Anyway, thanks for your reports.. Love the fact that he didn't realise that he was asking if everyone was horny! Too funny! Love the Jimmy & Mika love thing.. I think they may have ran into some problems with the props & wardrobe, but i think at every gig the props& wardrobe get damaged anyway and hence they constantly have to work on them...

Rosa, you sound bitter at the end, but I hope you see his point of view. I'm sure Mika likes what you've worked on..it's creative & fun! It's just that it can easily be mistaken as an official promotion by him (like what the rest have said)... not that he thinks that what you're doing is not good enough...(I'm sure) but they have their own ways of promoting... & as an artist... it's part of you... and how you'd like to be presented...so to have something else that is not part of you.. no matter how great it is .. be mistaken as something from you.. is not right.. (I hope I make sense)

You don't have to give up... we are all Mika publicists in our own little ways... and I'm sure if you're still all for promoting him.. there are ways to go around it...

Journalists: Hi this is Off Tv. third day at the Eurocks. We've slept well, just arrived. There's sun, its cool, and now we're waiting for Mika's press conference! Theres alot of people, its sunny, its cool!

Mika: Press conference in the forest!

Woman: Exactly! It's right beside a lake, you'll see its awesome.

Journalist: We're following Mika who has just arrived. We're going to the press conference right now. We're a bit in a hurry cause he's a bit late...

*at the press conference*

Mika: You want the truth?

Interviewer: Yes!

Mika: no!! you dont want the truth! The reason that im late is that me and 6 people on my team are victims of something we ate at a festival yesterday... So we're like that.. *makes zombie moves* 15 pills, and im a little like this...

Interviewer: Is it easy to assume the fact that youre beautiful, intelligent, rich and talented in your relationships...?

Mika:*in english* Is that a come on?? *people laughing* Cause thats the only flirtatious thing anyone has said to me in about 3 days, so i'll take it!! *giggles*

Journalist: he are all the volunters that are going to be dancing on stage with Mika. People from the festival () theyre all really well dressed and are gonna dance on stage later! Theres alot of people!! Its gonna be fantastic!

Mika: yeah... but.. even after all that, i still ahve the food poisonning! *giggles* Very glamourus... thats reality!

Journalists: it was awesome! there was at least 25 000 people jumping and screaming. Alot of energy both on stage and in the audience. They told us it was big in show.. its now confirmed... it IS big in show...

The one thing I am starting to feel disappionted about it that the days of Mika wearing different and interesting shirts and jackets at gigs seem to have disappeared. He has been wearing that red stripey T shirt and jacket since June 7th in Tokyo....it means all the footage begins to look sort of the same....and if he wasn't such a nice face to look at, the pics would be sort of boring....

 

Mika....change your outfit every gig please.

I agree with Iona... his costumes are getting too predictable lately.. no more fashion/styling excitement for many & pics & vids all similar! Yes Mika, change outfit!!!

okay so if anyone wants to read a more fangurly report this is it xD written just after the show.

 

OH MY GOD I JUST SAW MIKA FOR THE FIFTH TIME!!!!!!!

OMGOMGOMG(excuse my fangurlyness)

okej so first i got my wristband and then got in to the festival area and since I was alone (I was going to met a good friend who's a mikafan at six) and didn't have anything to do until six I just went around for a while and just observed the weird people looking for mikafans but I wasn't gone for long cos I was having a strange feeling that someone was going to do a soundcheck and that I was going to miss it. so I went to the scene(fantasia the next biggest scene on the whole festival are) wich wasn't even finished yet. by the time I sat down on the grass infront of the scene it was about 3:30 ( mika was playing at 21:30) and I just sat there and drew for a while and of course listened to some mikamusic =D

hours past by and at last my frien Kajsa came and we went to get something to "eat" we bought some chips and ate like five each and trew the rest away cos 1. we were too excited/nervous to eat and 2. people was standing up and getting rady to run to the stage as soon as the guards would move. so we stood up and then the guards told us that they were going to walk us to the scene and I was like thank god i won't have to run!!! but then some people on the right side started to run and I was like WTF?!?! and I started running aswell and got me and kajsa a preatty good spot

 

then Julian Casablancas started I didn't even know who he was xD well obviously he was famous cos the crowd was CRAZY to say the least xD I felt as if I was going to throw up my insides but I kept telling myself "it's worth it", "don't give up now!!" "omg mika is coming soon" and that kept me going

and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it! cos when Julian's show was over a lot of people went and we got the best spots ever!!! and then the nervous/excited wait came when they started to bring out all mika's stuff oh my how I wanted to cry or scream or whatever I just couldn't belive that I was actually going to see him!

then they brought out the letters and a safetyguard that stood infront of me who had been asking if I was fine like 4 times during julian casablancas asked me so are you going to make this? and I was like: HELL YEAH DUDE!!!!!

and you could just tell how all energy that must've been hidden somwhere deep inside of me came out as the time was getting closer and closer to 21:30

then the band came and took their positions and the fans went crazy and the other ones started to understand that they were the band and started screaming

THEN MIKA CAME!!!! (well about 15 minutes late but he's always late isn't he? xD)

and he started singing relax!!! and EVERYONE sang along!

now I won't tell you the whole gig details cos frankly I don't remember xD but I'll tell you the highlights!

SITM is my favorite song so I was sooooooooooooo happy when he sang it! and the trumpet solo:wub2: It's just so great.

and then he was going to play another song on his keyboard and he started with a tiny bit of the intro of MI and me and kajsa was like: EEEh is he really going to play that song?! here?! and then he started playing Billy Brown and we were both glad not because we don't like the song just because it would be embarassing to sing alang at the top of your lungs.... ALONE And people starter singing along to the chours for Billy Brown which was awesome

Another funny thing was when he introduced his band He introduced iMMa as the birthday girl and that was when we sang for her and then the rest of the band except for cherisse he was like: and this is hfkdhkajfdfnkj

like five times and we started to scream cheriiiiiiisse!and at last he sait alright alright and on drums miss ofosu osei (sorry if I spelt that wrong, not that it's the only thing I spelt wrong xD)

I love the beginning of WAG and happy ending was so beautiful <3 everyone made hearts with their hands including mika and iMMa

He was so cute when he spoke swedish (L)

after a while they told him they needed to hurry up and Mika told us that they were going to do 3 more songs and which were LT,GK and WAG

Jimmy started to play the intro of GK and mika was like nooo and hit Jimmy and the chased after him while starting to "sing" mostly laugh xD and when he at last accepted that he had to sing it he sang perfectly and everyone sang along (surprisesurprise^^) after the three songs they said thank you and all that stuff and went off stage but came back after less then 40 seconds and told us that they had given them time for another song! I starded screaming KIck ass! (which i knew he wouldn't play but still:naughty:) and they started to play lollipop which was the best ending the the best gig of my life!

Seriously I consider myself lucky to have seen mika so many times thatI have and I've enjoyed everyone of the gigs but there was something spesial this time.. I don't know what but something made this time 200%better than the other ones. maybe it was cos mika was happier? I think that even if you don't notice it the gig is much better if Mika is happy ofc. I mean he can always fake that he's happy and try to smile and mean it and we won't be able to tell that it's a fake smile but this time you could feel that it was "real" and he was glowing! just wanted to share this xD

Thank you for all your reports... sounds like you had the best time...

I'll try to keep this report brief ... as everyone has pretty much said everything already

 

I really needed a good gig after Amsterdam ... not Mika's fault but I'd lost the spark alittle bit .... I didn't get a good gig though I got a ****ing amazing one .... Every reason I've ever stated as to why I love Mika came back and bit me big time this weekend ... his music makes me happy ... even feeling as low as I have been ... I wasn't sure if he'd make me feel the way he used too ..... it was in bucketloads though .... the weather was absolutely gorgeous ... the place was just beautiful ... and the people I was with yet again made this an even more special gig .... I'm still quite quiet around people .... I still wish I was abit more outgoing like some of you ... but you always make me feel comfortable .... so it's not something I tend to worry about .... I'm just myself ..... was lovely spending time with you all again ... what can I say about the gig .... I just love watching him .... he just get's better everytime I see him .... it was just an amazing gig to be at .... was lovely to know so many fellow MFC'ers were up with him that night .... always makes me smile .... but Ingie .... god ... she's a flipping dynamo .... just loved watching her on stage during Lollipop ... so wished I'd filmed it .... but I was enjoying myself too much to film most of the concert .... one of the best perfomances I've seen of it ... and all down to her and Mika's reaction to her .... had a smile on my face the whole time .... I waited with everyone else for the M&G after ... didn't want anything signed but had a necklace I wanted to give him ... which I managed to do .... so was happy about that .... got a huge Sunflower as well .... which kind of made my night .... can't wait to see him again ... which is kind of normal .... V Fest in Chelmsford for me .... it's not enough though ... I've always said it's never enough ... and when you get a good gig .... you end up doing silly things .... like buying a Fringe ticket for Edinburgh I have V the night before ... I'm gonna be flipping knackered ... and ummmmmmmmmmmm broke ... but whatever ... It's Mika's fault ... it's nowt to do with me

Awww Laurel... nice to know your Mika LOVE is BACK ON!!! It's too easy to fall back for his greatness and charm.. Sounds like there will be more exciting adventures ahead.

Well, my defense was he had a long flight... of course he wants to get away but no matter what ..he is the sweetest Pop Star ever...how he remembers faces, names and the stuff you give him really amazes me.

it says the event has attracted many people to come... the fans went crazy... but i guess the most important part is that he refused to play the piano when the MC asked him to do so, and that instead of doing interviews after the event, he ran into the people and went away.

 

good for you, mika:teehee: the event was really such a big CRAP. it was okay at first... but then the MC just started asking stupid questions. the so-called "dressing mika-tofu competition" was even some sort of disasters IMO:boxed:

 

the audience screamed a lot though (i did sometimes as well). in the end it was really chaotic... bunches of people just ran after him. we couldn't get closer and then he'd already gone.

 

so, this event did have affected our mood... but then the gig turned out to be really amazing.

 

 

- LGs are all MFCers!!!! i was one of them. it's a shame that Sui wasn't there with us though

 

- he tried to speak Cantonese but it was all messed up. we couldn't get most of it! he changed back to English suddenly and that moment was confusing... i ain't sure if he'd said HE WAS SICK:shocked:

 

- he did KICK-ASS, OMS, AOW & MY INTERPRETATION!!!!!!!!! as far as i know, MI wasn't in the setlist before right?

 

- i got goosebumps for most of the songs!!!!! there might be something wrong with my body, but i love that:naughty: i almost cried for several songs even though i was just listening to them at backstage.

 

- mika did M&G to BGs & LGs (oh btw there are also "toy boy guys"? i only know the existence of them now ) after the gig. i had a hug & a pic with him:wub2:

 

- but then NONE of us could meet neither him nor any members of the band. i guess we were waiting at the wrong place?? luckily saw the car of John and he stopped to help receive gifts!! thank you John!!!

 

- i've met altogether like 16-17 MFCers today. this's super AWESOME, i really enjoy spending time with you girls feel free to post more here on MFC, don't be shy!!!

 

 

feel like i can talk forever now. but it's 5:15a.m.... better go to bed first and a full report tomorrow!!! and all parts of my body are arching
