    :teehee: so, hugh and I are back from San Diego.... where we had a wonderful time!!! i think it is probably time to send mr. hugo off to his next destination. as much as i would love to keep him... he does have planes to catch and plans to keep.... lucky lil hippo. SO, is he going to japan next? did i miss the the game plan or something. is there anyone there to tell me his next destination???

     

    he is a very lovable and fun hippo :wub2: and i will miss him much. i am here for this week, and out of town again next week... so i will do my best to stay on the timeline....

     

    hope you are all fine and will talk to you soon!!!

    I was about to suggest that :naughty:

     

    Argh, what a **** - the dates arent on MS anymore. So we need to count YT, FB, setlist.fm and others. And I so don't have time and I'm so ****ing up for it :woot_jump:.

    Yes, let's do that and count all dates from the Konk-tour including festival performances and special headline shows :woot_jump!

    THE KOOKS SUMMER ROUND UP: SECRET SETAT BESTIVAL...

     

    In April, 5 days before the event was due to takeplace, The Kooks announced details of an intimate gig at Zanzibar in Liverpool via THEKOOKS.com, kicking off a 6 month stint of live dates throughout Europe and South America...

     

    Over 30 shows, 14 countries, one terrifying plane ride, numerous guitar strings and several hundred thousands of amazing Kooks fans later, the band landed back in the UK last weekend. But still not quite ready for home...

     

    A set at Bestival billed as ?Luke Pritchard' turned into a ?3/4 of The Kooks' set when Hugh and Paul decided to join him on the Band Stand at the last minute. And word spread pretty quick, with the surrounding area filling up with people as rumour worked it's way through the crowds (photos to theleft.)

     

    It's been an incredible Summer, with highlights including shows in Argentina, Chile and Brazil where the band received an overwhelming welcome. Ibiza Rocks, where they played in the centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in the sweltering heat. Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park, London where The Kooks supported The Killers and played a secret show for backstage guests. The amazing landscapes of the Eden Project, the best backdrop to a show ever. Not to mention taking part in Africa Express in the heart of Paris. The band also used the shows to road test a couple of newbies -?Princess Of My Mind' and ?Rainbow,' giving you a taster of what's to come.

    NEXT FOR THE KOOKS

     

    As for the here and now, we are pleased to inform you that the band are currently situated in the rehearsal studio with sights firmly set on completing The Kooks 3rd album and recording due to begin soon.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mr. HHH arrived just in time for a fun trip!! He arrived on Saturday.... and then on Sunday we had to leave for San Diego! Since he is such a traveler already.... he didn't seem to mind. We flew first class (free upgrade) together and had a wonderful day here. Now we are resting in our hotel and dreaming about a nice cup of tea.

     

    I have a full week of conferences and meetings... but I think Hugh will have a good time also. He will meet lots of fun people and hopefully take some good photos to share.

     

    Fantastic!!!!

    I looooooove the bus song :fangurl:. Haha, I remember I heard of it the first time when Paul said (in that Wombat-interview) that the Bus Song was a REALLY old Kooks-song. :cheerful_h4h:
