IT WAS F***ING AMAZING!!!!

 

Arrgghhh, I can't even begin to describe how good it was. Loads of interaction with Owen, Mika's roadie. He's a fun dude.

 

Mika recorded BIOTG, Pick Up Off The Floor and Rain. He done BIOTG and Rain live as well, but different performances. Like, he done all three songs and then he went live and re-done two.

 

Interaction with Mika as well! After he recorded Rain he saw us doing our dance and he was like "What WAS that?!" :ro ftl: And started imitating it lol.

I also managed to tell him that my mum loves "I See You" and that it's her favourite song. He held my hand :w ub2::wu b2: They're very soft lol Then Babs chirped in and was like "I'm her mother." Mika looked at her like and said "Really?!" and Babs said "No" xDD

Very funny!

 

I think that was the second time he came over to us though. He came to us once before but since I never really said anything (not that I can recall anyway ) there's not really much to tell....because I can't remember what happened. xD

 

Absolutely can't wait for Friday!

And can I just say how amazing our view was? Before we got in the studio someone over the speakers said "I hear we have some Mika Fans?" and we all went "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!" :ro ftl: Oh God it was so embarrassing lol, but they put us first in line! And they were like "everyone behind the Mika fans" haha!!!! So we had an AMAZING view.

 

Martin interacted with us during the live BIOTG by clapping in our direction, and Mika was clapping to us too, to tell us to keep going.

 

They re-done SO many Shakira songs >_<

We completely rocked out to Hips Don't Lie though LOL.

During the recording, when Mika was by the piano he kept looking at us and smiling

 

sorry my memory is all jumbled up I keep remembering odd bits.

 

We met him outside as well and confirmed that the next single is RAIN. He is releasing BIOTG as well but in different countries or something, I think he's releasing them at the same time. He was all like "wait till you see the video!" and we were like "Ooooohh!!" and he said "I'm wearing clothes!"

 

We thanked him for doing Pick Up Off The Floor as well because it was BEAUTIFUL.

 

If anyone wants to add to this they're more than welcome lol, my brain is frazzled from amazingnessnessness.

Hola, Lau! Sí, me da bronca eso,la percepción o los prejuicios que se tienen al pedo. Aunque te digo que Mika y su equipo bien deberían saber que acá puede venir tranquilo, porque estamos todos comprando como boludos y pagando más cuando pedimos cosas de afuera, eso lo tienen bien anotado. Me parece una falta de respeto más que nada por prometer cosas que dps no ven la luz. Eso que dijo amo de "top of the list" es verdad. Si no, que no las diga y listo, por lo menos eso y que no te ilusione para nada. Tendrían que saber que acá hay fans que son tan fans como los del "mundo" que ellos conocen.

para mi el "mundo" de ellos es Europa y EE.UU

Y estoy segura que saben que acá sus cosas se venden, porque no somos sólo nosotras, sinó que hay mucha gente que le compra los Cd's, los DVD's, etc. Y que también le comprarían la entrada... seguramente eso es lo que no tienen en cuenta. Jajjaa, con respecto a lo que dice Lau, ayer empecé a escribir un post a partir de uno que hizo una chica, especulando fechas de conciertos y dijo algo como "febrero en UK, marzo-abril y mayo en los demás países de Europa, después no sé qué (Estados Unidos, o Asia...) y después RESTO DEL MUNDO". Y bueno... preferí borrar lo que habría escrito y no hacerlo porque me iban a tomar por loca y a lo mejor esta chica se lo tomaba a mal. Pero lo que quería decir era que eso de "resto del mundo" nos deja en un lugar de prioridad insignificante y que seguramente el Mika team piensa tbn que existen Europa, Estados Unidos, Asia y dps RESTO DEL MUNDO, lo que me parece muy molesto por no decir algo más fuerte. También en el sentido de que los discos y DVD sí que llegan, las cosas importadas sí que las traen, y nosotros los compramos, pagamos y podemos comprar entradas a recitales, no somos indios. Y lo peor de todo es que no te entienden porque, claro, allá vas caminando por el centro y capaz que te cruzás a Mika que te invita a tomar algo, o sea... no se dan cuenta lo que no es vivir así. Pero bueno, lamentablemente nos tocó esto.

aca hay fans que estamos dispuestas a pagar por una entrada, por cds, dvds.. y aca ni se asoma... minimo tendria que hacer Brasil, Argentina, Mexico, Venenzuela... esos son paises que son practicamente obligatorios en cualquier tour sudamericano... siempre "rest of the world" anda a la *********

los de alla no entienden lo que es esperar y esperar... como mucho cuanto esperan para que vuelva un artista? 6 meses??? y es mucho creo..

Yo esperando mi puta edición importada deluxe de TBWKTM, aunque no me hace ninguna gracia porque todavía estoy re caliente con Mika, y no, no en el mismo sentido de siempre. Estoy súper decepcionada por las fechas que confirmó. Y miren que desde el viernes me dura, eh????

 

Así que es feo el borde de la portada del nacional??? Bueeeno, igual es un poquito nada más, no creo que baste eso para arruinarle el arte! Lau, si alguien te pasó fotos estaría bueno que las publicaras en el Facebook de la Logia así las vemos todos.

 

Ni bien tenga el importado yo le hago unas fotitos y las publico.

It's not about being fair or whatever or which fans he loves the most, it's about business.

How much money will be made.

Europe is a big market for Mika. So is the US. It might not look like it is, but it is.

I don't know how well he would sell in these places he hasn't yet been to.

No doubt fans in those countries will say he will sell out the venues.

He may well do. You will just have to wait and see. He can't be everywhere and he's going to go to the places where he has an established market.

we know.. it`s better doing tours in Europe and the US than South America or Asia..

but i imagine this would happen... after the new album released he wouldn`t come inmediately to this region... august 2010 perhaps..

but i think that Mika and his team should consider doing a mini tour in SA and asia... lots of artists did that... play in some countries one gig and that`s it... but he won`t do it
