    Oh..I LOVE TEA!

    My mum calls me "My little english girl" because I HAVE to drink tea or my afternoon wouldn't work!

    and in Italy you can't get a really good tea..:thumbdown:

    the one they do in bars is just awful so I drink tea only if I can do it personally..quite obsessed I have to say! :blink:

    I voted! for Mika of course.

    but this made me think for a while about the difference between those who I consider HOT men and the type of guy I consider my IDEAL man (only about physical aspect)

    Anyway...maybe Mika is not the hottest one to me but damn if he is hot!

    and he's my ideal man soo...:naughty:

    Nice thread! :cool:

     

    My Interpretation is really connected to my life,to my love life!

    Maybe the fact that Mika has never explained its meaning makes it more perfect to me.

    It makes me think of my boyfriend,of all "the things we left unsaid",of all the sadness and the pain that our breaking up caused me.

    It does make a lot of sense to me in fact.

    ...too hard to explain.

    You know,when you feel that there have been lots of missunderstandings and the only thing you can do is taking it in your own way and saying "this is my interpretation and I KNOW it don't make sense,but it don't have to make sense to you at all"...*sigh*

    as far as italy is concerned, the government is increasing the cost of sigarettes :thumbdown: cos we've got a big national debt.and doing this they have a lot of "secure" money cos they increase a 10 cent every 8-9 months (i think) and people don't give over to smoke...:thumbdown:

    COME ON !!! :shocked:

     

    smoking isn't disgusting !! people have smoked for ages and it's not because governments want to ban it that it should be described as " disgusting " !!

    Okay it's bad for health, but why should smokers be judged by non-smokers if they don't disturb them with smoke ?

    all this big talking about smokers...sometimes it just pisses me off.

    of course because I'm a smoker too but why do people have to give so easily judgements about the others?

    Hello everybody!!!

    I've been sooo busy in the past few days that I couldn't find a moment to post in MFC...but I've been checking it everyday!

    *wonders who cares about her absence :boxed: *

    Anyway...I logged in and this thread was the first one that came to my eyes!

    because we already discussed about this,didn't we?

     

    Mika..a smoker? mmh..dunno.

    looking at his teeth I would say NO but I know some people that have smoked since 2 years or so and their teeth are gorgeous so..that's not the clue.

    as for his voice...the beloved Freddie was a smoker but also an awesome singer.

    and as regards Mika's sentence about drugs...I interpreted it as "I don't because I'm already too crazy" too.

    maybe the point is the fact that he seems to need perfection in whatever he does so I would say NO,he doesn't smoke.

    but hey....who knows?

    personally I don't care about it.

    lol yeah you're right ^_______^ !! it's just that we are currently planning our holidays ( we are making a whole trip in northen italia it's gonna be great :naughty::roftl: ) and i've just realised that most youth hotels were nearly full !! :shocked: i was quite shocked about that, but it's not surprising since everybody wants to go to italia :mf_lustslow: !!

     

    Me and my friends are planning our holidays too so I understand you!!!

     

    evrybody wants to go to Italy??? omg I wished I could live in France or (better) in England!!

    does someone want me to sell him/her my italian nationality!?!?!?:naughty:

    hi !! i'm french and i'll be going to the festival with 3 of my friends !! i think that we will be completely lost when arriving, since we don't speak a word of italian, and we don't even know where arezzo is ( is it the name of a town :boxed: or smg ? can we get there in car when arriving from Florence ?) ... And we won't know any hotel or youth camp .... well, we can always sleep in the car, that's not a real problem lol :roftl: !!

     

    But that would be great if we could meet someone before the festival, just so as not to be completely lost lol :thumb_yello:

     

    the festival is in Florence! it has been in Arezzo for many years but they moved it!

    don't worry I'll be able (I'm sure that's the same for all the others italians of the MC) to meet whoever wants before getting to the concert!

    but hey...we've got plenty of time!

    about the OCD..it's a very common thing.sometimes people don't even know they suffer from it!

    for example I realized I have some kind of an obsession for odd numbers some months ago!

    sooo weird!

    some things HAD to be done a odd number of times!like the number of pages of a book I read in a whole day (and I'm a very good reader,I read Les Miserables in 4 days!!!) and so on...

    but it has never been a real difficulty..it has almost disappeared since I didn't notice my obsession!

    at least I hope.. *counts the number of lines she wrote* :naughty:

    how many €10,00 tickets will be available?

    infinite? lol

    as Mika plays after 9.00 and thousands go to see him (3.000 in milan...), isn't there the risk they close up admittance to the concert very early?

    Or maybe the €10,00 tickets have to be booked?

     

    ARGH, I'M PANICKING!:shocked:

     

    as long as Arezzo Wave has been here in Arezzo they never closed up admittance.

    of course paying 10 euros after 9 pm it's also a way to prevent a too much crowded evening.

    I'm sure that the new place for Italia Wave is much bigger than the one it had here so I don't think there will be any problems.

    the only thing is arriving when they open the gates,not later.

    the so called Main Stage used to open at about 7.30 pm.

    Anyway I'll search more informations for you.

     

    PS:the artists of the Main Stage have about 20 min to perform.bit it can be more.it depends on the number or artists who are going to perform I think

    I love this thread!

    In the last few days I've been trying not to get myself so over-obsessed with Mika...I didn't succed very much in doing it!

    On saturday and Sunday I was in Viareggio..I could have gone to the seaside but I had no time coz I had so many things to do but I menaged to avoid the word "MIKA" for about 2 days..

    until I was in the car with my friends and "Grace Kelly" was on the radio.

    One of my friends (a boy) said: "I love this song" and that was the worst thing he did coz I started chatting about Mika.

    Soooooo...the first thing I did when I came back home was switching my mp3 on and listening to LICM (I'm now addicted to Erase....sigh..it's so sad) for 3 times before my mum asked me (not very gently I have to say) to spend some time with her..since I hadn't seen her for 2 days.

    She was right!

    I enjoied to stop with all my MIKAMIKAMIKAMIKAMIKA :naughty: ...

    BUT IT WAS SO DAMN DIFFICULT!

    So I'll try to translate it for you

    He's only 23 years old but he's the new music's "phenomenon".Mika has been noticed through Internet ("my music is a stranger to the concept of majors") and has achieved success with the single "Grace Kelly" getting to the top of the world hits.

    No affettactions of the artist outside of the lines, a little bit late-comer,but nice,kind and cheerful.So we got to know Mika,and we even menaged to ask him why he doesn't talk about his sexuality.

    "Hi! I'm Mika,an alcholist of pop!"

    The premises for a sparkling meeting with Mica Penniman (this is his true name) there were all.

    And it can be forgiven also the fact that he has arrived an hour later to the appointment.

    But this is Mika,as colored as his music.

    I've made my own interpration of these words.He was referring to the majors and people that didn't accept his music.

     

    After the "professional" subject , we try to understand more of the phenomenon of which everybody talk.

    For his falsetto he has been compared to Freddie Mercury but Mika doesn't get upset: "Comparing artists is a normal thing.Freddie is a genius/myth but comparing me to him it's exaggerated."

     

    English tabloids are getting crazy because they want to know more about his sexuality:is he gay or not?

    "People tell me that I don't say much about me because I'm having success also in USA-he declared to a site. "Now I'm concentrating on my music,there's no utility in exposing myself to the public.I think I have to decide what people have to know and what they don't have to. (Another of my interpretations)

    And if you want to understand something more you only have to read the lyrics of "Billy Brown",contained in his debut album,LICM.

    A man has an ordinary life,kids and wife but one day he decides to give up everything and escape to Mexico with.....a man.

    The meaning is clear and the declaration he made at the end of the song during the Alcatraz concert,it's even clearer:

    "I think Billy Brown likes DICO!"

    like saying PACSin spanish but there are lots of differences.But they won't approve this law here,I'm afraid.

    That's the end of the "sexual" subject.

     

    Mika then told us about his childhood."At the beginning in Libano,then in France in Paris and finally in London."

    A lot of removals because of the Gulf War and of the kidnapping of his father,a rich american banker.

    In London it began his passion for music,also because of his dyslexia.
