I think it's JUST FINE. I mean , according to the preliminary pics I was ready to see smth big and a bit confusing, but it appeared to be so sweet and down to earth. I mean it's like a real life and at the same time smth completely demented and surreal. I LIKE IT SO MUCH:punk:

I think the Secret Society page is not updated any more and for MMMM, well that is Mika's private myspace, so there's little chance to get added (I didn't try and I won't, for you know, it's his privatesphere and I guess if he added everybody there, he'd obviously lose track.... )

If Mika was coming over to your place for supper, what would you cook for him? What special touches would you add? If you live with parents/roomates, let's assume they're gone for the weekend.

 

Methinks I'd make a chicken dish, since he referenced buying chicken in that one interview. Maybe with an apricot glaze, brown rice, and this badass chickpea/bell pepper/sweet potato curry I create. For dessert, chocolate mousse with rasberry coulis. I wonder if he drinks wine...? A nice glass of Riesling, candles on the table. I'm not sure about music...some classical piano, maybe? *swoons*

I am so excited to travel to London in July---it will be when Mika's concert is at Somerset--but my boss approved the trip this week and tix were already sold out.

 

I will be taking a course at the Homeopathic Hospital (I think it is in the Bloomsbury district) for two weeks. I have never been to London and am so excited. I want to see the Tower of London definitely, but what else do you suggest?

 

I am not sure what my hours at the hospital will be---considering here in Philly I work 12-14 hour days----but I hope my weekends will be free.

Hi, I'm not a Londoner, but I have some suggestions. Go to the London Zoo for in this case you can be completely sure to step on the same ground that Mika stepped, ha-ha. Then go to Dungeon - it's on Tooley street - VERY funny place, with vampires, fluorescent sceletons boats and lots of funny stuff. And if you like art definitely go to Tate modern - its really cool:biggrin2:

I did NOT spend 2 hours the other day trying to figure out how to get the

blasted Koko promo video on my myspace page.

I have NOT downloaded the forbidden Mika demos and transcribed all the lyrics, and committed them all to memory.

I also have NOT burned the forbidden Mika demos to a CD so I can listen to them in my car.

I have NOT downloaded the bootleg Berlin concert and burned it to a CD.

I have NOT ordered a Mika Fan Club t-shirt and buttons.

I do NOT have a countdown clock on my myspace page that I check every few minutes to see how much longer I have to wait until the Mika concert in DC. (20 days 14 hours 45 minutes 58 seconds... 57... 56... 55...)

And I most definitely have NOT spent hours looking on ebay trying to find the perfect outfit to wear to the Mika concert.

I suppose I am a relatively new Mika fan compared to most of you on here, I have been into his music since the release of Grace Kelly, one of the finest pop songs of the year!

 

I browse the forum often and though that I would plunge into the wonderful, wacky world of Mika by registering today.

 

I went to the Birmingham gig on Thirsday and have to say that it was the most enjoyable and fun gig that I have ever been too

 

I really love the way the forum is set out and there is so much stuff on here, it is great

It is great to finally be around my own people, I have a sneaky feeling that others think I am a little CrAzY or obsessed. Oh well what you gonna do???

 

Anyhow, I have been living in Canada for 9 years but I was born and raised in beautiful South Africa. I have two young children.

 

The Mika story (drum roll please)!! Mika was the name I was going to call my son, so when the name Mika was mentioned on TV I was curious to know more about this mystery character. Anyway it only took a few minutes of web surfing to be sucked into the magical musical vortex of MIKA!
