There was a bit of feedback from the celesta when he started playing.

After watching the videos over and over again, it looks like he was ready to take the mic off even before the feedback sounded. If you watch when he actually performs it, he plays the piano longer and doesn't take his hands to the mic at all.

I'm so short, everyone in front of me was technically "in the way". I really tried not to push forward unless I was jumping up and down. I'm quite the klutz so I try not to jump much. I was getting pushed on my right side and it was really annoying - I try not to transfer the annoyance to someone else.

I'm really short too and I picked a spot right behind the 2 tallest girls there. There was quite a bit of pushing from the left side too, I heard.

It is VERY hard to be around people who don't get it immediately following a gig - and it is even harder (now I know) to be ALL alone . . . with just you and your racing mind that is still trying to process and comprehend what JUST happened to you - and what you got to experience (in YOUR face)

I went straight to the Airport . . . . ha ha ha security wasn't even open YET - I had to wait 3 hours JUST to go through . . . and BELEIVE it or NOT but, I did not sleep = nor did I sleep on the plane - - - and I did not go to sleep last NIGHT until . . . s!it I don't even KNOW but it was after 2 AM . . . I was AWAKE for 4 days . . . .and STILL found it HARD to sleep!

That was EXACTLY how I was! I thought I would sleep lots but no.

My friend was convinced there was something wrong with me. I did not eat all day, except for ice cream and I couldn't sleep.

Still planning on doing some sort of gig report but need to gather my thoughts.

That was why I KNEW I could not go back to the hotel room with my friend who didn't really GET the Mika thing, though she tried to humor me. I tagged along walking the streets of NY with Suzy, Jack, Sunshine, Cassiopee, and gang until I could tell my friend was about to DROP.

Alice, thanks for the report. That was me you were talking to about the extra tickets I got for my kids in line. My friend was quite concerned about your daughter in the bar area. She looked like she was having a clautrophobic attack with all the shoving from the rear.

Yes, there seemed to be alot of that. And it has already been mentioned but Relax was ruined by some girl screaming the lyrics so loud that you couldn't hear Mika.

There were 2 girls who asked (sorry, I forgot their MFC name) and he told them to stick around and when he was done speaking to everyone he looked for them (how sweet is that?) and took a picture with them.

Part of it, I think. I tried to take a snippet at least of each song so that I had to play order. I got it until I practically got shoved over by the crowd behind.

Last night's show was absolutely amazing! I was able to take some videos that I will upload in a day or two. I should be dead tired and asleep but I'm not. I couldn't hardly sleep at all last night.

It was great to meet so many Mika fans!

Just be prepared to get wet. So, maybe ummm... a raincoat or a bathing suit.

I'm trying to pack light but the weather is so unpredictable! Raincoat for sure. Hopefully it won't get too hot nor too cold.

Of course! I wanted to pass that along to everyone, just so we have an idea of how things are going to be. They want us to start lining up around noon. So, now that everyone has info - it will be their own judgment as to when they are going to get there. I for one - do not want to start the day off on the wrong foot. I want it to be a peacful day, and make sure that the venue security/staff are happy with us, and the way we conduct ourselves/represent MIKA and the MFC!

No, I will miss your meet up. I'm coming in on Tuesday and am trying to figure out how early I should get there. I am traveling with a friend who is not really into Mika but for some reason, she wants to go with me. I can't wait!!!
