I've been up about an hour now. Brewing coffee, boiling water for tea, and baking muffins for my decadent sleeping guests.

 

Having a little in our belly will help keep us warmer. It's literally FREEZING weather (zero celsius) outside. And we're right beside the lake which makes it even a little more colder.

back from the taping! A huge thanks to the Ticketfairy, Deb and Guylaine who happened to be online at the right time!

Can't say much... They made us sing confidentility forms valid until sunday 10 pm.

We entered the studio after the first 2 interviews (the Montreal hockey team owner and a writer from Montreal). They made us spit in pairs to make us fit in the crowd.

Mika came 5th. He stayed for the 6th interviews (Yan Martel writer of Life of Pi). He was fricking handsome as usual. Quite tired tho. Nothing really new in the interview exept bits about the new gigs. Yasmine was backstage. I think he noticed us and he definitely recognized Véro (sunshine931).

He left before the end of the show so we didn't met him but we managed to cheer for him and that was why we wanted so much to be in the crowd.

Yeah, I wouldn't call GMA a good show.

 

I think Ellen could be really good and since Letterman is embroiled in a big controversy at the moment that could mean some exposure as well.

 

I think the best thing that could ever happen to him as far as exposure in the US goes is to get on American Idol. He really should have done Canadian Idol when he had the chance too. It was a lame production but 1 million people watched it and they are exactly his target audience - pop music lovers. And because he was supposed to mentor they would have shown him working with the contestants and people would have really gotten a sense of his personality and talent moreso than you'd ever get with one performance on a late-night talk show.

Maybe a good interview with George Stroumboulopoulos while he's in TO? I like him

Okay Suzy I had a look around there and for Rogers cable in Toronto it's channel 12 CBLFT. It starts at 8 pm. What kind of show is this that goes on for 2 hours?

 

Think I'm going to have to skip this since I don't have a TV and I need to be at a gig in the morning.

I think you can watch it on demand on the website after it's presented on tv. It's like a round table where the invitees stay after their interview and discuss with one and other. Sometimes it gets really good depending who's there.
