I have just recently found this by chance on YouTube.

I was listening to it and thought to myself.

Mika would sound great doing a cover of this at one of his up-coming gigs.

 

The song has a bouncy feel to it and all the high notes and sounds in it. I can just imagine Mika singing it.

I don't know. In all the interviews that I've read, Mika always sounds harsh or harsh as compared to when I hear his voice saying it. But then I hear an audio interview, and even though the words aren't... exactly diplomatic (for lack of a better word), he sounds extremely sweet to me and very, very nice. I think he probably giggled in the interview, so they could've done with some of that, but... Otherwise, IMHO, Mika "sounds" harsh in print. Although, of course, I know he isn't; he's exceptionally sweet, but. *shrug* That's just the way he comes off in print, really... To me.

yea I think you're right. He has a way of saying things in interviews that have the potential to be rude, but the way he says it makes it sound kinda sweet lol that reminds me of the afterposten interview where he said, "i dont see any of that, i go outside and i see fat women". like im sure people reading it in print might find it offensive but in the interview he says it in such a way, he makes it sound so sweet. i think he can get away with alot with that smike and giggle of his

Yes, I understand completely. I've never really been obsessed over anything, until Mika. My friends were kind of shocked when they first realized how obsessed I actually am, since I've neever acted this way over anything or anyone. But they've accepted it now I guess, and if not, then too bad they're gonna have to They roll their eyes when I talk about him, but at least I've got them listening to his songs. Thats why MFC is such a relief. Everyone here understands, and I think I actually feel more comfortable saying things here than I do talking to some of my friends

But I think it's a great obsession! I've never been happier It's mika, or drugs... I'll stick with Mika

My mom actually really likes Mika! We listen to his cd aaallll the time in the car, usually with the music blaring and the windows down When i fist bought the cd, my mom kept listening to lollipop over and over. At the time, we were on vacation, so we were standing in the hotel lobby and she started quietly singing, "sucking to hard on your lollipop, hey loves gonna get you down..." . WEELL this elderly couple beside us just looked at my mom with complete disgust hahah it was hilarious.

but its great because everytime theres a music program on ( concert for lady diana, ect.) she hollers up the stairs saying Mika might be on. She also actually checks magazines to see if theres anything about Mika, and if so, she buys it. Sadly he's only in a few... but that will change... oh yess.. all in good time.

OMG i was just watching The Devil Wears Prada last night and i was thinking the same thing!! i agree there is a resemblance, but no doubt Mika wins that contest
