  1. MIKA's HUGE in Europe and Asia and practically the rest of the world except the US, which is pretty dumb but whenever I see the billboard top songs for the US, I kind of understand why. Because like, 90% of the hit songs are hip hop/rap/rb songs that sing about sex and drugs while pop songs only dominate like 10% which is dumb.

I hope MIKA will make it one day! I really want to drive and listen to him at the same time and not some beyonce/ justin timberlake overplayed songs.

  3. With two worldwide hit singles "Grace Kelly" and "Relax, Take it Easy", "Life in Cartoon Motion" moved a few spots up from number 11 to number 8, selling 119,000 copies! Total sales are now at 2,662,450. And another 337,550 copies till 3 million! Congratulations, MIKA!

And now for the singles, "Relax" is still doing great around the world at number 15 and "Grace Kelly" at number 18. "Relax" should be able to make it to the top 10 next week because I heard that it is peaking all over Europe.

  4. LiCM sold 111,000 copies at #11, selling more than Amy, nelly, michael, maroon5 etc! So the sales of the album should be at 2.5 or 2.6. I'm not sure but it's so close to 3 million copies! Maybe a couple of weeks and it'll reach 3 million.

Anyway now, for the singles. "Relax" has went up a few spots to #14, one spot higher than "Grace Kelly" at #15. And BIG GIRL just might be able to make it to the ranking next week or the week after. I wonder why is 'Relax" peaking right now since the single's been released for so long. Does anyone know of the reason?

    Grats, MIKA!

  6. http://www.mediatraffic.de/albums.htm

MIKA is at #14 with sales of 108,000 copies. It has the largest sales increase this week.

Its total sales worldwide should be at 2.3, right? He should be hitting 3 million in approximately 8-9 weeks. And if BIG GIRL does very well, it could be sooner.

    Congrats to MIKA!

It's also interesting to note that the GRACE KELLY video on youtube is reaching 12 million viewers!

  7. I don't think this is a good idea. If you want to help promote MIKA or introduce his music to your friends, then tell them about MIKA and suggest them to buy the album. Or you can buy a few copies of the album and give it to them as gifts!

I did that and I have more friends who have caught the MIKA fever already. :bleh:
