    Wow wow wow!!!! I am still on cloud nine. :wub2:

     

    I'm not much of a talker, but this concert, as some other MFC fans might have noticed...left me speechless.

     

    I am honestly so overwhelmed by how great it was that it's difficult to put it into words. It was absolutely beautiful and flawless! Every song better than the last one. Mika's voice so beautifully brought to light with the whole orchestra. It really is an amazing experience to be in the room and listen to all these beautiful instruments so wonderfully played. I feel so extremely lucky to have been there!

     

    Even though it's the Symphonic Orchestra, you can tell that the audience was so into the music that it was difficult to avoid clapping to the rhythm for some songs. We got scolded by the orchestra director three times!:aah: Mika fans can't help themselves. :teehee: There was standing ovation, after standing ovation and never ending clapping at the end. We didn't want it to end, it felt so short.

     

    I don't know what else to say, anything I think of falls short of how I felt. The songs are still playing though my head and I haven't fully processed it all...

     

    I was really late for the MFC get together, but it was still so nice to see so many wonderful Mika fans together, excited about this event and ooooooh that cake! I wish I could have talked to everyone before and after the show. I hope those who are going tonight have an even more wonderful time. Enjoy!!!

     

    Thank you, thank you, thank you so so much guylainem123 and MFC for thinking of me so that I could assist this wonderful concert! I am so thankful and happy I got to experience it! :wub2: It really is such an amazing thing I didn't think would happen for me.

    Hey ALL!!!

     

    Have a fabulous time!! This gig is going to be awesome and supper before hand is going to be so much fun!!

     

    I wish I could be there but once again, the timing (and money) of Mika's gigs hardly work for me :wink2: (kjkalfjoeiajkSCHOOLal;kfjoe;iajef;kea)

     

    Anyway...I can't wait for all the gig reports and pics and vids!!! Miss you all and hope I can be there next time!! :group_hug:

     

    AAAAAAAH BECKY! I so wish you were here!

    But there will always be more concerts to look forward to!

    i'm sure it's ok to add your name, i'll put you on the list and make sure that our final count includes you. we are meeting at St-Hubert at 17h30 how many are you? just 1?

     

    the show is Sunday night at 20h00 on Radio Canada

     

    if you look in the gig/report/performance thread, there is a short clip of it & i translated it for all to understand :wink2:

    :naughty: Yesterday I realized I didn't actually get Radio Canada so i had to extend my antenna with a random cable I found so that it reaches the window and I get a better signal...hahahah all this for a Mika interview!

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT good seat!!! We're planning on having dinner before the gig, come with us!!!

     

     

    there has been talk of all of us going out to supper at St-Hubert restaurant (chicken), which is across the street from the venue. i wonder if we should get a serious list going, so that we could perhaps make a reservation just to make sure we call all sit together. soooooo, here goes

    I've had so much school work! I haven't even be able to worry about the excitement for this concert! BUT BELIEVE ME I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT! Ha ha, at least with all this work, days will go by faster... Sooooo close.

     

    What time is tout le monde en parle? i need to watch this show, even with y fuzzy antenna signal :aah:

    BLAAAAAH! I have been away from my computer for soooo long! I have no internet at home! But I am so looking forward to this concert and seeing you/meeting you all! :D

     

    I saw the e-mail with my seat info and I could not be happier!!!!! AA12! This makes up for the fact that it will be my only Mika gig this tour! :roftl: No joke, I am literally rolling on the floor laughing with joy in the middle of the university lobby. hahahaha.

     

    I'll keep checking this thread when ever I can, because I would LOVE LOVE to meet you before the concert!

     

    ooooh boy, with new album and concert, I feel the Mika fever invading me again! woooooh!:mf_lustslow:

    Hello Canadian Thread.

     

    It's been a while but I've been busy.

     

    I found this funny video about the garbage strike in Toronto and had to share! :roftl: I hope you enjoy it.

     

     

    Haha in other Canadian news, yesterday I went to Tim Hortons while very tired and asked for a medium Smoked Cap. :blink: That's the look the cashier gave me and then I realized what I had said...I meant a medium Iced Cap. :naughty:

    It's great to see that everyone had a great time and that the show was nothing short of amazing, as usual!

     

    I was thinking about all the MFCers yesterday and following the news on twitter.

     

    I thought the Ice Cream Truck was really an amazing gesture. It shows how much he cares about his fans!

     

    DARN! I wish I had been there too! But work...

     

    NEXT TIME I will be there, provided school and works allow me.

    I can't wait for the dvd :punk: We have to watch it all together again this time!

     

    As for Jean Coutu, I've also heard Billy Brown there :thumb_yello: It's their own radio station that plays in all Jean Coutu. I guess someone is a Mika fan over there :wink2:

     

    Yes!!! We totally have to! That would be awesome! Although, there's still no listing of the new DVD on amazon.com or amazon.ca. I'm sure it will come soon though.

    Come on Canadian Thread Wake up!

    It seems we will soon have a DVD to make the wait for a new North American tour much more bearable! :naughty:

     

    I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Stuck in the Middle this afternoon in Jena Coutu ( a Pharmacy) :punk: I don't know if it was a radio station though, or maybe it's the pharmacy's own radio?

     

    Anyways it was cool!

    What does your new hair look like?:bleh:

     

    :roftl: I don't know how to explain it! Hahaha I basically have the same haircut I always have but shorter.

     

    It's about shoulder lengh with layers and side bangs. It was just about time for a haircut! It was long and it just took to much time to dry it in the morning.
