We all know that Mika's next album will be as wonderful if not more so (is that possible????!!!) than the first, i know i will go to the ends of the earth to get my hands on a copy the second it comes out. Its great he's got himself a healthy obsession! One that benefits us all! I can only imagine what the new songs will be like! I hope a date for release is announced relatively soon!!!

alrthough I can say that i hope Mika isn't like some artists who like to disappear off the earth while writing new music.

huge thanks to Avoca and Rak - Rose for getting me a wrist band for the after party and to JOhn the manager for giving me 3 more for my daughter and friends who were in my car.

 

amazing gig - then all went to bar after - allband came out and chatted - including Mika - he did a toast to us all and we genrally just chatted and stuff

i am so incredously jelous of you!

With regards to waiting in line, the pushing, the shoving, etc, I do think seated venues are ideal. The only downside is that you can't wait in line really early to get front row. The most dedicated Mika fan might be in the back, while someone who doesn't really care might be front row. That kind of sucks. (But I would love it if MFC members could get pre-sale tickets.)

 

For those of you who don't know, I've been a Hanson fan for over 10 years, and Hanson fans are CRAZY. Fans would spend the night outside venues to get front row the next day. I just don't have the dedication to do that. I wouldn't make it.

Oh! it's a long story

Basically,

We were in the airport, after a long wait of 6 hours on a plane, they decided to take everyone off of the plane due to some problems.

this was last february,

basically i was sat up waiting, and i saw a man aimlessly wondering around the airport,

so i ran over to him and realsied who it was!

i shouted mika, but byt hsi point he waas to far away to notice,

later on, we had to re check in, at this point i was well upset cos i thought id missed my chance to meet him, when i heard - Frankie! loook!

and i turned round,

and checking in next to us was mika

we got a photo and said goodbye!

THEN

later on, waiting to board the plane i saw him sat on his own,

we went over and talked

we found out he had been on OUR same delayed plane

and we were all in our pyjamas, and he was like

"mmm pyjama sheek!"

and we were all laughing and joking,

then we showed him a video of us dancing to grace kelly in our hotel room

and he was saying for us to put it on youtube

basically yeah we just had a conversation about why we were in new yorkk,

and how gorgeous he was,

we got lost in conversation and he turned round to hear

"LAST CALLING FOR FLIGHT ...."

and he was like "**** girls i have to go!, i didnt realis that was my plane!"

he was so lovely

im so glad i found him in the airport haha

I thought he said he was taking a long break from gigs to concentrate on his new album? That's what I thought I heard anyway.

i met mika again last night

he remembers everything from new yorkk

we were like on a roundabout to get to brixton, when i saw like a huge crowd of people and cameras and what looked like to be mika in the middle, so i lept out of the car and ran over to him

there were people like MIKA MIKA!

and i just shoutedd "mikaa!" and he turned round and looked at me and erin,

then i was like

"Hii do you remember us from last year in new york city?"

and he was like

"oh yeahh! you're the girls who made that video, and haha remember we were all in our pyjamas?!"

andd i was like

"yessss"

and he was like

"that plane was a ****ing nightmare, i mean, er, nightmare "

then all the paparazzi like moved out the way as they realised he knew us

then he was like

"so how are youuu?!"

and we said

"yeahh we're good you?"

and he saidd

"yess im good, arent you cold?"

and i was like "yes :)" haha

sorry that was random but i had to tell somebody

he like came into the crowd and i touched him hah

and we nearly got up on stage!

but everyone was doing it so we thought hmmm better not,

mannnn all his songs were amazing, it was so so so so so good

i forgot how much i loved him

he is so amazing

so im just going to say how clever mika is at answering his interview questions!

Do you think there’s a way to describe your sexuality without using labels?

Of course there’s ways of discussing sexuality without using labels. I think that if you want to discuss sexuality or just kind of sexual things to begin with, I think there definitely is. I think that’s far more interesting than talking about whether someone is agreeing to or refusing to use labels. I think that’s what your article -- and definitely your [cover] headline [Mika: Gay/Post-Gay/Not Gay?] was getting at.

Is that a conversation you want to have more of? Is it that you won’t talk about anything in your life regarding sex, or that you don’t want to talk about it in the terms that people have been asking you to?

I’ll talk about my opinions, and I’ll talk about my music, and I’ll write about my opinions or about my personal life stories in my music. I will not talk about labels, and I will not talk about over-categorizing things, because labels are the one thing that I’ve never agreed with -- simply because I just don’t fit into them in my own personal life. And yes, if someone’s willing to have an interesting conversation and take the time and patience to go into stuff like that, then yeah, I think it’s fascinating. But I write songs -- that’s what I do first. I don’t politicize myself or my life, and I am who I am. just think of the amazing show he is going to do in february

to be honest guys think
