Nobody is ever going to know if Mika doesn't say anything about it... but it can of course be a mix of many things and he has had many experiences that can help him find his words for the lyrics. The great thing with his songs is that many can relate to them in different ways I think.....

I just found this post! I've got some family in Lebanon, my roots are there. My more direct family is from Armenia, but we have relatives in Lebanon and we've got things in our house from Lebanon, like Jewelry boxes, etc. We make Lebanese/Armenian food every so often, and celebrate that. And I know my (distant) family made rugs in Beirut about 30-ish years ago. They had a shop, I think.
