I know what you mean by celtic, but u2 isn't exactly the biggest representative of THE CELTIC SOUND LOL.

I love them anyways. And I DO like the "celtic sound" as well (I'm not Irish but I love ireland and its people)

Uhh Ana, me imagino que si no te gusta lo social tu colegio debe ser un horror...La orientacion suena a 'aprendemos a ser bondadosos y caritativos y a hacer labores para ayudar al projimo'. Cuando te nace esta bueno, pero si lo tenes q hacer para el colegio...

 

El mio no era tanto como Corazon de Jesus, pero era el San Cayetano. Ahora el jueves fue la celebracion, esa q se llena de gente pidiendo trabajo y a veces sale en el noticiero...así que no me atrevi a pasar por la puerta, a ver si tmb me cruzo con la gente que hace años q no veo!

el mio es orientación economia. lo odio. es decir, se hacer asientos contables, devengar intereses y liquidar sueldos. WTF? para q mierda quiero saber eso? (creo q prefiero trabajo social)!!!

I don't live in the states and there are not college bands over here. Only a really good national university orchestra but I don't think I'll be up for that next year with all the exams and so forth...

A friend of mine will become a professional cellist. I'd LOOOOVE to play the cello so much but I just don't have the time right now

I think I beat most of you when it comes to band geekiness (word/spelling?)

I play the piano (at home, not in the band), 1st clarinet, tenor sax (I'm not really good @ this one)

AND sing for a change LOL.

I play by most of the time (I hate sight reading), so I know many parts that aren't my own LOL. (eg alto sax that sits behind me, trumpet, etc)

too bad I'm a senior so I'll have to leave the band when I finish school in december.

hey i have got boh rap and these are the days of our life also the greatest hits 1 book. I am not a musician but my nephew has played from these books(HE is an amazing musician) and the songs sound all correct and brillliant!!

nothing happened, it's just that I don't like the way the songs are arranged (left hand plays chords right hand plays melody). Mika does not play them like that, he arranges them so that he plays chords with both hands (maybe right hand chords and left hand bass line), so he can sing the melody.

does anyone know if the queen sheet music books (specially 'a night at the opera') are any good? i mean, are they arranged as the original songs or are they horrible arrangements like the LiCM book?

So I have a very little multi-system DVD player, which means I can play the DVDs no matter what country they are from, and this is very good at times like these, because I can just buy the DVD from wherever, and it will work.

 

I hate the region coding thingy they have. It is very unfair!!

YEAH HATE IT TOO. I ONCE BOUGHT A DVD IN ISRAEL, AND WHEN I WANTED TO BRING IT HERE, I REALISED THAT IT DIDN'T WORK. I HAD TO CONVERT IT SO NOW IT PLAYS DVDS FROM EVERY NORM.
