  1. Hi guys,

Dean here (former owner of Mika Fan Club).

    It has been a while.

I listened to he album on Spotify last night, and it was 3am before I finished listening (very addictive)

My fav is One Foot Boy, I was surprised to see it winning this poll, I thought there were more immediate hits on the album, but I was pleasantly surprised.

    Rain is a great chorus.

Lover Boy reminds me of a Queen song, I can't remember which one, perhaps you guys can help me out there. It is very addictive though, but I swear, I thought it was a Queen cover (is it?).

We Are Golden - An instant hit, perfect first single, will have global appeal.

Dr John - Ok, this was really bugging me, the first line reminded me of a song, and I couldn't put my finger on it... but as I was writing this, it hit me: Oasis: The importance of being idle.

Again, perhaps you guys have already spotted this, bear in mind I haven't been back on MFC since I handed it over to the Mika management.

Good Gone Girl is back to the candyesque music of the first album, this is the closest song to fit the previous album's style imo.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hi again.

Great album, I prefer it to LiCM.

  2. I can fully understand Wendi's fellings.

I know that there have been a lot of things that have needed to be sorted out, legalities, small print etc etc. However, Wendi was the driving force behind this project...and put in a hell of a lot of hard work. I know that others, including Freddie and Deano have also been working hard behind the scenes.............but Wendi has not been privy to any of this. Wendi, being the kind, generous, patient, understanding, tolerant, sweet gentle person that she is has borne all of this very patiently..........whilst privately she has been desperate for news. However, all along she has hoped that we would either hear before London or else at the gig that she was at on the 26th. Wendi isn't able to attend as many concerts as some of us are fortunate enough to be able to...again, something that she doesn't complain about but is always amazingly encouraging and happy for everyone who is able to go. She is a MASIVE asset to this fan club. She is here as often as she can be and is welcoming, generous and kind to everyone.

I personally feel that it is only fair that Wendi should be included in any announcements and treated with the respect that she fully deserves.

If my post upsets anyone, well then, i didn't mean to offend but I think it is very sad indeed that something that was concieved essentially by Wendi has, ultimately ended up upsetting her.

Ok, I suppose I had best answer this....

The discussions we are having are not directly related to Wendi's project.

In fact, contact had been started well before Wendi first started the petition, but one of the areas we are covering should coincide with what Wendi and the majority of MFC'ers wanted.

So I guess what I am saying is that Wendi has been awesome, and I am sure that her petition has certainly made a difference, BUT she should not take it personal, as:

    a) it won't have any effect on the up'coming gigs

    b) it is not directly related to Wendi's project

    I hope this makes sense/helps.

  3. We are behind on the updates due to the talks with Mika's management, but everyone who donated will get one on the next block of updates.

We will try and make sure that any secret gigs etc have preference to donators as well (but not exclusively to them)

  4. To answer some of your points:

    1) DON'T look for a job online, look to create your own online business.

    2) Don't buy products in advance, you can use affiliate marketing to sell other people's products, and you can get a % of each sale. For example, you could sell Mika CD's, and get 10% of each sale... if you have a site that can sell 30 per day, then you will make money. A basic example, but you get the picture...

    3) You can create your own INFO products... this sounds weird, but I know someone who makes over $100 million from this. People need information, it doesn't have to be ground breaking, simply create a 15 page report on a subject of your choice, convert it into PDF format, and you have an ebook. Sell it for $19.99, sell 10 per day and you will be making $200 PER DAY, 7 days per week = $6,000 per month.

The best part of all... ebooks cost zero to make, zero to ship, thus, the profit is 100%

    4) How much does it cost to setup? Nothing, well... $7 for a domain name, then, install a free wordpress blog on the site, and use the blog to promote stuff.

How do you get loads of people to visit your site?

That is the million dollar question, I don't have the time to go into this right now, but I hope the above answers some of your questions.

  5. I have always thought about a job online but I could never find any clear information about it :blush-anim-cl:

There is a LOT of nonsense on the Internet about working online, trust me, I have seen it all.

It can be done, there are no get rich quick options, but with hard work it can be very rewarding.

  6. I would love that, but I would have to be interested - not selling anything.

I am also not a great risk taker, but I guess that working online you could start off small and see how it goes without risking your full time job.

Good points. You don't need to sell anything, in fact, that is one of the cool things about working online, you can sell other people's stuff, and get a %.

That means that you don't have to pay anything, you don't have to stock the products, you don't have to ship them, and you don't have to deal with complaints.

  7. Has anyone here ever had a job working online?

My second question, has anyone here ever considered the possibility of making a living from the Internet?

I was speaking to an MFC member the other day, and I was explaining that I can work anywhere in the world (as long as their is wireless internet), and I work from my home currently, so never have to travel to work etc, it is a pretty amazing career option, and there are thousands of jobs you can do on the net...

Maybe one day I will teach people how to make crazy amount of cash from the Internet. :thumb_yello:

PM me if you are genuinly interested, I am always keen to dicuss anything Internet related.

  8. *****OFFICIAL STATEMENT*****

    Hi guys.

I have been speaking to Jerry and the team at Mika's management, and the rumors are TRUE.

MFC should soon be the official fan site for Mika :punk:

However, there are a few things to sort out first, and hopefully myself and Jerry will have them completed within the next two weeks.

Until then, stay tuned, and I will post any updated info. It will be a big step for MFC, and the benefits for you all should be amazing.

    Dean & the admin team.
