U2 - New Year's Day

It's very rare that I cry over songs, especially since I love depressing music (LOL), but if the lyrics of a song remind me of some immensely negative feeling like loneliness and/or hopelessness, I can get a little tearful. Actually, when I was a teenager, if I heard too many love songs, or too powerful a love song, I would often end up breaking down crying LOL. XD;

I'll admit that 2008 has been quite a crappy year for me, but I'll just list the good points:

- Got a new laptop

- Got into a good Tokyo university (Waseda) for my year abroad

- EUROVISION!! That's always the second biggest highlight of my year after Christmas LOL

- Discovered Vitas

- Made the most of the last few months of Oriental City's existence by having lots of lovely food (not to mention drinking copious amounts of strawberry pearl juice) and meeting some cool people there

- Came to Japan!

- Had loads of fun invading Shibuya over and over again XD

- Discovered Otto Dix

- Had a lovely birthday meal

- Various other innumerable musical discoveries XD

I just wasted loads of time on other websites instead

Pointlessly surfing the net before I eventually get on with my homework... I've gotta do a speech thing tomorrow aaaargh! *flail*
