  3. Hello everyone, on another thread somehow the subject of theater came up and a bunch of MFCers seemed interested, so I figured I should create a group for us

    WELCOME THEATER LOVERS!

Well, I've been involved with theater since I was a kid (although I took a break through middle school). I'm currently a Musical Theater major and Broadway is my goal! haha, It's such a hard career, but it's the only thing I can see myself doing and being happy, so I figured I gotta give it a try!

Ok, come in, introduce yourself, share your experiences in the theater (both as an audience member or a performer), list your favorite plays/musicals, tell us what you've seen, recommend new ones...etc...I'm So Excited!!! lol...:mf_lustslow:

SHALL WE CREATE A LIST OF "Theater Lovers" ?

    Edit

WHO WANTS TO BE A THEATER LOVER?

Let me know and you shall!

  4. I can safely say that MIKA is not the one sitting at home calling places to schedule his concerts, and if concerts are canceled is because he had a reason to do so, it might not be a good one, but he still has reasons! People have been upset because he canceled concerts overseas and performed a free gig in NYC yesterday, but I feel like perhaps his management felt it was best to promote MIKA in the USA (where he never is btw) and later re-schedule the gigs in Europe!

Anyway, I think the idea is great, and although I am fortunate and don't have reasons to complain, I think you guys should make your voices heard!

  5. Mika was scheduled to perform at the American television show Good Morning America. For their summer series, they host free outdoor concerts at Bryant Park in New York City, where artists usually perform 2-3 songs, and tons of fans come out to enjoy the free concert. Because of the terrible rain that hit NYC this morning, the concert was moved indoors. In the studio where he performed there was not nearly enough room to fit all the fans, and to make it up for us, Mika performed a free show this afternoon!

I'm creating this threat so you can all see how much Mika cares for his fans. Not all the fans got to go in the studio, but they all got to see him through the studio's glass windows, and even hear his performance. He had no obligation to throw a free concert for everyone, and besides, if the concert had taken place like it was originally planned, he would have performed 3 songs, and at the free gig, he perfomed 8. It was very VERY nice of him to do that for his fans, and I will never forget how much he acctually cared that everyone who woke up as early as 2 am to get to Bryant Park, got to see him perform today!

    THANK YOU MIKA!

  6. God report on the secreat gig...

Here is some of what I experienced!

IT WAS AMAZING..i was right up front, there was nothing between the crowd and the stage. He came out with his guitarrist and his base player (the drummer wasn't there cos it was all acustic). It rained the whole day, so to be funny they all came out with umbrellas haha, it was cute.

I don't remember the exact order of the songs, except for the first and last one, but here is what he performed:

    Grace Kelly

    My Interpretation

    Everybody is TAlking

    Stuck In The Middle

    Holly Johnny

    Billy Brown

    Century Man

    Love Today

Before he left the stage he went touching everybody's hamds, and he actually shook my hand!!! It was so cool, lol!

There were many funny moments, and it was awesome how there was no set list and they just did what they felt like doing!!!

The concert was tapped by them, so I wonder if it will ever be released anywhere! Id love that, it would be awesome!

I was just shocked with how much he cared for his fans today! Throwing a last minute gig was amazing! He performed 8 songs, when all he would've performed at GMA was 3. He has no obligation to do anything, it wasn't his fault it rained! ...So thank you Mika for caring for your fans! You Go Boy! I Love You!

  7. OMG!

If Mika took a Britney' date=' I would die!!

--So he should send it to me :bleh:[/quote']

i love you for mentioning Britney! ahah

If Mika had six fingers he could play more notes at once!

  8. I want to live in Mikaville because I feel like I can bring lots of fun to this town...

If I may, I would like to have my house placed on Relax Drive which is stuck in the middle of the town! hahaha...it a chill place to live! :roftl:
