  1. A little spoiler for the next episode 'I See a Lot of Dead People'.

Will is still missing. Jessika hasn't come home from the woods, so Sookeh needs to search Will on her own, as her BFF Lara is not willing to help. Sookeh travels to Screamport to meet Erik Normansson, the vampire sheriff of Area Five, at his club Fangtastic. She wants to ask Erik if he knows anything about Will's whereabouts. But Fangtastic really is not the right place for a lonely human girl...

  2. OMG! That was hii-larious! :lmao: I must share that on Facebook if you don't mind. :lmfao:

I have the same Edward and Bella... But I have repainted Edward. :teehee: What if I bring them to my show? :das: By the way, I have a lot of characters for my True Blood comic now. I casted actors to play Bill, Tara, Lorena, Pam and even Lafayette! :naughty: I will continue the first episode with a few more pages once I find out what happens next.

  3. Before I had even heard of True Blood I had nearly finished this Norwegian viking doll called Axl Strand. A lot of people have told me that he reminds them of Eric from True Blood. So I couldn't help doing this! :biggrin2:

  4. Don't read if you're not watching season three...

Oh-uh... Eric went back to being Mr. Nasty in last night's episode. I didn't like it. But I liked how Sookie imitated him! Is anyone else extremely irritated by the new vampire called Franklin? I think he's disgusting, even more so than Eric. Poor Tara, she just can't get a minute of happiness. And now she's being surrounded by this psychopath. I hope she didn't really think a vampire dies if you smash his head with a sledge-hammer? And somebody should really kick Lorena's ass alreary. Hey, wouldn't she be the perfect vampire bride for Franklin? They deserve each other! :naughty:

  5.

Does anyone have a favourite quote? mine is:

"No, c'mon Pam, they're funny. They're like humans, but miniature. 'Teacup humans'." :biggrin2:

    "Delicious." :mf_rosetinted:

My favourite quote by Eric is: "You're going to invite me in so I can protect you. Or have passionate, primal sex with you. Or how about both?" :naughty:

And by others... I don't remember them all by heart, got them from a quote site. :teehee:

    Sookie: Can all vampires fly?

    Eric: Can all humans sing?

Sookie : Are you kidding? I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket with a lid on it.

Sophie-Anne: Surely you know that everything that exists imagined itself into existence

Eric [after killing a werewolf]: I got your rug all wet.

Jason: There's werewolves? Big Foot, is he real, too?

    Sookie: I don't know, I guess it's possible.

    Jason: Santa?

Jason: What am I thinking about right now - like in my brain?

Andy: You're a good guy, Stackhouse. You got a lot of heart. You're prettier than most girls.

Pam: Now, why'd you have to go kill that maenad? She was a terrific decorator.

Godric: A human with me at the end, and human tears; 2,000 years and I can still be surprised. In this I see God.

Lorena [to Sookie]: Did you know your boyfriend hit me over the head with a 52 inch plasma television earlier tonight? Everyone says they're so thin and light, but let me tell you, when wielded properly, they're quite a weapon

Sookie: He's your maker isn't he?

Eric: Don't use words you don't understand.

Sookie: You have a lot of love for him.

    Eric: Don't use words I don't understand.

  6. I have been hooked on True Blood since I saw the first episode last spring. Luckily they started showing season two here in Finland right after the first season ended. But the pace was still too slow for me. The last episode I saw on TV was the fourth of season two. My sister had been watching all the episodes available on the internet, so I got bitten as well a couple of days ago... :naughty: I'm now in the middle of episode four from season three. :blush-anim-cl:

I liked the second season more than the first. It was all the fuss Maryann caused and Jason's dumbass actions that made me laugh a lot. :roftl: In addition I started seeing some humanity in Eric. That was disturbing, like he would say. He cried for the first time after 20 episodes! And by that he had already saved Sookie's life twice and offered his life in exchange for her and Godric's lives. I think the best thing about this series is the love triangle between Sookie, Bill and Eric. It's very interesting to watch. :thumb_yello:

I haven't read any of the books, but I think I might eventually have to. :teehee:

Here's where I've been watching True Blood: http://truebloodstreaming.blogspot.com/

    Across the Universe (cover)

And I probably forgot a few. :naughty:

    And why...

All these have a great tune and lyrics. Some of them have a personal meaning to me. The way I interprete them may be different than the real meaning. It's what I love about Rufus's songs as well as Mika's: they can be interpreted in more ways than one.

I like his version of Across the Universe more than the original by The Beatles. I think it suits his voice better, so it has more depth.

  8. Sounds amazing! :biggrin2:

I was ice skating last January to Elvis's music! And they do have a club meeting every summer in Finland. I have been to them a couple times. I should go again sometimes, but all my money goes to Mika gigs and my rather expensive collecting hobby. :sneaky2:

  9. I've been watching Rufus's movie scenes on YouTube. I'm sure

would be worth watching for its two beautiful scenes featuring an imaginary Rufus alone. How fabulously does he sing! :mf_lustslow: He sounds like a real opera singer. :stretcher:

I've seen Aviator years ago, but I wasn't a Rufus fan back then, so I couldn't know it was him. His scene is great in it, too.

What films have you seen that Rufus plays a part in?

  10. Does anyone on this thread love "Under pressure" with Bowie and "The days of our lives"?

"The days of our lives" is so moving, it's my very fav!

I love those songs! And I love a whole lot of other Queen and Bowie songs, especially those with the word magic: A Kind of Magic by Queen and Magic Dance by Bowie! :biggrin2::wub2:

But my favourite song by Queen must be Who Wants to Live Forever. It's so hauntingly beautiful - I have no words to describe how much it means to me. :boxed::stretcher:

  11. Ah, that's all right then. I posted a link to this thread. :teehee:

I still don't know what you mean about those inaccurate and slanderous statements in this thread. I have not seen any. As to using pictures and videos... I don't know who you are talking about, but perhaps they didn't know who owned the pictures and videos and couldn't credit because of that?

  12. Please - I would like to know how my post about the video for Rufus's version of Across the Universe was inaccurate? I simply stated that it wasn't on YouTube (or at least I couldn't find it) for a while.

Prussell716 quoted my post at first, but then edited his post. So it was clearly directed to me.

And if it wasn't just my post, then what else do we have in this thread that isn't accurate? I would really like an expert to explain. Obviously the Mika Fan Club is not the right place to come to if you want to know Rufus's every move, like Holly said.

  13. :crybaby: OH OH OH! YES - surely I would have fainted! I have never been on the front row at a RuShow - so yeah aaahhhhhhhh! And THAT outfit - WHY NO PICTURES! I would give my left arm to see a pic of that! :das:

I'm SO glad you waited for him - I love how EVEN when he is in a hurry (or has some place else to be) he STILL takes a moment for his fans! That is a beautiful thing! :wub2: And Marianne - YOUR drawing is literally TO DIE FOR! How large is it? Because it appears to be HUGE! :naughty: THAT my dear is PRICELESS! You are SO talented! I mean we already KNEW that - but, :mf_lustslow:

    Thank you very much! :biggrin2:

Oh, my drawing is only about 18 cm x 25 cm (7,1 in x 9.8 in). Pretty small. :blush-anim-cl:

Rufus only stayed for about two minutes, but still he signed stuff and even took a couple of pictures with fans. I didn't ask him for anything because he was in a hurry.

There are no pictures of Rufus in the night gown, because nothing was allowed during the first part of the concert. We just sat there quiet like mice when Rufus let his heart out. You could have heard a pin drop. It was very touching, and I got tears in my eyes during the last song, Zebulon. :tears::wub2:

  14. OMG! I just found a Finnish article about Rufus... Well, that's not the news, but the sort of the article! :lmfao: I'll translate it for you. It has been released on April 16th.

    http://www.iltasanomat.fi/viihde/uutinen.asp?id=2095756

Picture caption: "Rufus wants 50 Cent".

"Rufus Wainwright: You're gay, 50 Cent, come visit us!

Rufus Wainwright, especially known for his song Hallelujah, thinks that the rapper 50 Cent is something else than a ladies man.

    - I love, love 50 Cent. I think he is the sexiest and a brilliant songwriter. And I know that he is gay, Wainwright gets enthusiastic.

But where has the openly gay Wainwright got something like that into his head from?

    - Because of his cute little voice. It's okay, 50 Cent! Call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts in this field. You may come for dinner anytime. And maybe for dessert as well.

New York Post tried to get 50 Cent's comments about the subject, but the man kept quiet."

    I wonder why? :naughty:

  15. Hi! I'm a Robbie fan!! It comes years ago and in December 2009 I had the pleasure of meeting him and talking with him. It was one of my best days in my life!!! :biggrin2:

    12154_200116959731_849469731_2892549_6817090_n.jpg

Wow, that's great! You are lucky.

I have been Robbie's fan for the last 10 years, but I have yet to see him live. Maybe some day... At least I have hope again now that he has come back to making music and left the aliens be for a while. :naughty:

I haven't bought the new album yet, but I've been listening to it a lot on YouTube. I love it! :wub2:

  16. I don't think filming was allowed at all. I tried to film last time like Anzuzu told you, but I found out too late that it wasn't allowed. Perhaps they didn't see what you were doing. That's okay then. :biggrin2: My video is still on YouTube, so I don't think they will take yours down either.

Thanks for your compliment on my drawing!

As to my English... I'm pretty fluent in written English, and everyone always tells me so. But my spoken English really sucks sometimes. :naughty:
