I'm just so confused with the "father and mother" line. I hear "Holy father and the Mother," but that's just me. Mika's pointing and looking up to the Heavens, like robertina said, gives that part away a bit.

I don't think its "sleeping on the road", I think its "living on the road"....I'm pretty sure it is, but hell, I didn't write the song.
Also, after the "now he cries/tries (whatever), everyday" part, I can clearly hear him say "_____________father and a mother...."
What do you guys think?
I think sometimes it's 'sitting on the road', sometimes 'sleeping' and sometimes 'living'.

That's really strange. I had a dream just like that about a month ago.
I can't remember much, just that Mika had died, I think he drowned, and it was on all the news. In the dream I was running around hysterically screaming that he couldn't really be dead and if he was I would kill myself. And random people would just be chatting to me in the street and then they would say, 'Did you know that guy who sung Grace Kelly, Mika, died the other day?' or something like that and I would just run off and start crying.
At the time I was really, really worried.
I didn't tell anyone though ... they would have just found it wierd or maybe even funny.

I really like Erase, I put it on my daughter MP3-player and listen to it quite often.
I love Erase too, it's brilliant, but it is quite similar to what someone like Robbie Williams might do - and I assume that goes against Mika's image?

Hey everyone!
I don't have time to look right now so could anyone find me some photos of the whole band together/all of them seperately, including Saranayde, Lorna, Ophelia (Big Girl), and obviously Mika, Martin, Cherisse, Luke and Mikey.
You see my little sister is probably Mika's biggest under-5 fan and she would love to have photos of the band so she can learn to identify them. Right now she is dancing around singing Love Today! It's sooo cute!
And Mads says, 'Hello, I am Maddie, my favourite song is Happy Ending Stuck In The Middle Love Today and Relax Take It Easy and Grace Kelly and Lollipop!' (So not many, then?)

What do we think about co-writers? Do we have any hints or guesses as to whether Mika will write more of the next CD himself, collaborate more, or have a similar balance to LICM?
I expect he will continue to collaborate with Jodi Marr, I hope so at least! I love her because she co-wrote/had the idea for My Interpretation (the best LiCM song as far as I'm concerned.).

oh come on, i can't believe he never got laid. even really ugly dumb people manage to have sex before their 24th, so mika certainly would be able to find a volunteer, no matter what gender he prefers

She's used to it! We have, shall we say, an honest relationship!
Anyway, we have now decided Sar and her boyfriend get to go out on her birthday - while I stay at home with the kids and watch Mika - then me and Sar will go out some other time! Lol! So it works for everyone.

Deffo. EP in January, with new single - I'm hoping for Holy Johnny - and then full album in April. But yeah, it is too long to have to wait. Come on Mika, prove me wrong
.Personally I don't think he should release HJ as a single. It's a good song, but really it isn't strong enough to market a new album in the way that say, Grace Kelly was. HMDYLM would be a better choice in my opinion, although actually I think it will be something different entirely, something strong and iconic that will make people think, 'WOW'. Which for some reason I just don't think HJ would do.
I'd really excited about the EP in January though! You know, I'm starting to worry - my life runs completely on Mika-time! My mum said to me today, 'Callie, have you remembered what important's happening in November?'
So I said, 'Oh, yeah, the Mika DVD comes out. Ands he's performing at the Music Awards.'
She was like, 'No, I meant my birthday ... I can see you've put loads of effort into preparing for it.'
And then I started talking about the Music Awards, and Sar (my mum) said, 'Isn't that on my birthday?'
I told her, 'Yep, you're going to have to cancel whatever you're doing so I can watch Mika.'
Sar: 'But I'm you're mother! Surely I'm more important that Mika?!'
Me: '... nope!'
