  1. Hi all,

A few weeks ago I went to a Hanson show to see the opening band Rooney (success, I met Rooney and all was perfect:blush-anim-cl:)

I didn't expect to like Hanson but then I realized that I actually did! After doing some research I found that "If Only" is my favorite song (So far)

Before the show, I saw this pretty blonde guy (at this point I didn't even know his name *shame but it was Taylor) with a megaphone leading a pack of girls. Then there were two other pretty boys and I thought, "Oh hey, that's Hanson."

These are the pics that I took. They're so sweet and really, super handsome. Enjoy!

I was at the merchanidse table, where Robert said they'd be and to kill time I thought I'd buy the new album. *bam* Someone started to rub my back and I turned around and it was Robert :naughty: So then he started talking to me and telling me about how he knows I'll love the album etc etc...really sweet dude. He took it out of my hands and signed it without me asking. HA :roftl: And then we took a picture. I left and he pinched my arm and got all up in my face and said more nice things.

My sister wanted a pic with him so we came back and we were laughing because I said, "Yeah, I'm back for more!" He winked and said, "Mhhhm, yeah you are!"

    Just plain hot.

Very humble, very nice and oh so charming.

EDIT : And THEN we thought we'd try and watch some of the Hanson show from the balcony. Who walks up behind us? Robert. So he said Hey and had such a cute smile on him. We kept bumping into eachother and I wasn't even trying to which is a first. Boy's good lookin and shorter than I expected. I'm definatley seeing them next time they're in town! Officially a FAN!

  3. :mf_lustslow: Seein them open up for Hanson in August. I'm new to them, but I love what I've seen and heard so far! Hanson on the other hand will be a labor of love show to sit through :naughty:
  4. Good afternoon Bendrew fans!

No reason for posting this other than a) it's v. recent (coachella) and b) it's cute.:teehee:

I've no idea..but usually they don't arrive until quite close to the day of the gig do they. when are you going? June?

Okay, I'll try not to freak out :teehee: My show's on June 18th :wub2:

  5. Hey for those of you who bought pre-sale for any upcoming tour dates...when do we get our tickets? I got no info on that in any email etc...

    WEIRD!

  6. I was 17. He was 23. (I can't believe that was three years ago) I like telling the story but to answer the main question here: I walked up to him and said "Hi, I'm Melanie!" and his eyes were bugged out really big and he had a smile plastered onto his face. It was his first time in Chicago and I was second in line to meet him. Since then he's gotten used to the crowds but way back when he was still very much a "newbie." He was very humble and sweet. I couldn't concentrate but I said some nice things as he signed my album. He asked me how to spell my name and it took me hours to shake the way my name sounded in his mouth. I had never heard it that way. "Melanie" so sweet and gentle. I cried when I got in the car from sheer happiness. In the picture we took I'm all up under his arm pit and it was pretty fabulous:wub2:

  7. a little patience :lmfao: I remember a lot used that line a lot before the new album came.

im glad he has added Dont Cry to the setlist after so many years of not singing it. He started to sing it again live in June 07 in Japan It wasnt planed... Bumblefoot... one of his guitarists... plaied it in his solo, Axl joined to sing and slowly the whole band. I think it sounds amazing...

    Aw, I love it :wub2:

This was in Argentina, love when the crowd sings it in the beginning before axl does.

They just needed to stop throwing stuff at the stage :sneaky2:
  8. still no tour dates for the U.S. Waiting patiently...All I need is just a litttttle paaaatience:teehee:

I think Axl's been rocking it. Besides some of the drama in Brazil with the stage collapse, he's being a bad ass but it doesn't seem arrogant this time around. His tweets are actually sweet.:wub2:

  9. Oooh, I'll have to join there. I was just confused as to where would be best. But you were a mod there? And Axl chatted with the fans? Whoooa  Did it get crazy? :teehee:

Right now, I'm obsessed with the new guitarist, Dj Ashba (he's pretty good looking)

And...he used to have long hair :aah:

He's 37, can you believe that?! He's just such a boyish way about him.

  10. Tristan from Legends of The Fall:wub2:

    cap026.jpg

Actually, this character is the reason why I love the name Tristan so much. I'm writing a story now called Escapists and the lead is a guy called Tristan. And Yes, I am in love with him, can you tell?

"The sun erupts every time it sees him walking down the street. It wants to beat down onto his body and kiss his face; cheeks eternally stained with the blush of his youth; lips softly perched atop the caramel skin it has caressed; hair that dances over his shoulders within golden rays of maple; eyes, restless aquamarine seas shimmering in the dirty iridescence of New York City. He is Tristan.

The month is July, the day a Friday and the hour noon. The heat scorches Tristan’s face and burns the cotton of his t-shirt into ultraviolet white. He rips it off and stuffs it into his back pocket while waiting for the ‘Don’t Walk’ sign to change on 5th avenue. He uses the rubber band around his wrist to tie a knot of hair at the nape of his neck; a guitar rests against his thigh. The sign switches and he strides once more. His walk is a rough, romantic stomp; his body tall, lean and sculpted; every indentation a ditch for sweat, especially the spaces between the knuckles where he grips the neck of his guitar. "

    He's a 1990's musician:mf_lustslow:

It's been a while since I've made a thread in here. (delete, if there's a thread already. I did search though!)

I really think these guys are amazing. I just saw them live on Friday here in Chicago and they were so cool. They opened the show for Wolfmother. After their set, they were hanging around in the bar just wandering around seperated from eachother so I chatted with two members :blush-anim-cl:

One is Dhani Harrison, the lead singer (If he looks familiar that's because his daddy's A Beatle)

    usanddhani.jpg

And the other is a new guitarist, Nick Fyffe. Who I got along with really well:aah:

    meandnick.jpg

They were both sweet and actually spent time talking with me and my sisters about random stuff. Like, we spoke to Dhani about him being half Mexican and bonded over that haha :biggrin2:

So, this is my favorite song of theirs: Yomp! I especially love that they're wearing mariachi suits halfway through :roftl:
