At November 12th, your test will be about which subject?

No, no. I'm currently at 12th grade, and I've left one year until university. Anyway, I've to study really hard to enter in a proper university, one I'd like to be.

    See you soon. :huglove:

  5. Sorry for the late answer. :teehee:

Cool! Should I wonder that asian people, might, love Portugal, or at least Europe? That is so good, I feel kind of happy for share stuff with you.

I don't know what did you refer. I'm a little confused. If 'Casa' is edible, I don't know. Only if you were refering to the store, which can be named also as: Antiga Casa de Pastéis de Nata, and 'pastéis de nata', the edible stuff, aww...It's simply delicious!! Did your book have pics illustrating that? :)

Rua Augusta is one of the most noisy and crowded, well, depends at which hour are you walking by. hehe

I went to Feira da Ladra some years ago, but I remember how cheap are the stuff you can find. Chiado...Did the book mention 'Brasileira' coffee shop or 'Benard'? In front of 'Brasileira' there is a kind of statue, made of iron, I guess, from Fernando Pessoa, a portuguese writer, sitting on a chair, surrounded by tourists, taking photos near him.

    continues...

  6. Yes, Korean who travel Portugal wrote that book.

It was divided each area. Sure, Lisbon and one of i intrested in Tomar.

I read there is town sellected unesco. I hope to see the spot remained Knights of the Temple. hh well! In Lisbon, i have some attracted. Have you been eaten 'Casa' ? Store name is 'Pasteis de Belem', writer itroduced there. hh I want to eat it so much!:teehee:.

and others-Hope to walk on Rua Augusta, to go Feir da Ladre, Chiado...

    well, now im in busy days but, believe to come days when i travel there. If i'll go there, entirely ask you for guide~:roftl::roftl: Absolutely me too^^ so anyway, now.......i must study hard. for SAT right now and more linguistic ability.. // well my test is 12,Nov. this year.     Please understand me ! &^^;

Lately, i choose one book named 'The night of Lisbon is more beautiful than your noon. '

, its a travel piece, so it makes me reminding you.

I'm reading now a page about Portu - anyway i can be relax just by reading.

Although i see there only through book informations and photos, the day i stay there will come, i believe. hh so i think for some times, i can't do computer often.

but i'll try it at most. i should go for studying, Give me a power for me!

    and For MiKA ★

    take care>

  9. Hi Hyerie!!! How are you? ^^

You're welcome. It is a pleasure.

I'm glad you found photos. :D

I guess I've to read that book. ^^ What a coincidence, isn't it?

About Augusta...It's in someway romantic, however, in my opinion, that looses a bit, 'cause there are some many tourists that you forget how romantic it is. But my opinion is subjective. Although...I absolutely agree that there loads and beautiful art works. :biggrin2: That's a fact. hehe

I tried to search 'Arirang' in Youtube to hear some music..but I couldn't. :S

I really want to know Asia... Just reading what you said...god! "bamboo, Ceramic, sandbar, tradition house town, flower and green tea, etc." :wub2:

yes...an European acoustic tour that I can't go. He doesn't come to Portugal. :(

As you must know...Mika is travelling all over Europe...Oslo, Berlin, Brussels,...

I think he must go to Korea...if he promised I guess he should meet.

Unfortunately...I hadn't meet Mika, and that have a funny and embarasing story. However...I make myself happy for having seen him in Lisbon.

    Have a great weekend.

    :huglove: Inês

  10. Hi Ines :roftl:

I'm too late sorry -well I maybe write this only in weekend. please understand~

and wow thank you to introduce about Lisbon

I especially hope to see there Christmas tree ! (I found tha photo of Porto!)

well, yesterday I bought a book "The deep story of city that the time's staying.(←translated just my own heh)" by a famous Korean scholar , and then I read today.

Its topic was 'History of City', have lots photo, and easy to read.

um what I want to say this, delightly first City editing in this book was Lisbon hh.

so exactly I got a knowledge about Load of Augusta in Lisbon.

He said there are beautiful load had full of art and romantic ~. Is there? I hope to walk there^^

and you said too, I read about there folk song 'Fadu'. Our traditional music is 'Arirang', Its very Korean unique style. Well in Korea, Nature place are a lot here, especially these days in may have lots of Festival each town. Famous cities where about bamboo, Ceramic, sandbar, tradition house town, flower and green tea etc.. Anyway the number of beautiful places are many.~ really I should study more hard hh

    xoxo -hyell

  11. Hello Hyerie! How did your midterm exam go? ^^

Thanks for explained me a bit of Korea's History. It always fascinated me, but I never researched or learnt some stuff as you told me. :):)

I went to Wikipedia and I must say I felt excited and I really want to visit your country.

Travel Channel is indispensable for who dreams to visit all of the world. It is a easy way to travel without get out of the sofa. :naughty:

I want badly to get to know more of Asia and Middle East. So many cultures, lifestyles, cities, food...all. *-* I can stop thinking of that. hehe

About Lisbon....I think it is the city with more population. Lisbon is known as the seven haills city. In the horizon you see Tejo river (or Tagus river, in English). It's full of little churches (everyway you pass, you'll find it one.) and the streets seems like labirints. Chiado or Baixa (Downtown) is a commercial zone, where many tourist walk, and you can listen Fado (tradicional music type) in some streets.

There are 5 theatres available for you, which one particularity beautiful. (S.Carlos Theatre is the oldest, and it was The Real Theatre.)

The bigger Christmas tree in Europe is built every year in Lisbon (or Porto), and I've to say that last year's tree was fantastic. (Fireworks included.)

Sé de Lisboa (it is a cathedral) is so simple and at the same way very beautiful. When the sun insides over the vitrals you get so many colours...purple, blue, yellow, red...fantastic. And the acoustic...powerful...if you ever have the opportunity to visit Sé, you must see a Organ concert in it. I don't know if you like, but I think it is a show that we can't miss.

Try to find : Belem Tower (Torre de Belém, in portuguese), Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Mosteiro (monestary, I think it is written like that ;P) dos Jerónimos. Those spots are monuments in Lisbon. In Sintra, try to find Monserrate (My favourite palace), Moors Castle, Pena Palace. I think you're going to like.

    Have a great week.

    xxx

  12. Hello Ines, I have a midterm exam in school today so tired~.T.T

Daegu Metropolitan City, is the fourth largest city in South Korea.

you can see my town detailed searching Wikipedia.

yes, sure I 've been visited in Seoul.

My relative live in there, there is developed, have many famous place

and it takes 2 hours from here to go there on a rapid-transit train.

well, here are a lot of great place to travel in Korea not only capital Seoul.

And as you might know, Korea is located between China and Japan.

So Korea influenced both countries and especially japan, historical and cultural.

In case at school, most of there have a 'Japanese' class as a second foreign language.

and Historical case, Korea has a history of 5000 years, we fought, interchanged, diffused culture, etc

but we had painful by The Japanese Occupation Period (1910-45) at once and the Korean War (1950-53) broke out.

This is a big reason why the Korean Peninsula was divided into South and North Korea.

Reason of ' diffrence of ideas between both ', too.

I hope we unity too, like Germany in 1990 but It's easy to say, must do with prudence hh

I like watching travel program too. but maybe I knew Sintra through a travel book:roftl:

and I interested in Europe a lot. so curious and seeking, Where is any places feeling comfortable and peaceful~

I think Lisbon is that city , do you have anythings to tell me about there?

  13. Hello Hyerie! Sorry for not being able to answer you soon. But this week and the following month will be to die. :P

    Questions...uhh...I've a few to make. :biggrin2:

I dream to travel...I think we are in the same "wave". :wink2: I hadn't never heard about Daegu. Believe me. Well...I know Korea by it's name, however I don't know much about its history and even its gastronomy. You must update me. hihi And I see frequently Travel Channel. :naughty: And I've never seen North Korea on internet, either. Did you visit Seoul?

Yes..I knew that Korea is a divided country, although I don't know why, because, as you must know, some countries aren't "talked" about often. Is Daegu a comercial developed city?

Ohh...And I've to ask...Does Korea have more "Japanese" or more "Chinese" influences?

I've to say that you surprised me. It isn't frequent to hear...well...I've never seen someone expressing so much enthusiasm for Lisbon...ok, Portugal. And Sintra?!?! How did you know?? It is absolutely fantastic. I'm speechless.

You would really enjoy visit Lisbon, Sintra, entire Portugal!! :)

I've to do my homeworks. Talk to you soon. :wink2:

If we don't talk I wish you a great week. :D:D
