)?

Also, at the EMAs i think that his performance was absolutely astonishing and admirable (is that a word?), like he himself and his band gave an amazing peformance, but i didnt understand why he had the massive puppet(that was also great, i loved it) and the dancers in the masks and stripy jumpsuits and the half naked woman dancing around and the woman with the blue hair.

personally i dont think that he needed all of this and i dont think that this was Mika at all or it wasnt one of the best performances!

Sorry, i just needed a little moment and rant, and to see if other people felt the same or could help answer my questions. i mean sure enough im a massive fan of Mika, but i dont have to love everthing he does, do i?

Mika is you read this i would like to let you know that just because you didnt win any awards doesnt mean your not great, you do have the most addictive track of the year and you are the greatest solo artist of the year as well, you dont need an award to prove that your the greatest person and musician ever invented in the history of music, you still have all of your fans that will stick with you throughout your entire career and beyond (lol) and dont forget you are constanty gaining new fans!!!!!!

i loved this when i found out, just by curiosity and complete boredom (to see what i could find), becasue when watching vids on youtube sometimes they can be a bit pixely and i hated spending ages searching and watching the music channels in antisipation to watch the video.

I was inspired to this train of thought after reading the thread, "Big Girl You Are Beautiful" No.33 on the UK chart on Downloads ALONE! by Suzy. I've been thinking recently that my butt & thighs looks a little more voluptuous than it should be (alright, so i may hv let myself go). in the past this would have made me throw a sort of temper at my own flab. but now, every time i feel the urge to moan about my reflection, i make myself think of 'Big Girl'.... and then start humming it...and then can't stop...

 

The point is, has the song made u think a little differently about ur thunder thighs (assuming u have them)? It's one thing to read magazines that tell u it's OK to be pleasantly plump; it's another thing altogether when the man of ur dreams advocates it. heh

i am a big girl and have absolutely been inspired by the song, as soon as i heard it and still every time i listen to it, i get a massive confidence boost. I have also started to love myself and pose in the mirror and do different poses in different outfits. lol. :blush-anim-cl:

but i dont care, i am who i am and thats it!

ive finally realsied that i am beautiful!!!

also, i talk to more people now whereas before i was shy!!!!
