    oh and I listed the movies I've seen Bale in, and I totally forgot about The Prestige! I saw that on the plane to New York :biggrin2:

    it's one of my fav movies :3

    and Bale sure is great in it.. he managed to both be this little sexually frustrated teenager, and then be all grown up and serious..

    well, Arthur has tried to forget the life he led in the 70's, and he has pretty much managed to put it behind him, until he has to write that article, then everything comes back to him..

    absolutely. but it can be a bit confusing since they jump back and forth in time.

     

    the main story is that a journalist (Bale) in the 80's is supposed to write an article about Brian Slade (Rhys Meyers) who fakes his own murder 10 years earlier. What they don't know is that the journalist, Arthur, used to be a big fan. The story is made up by Arthur's memories from the 70's, and the stories from the people he interview (Brian's ex manager, his ex wife).
